The woman hired by Donald Trump’s campaign to replace an Ohio county chair who resigned Thursday for saying there was “no racism” before President Obama apparently deleted a Twitter archive full of negative articles about the candidate she now represents.

As reporters from the Columbus Dispatch and the Cleveland Plain Dealer observed, Ohio GOP Treasurer Tracey Winbush deleted some 17,000 tweets on the same afternoon that she was named as Trump’s new campaign chair for Mahoning County.

While Winbush didn’t herself make negative comments about the real estate mogul, she did share articles labeling Trump a “racist, sexist demagogue” and a “Godless man.”

During a Republican primary debate last August, Winbush posted a photo of Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) with a caption calling him “the next President of the United States.”

In another post recovered by the Huffington Post, Winbush shared a meme disparaging Islam as a “misogynistic” religion:

After journalists began surfacing the old posts, Winbush shared that she registered to a service that would delete all of her old tweets simultaneously and posted a message that made it seem as if she’d just joined the social media site.

She told people questioning the mass deletion that her previous messages weren’t meant for them to read, and that they’d have to get to “know me now.”
