- 9/18, Sunday, 11 am-2 pm: Back to School Picnic, PTA Store open, Mountain Lake Park
- 9/16, Friday, 9-10 am: Coffee and Conversation (Alamo families get together), school library
- 9/20, Tuesday, 5:30 pm: School Site Council (SSC) meeting, school library
- 9/23: Friday, Alamo School & Student Fall Picture Day, auditorium
- 9/30, Friday, 8:15 am Halloween Carnival Kick-off Meeting, school library

- STOCK UP ON GATOR GEAR AT BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT! Fridays are Spirit Days at Alamo, so get your gear ready! The PTA store will be open at Back to School night, across from the auditorium. We've got all sizes of T-shirts and sweatshirts, emblazoned with our school logo. Store opens at 5:30pm. Look for the PTA Store table at the Back to School Picnic as well.

- GREEN SCHOOL YARD WORK DAY, OCTOBER 15: Our first green school yard work day will NOT BE THIS SATURDAY, but will be Saturday, October 15th. We hope to see you there. If you would like more information about our green school yard committee, please reach out to Andrea at andrea.flint@gmail.com or attend our next Green School Yard Meeting on October 6 at 3pm in the school’s roof garden.
- READY, SET ... HIKE! LET'S GET READY FOR SOME CMI! Will you join in the Count Me In (CMI) madness this year? We will be rolling out 12 events at the Back to School Picnic this Sunday. Bring a friend and sign up for an event together - the more the merrier!
- PICTURE DAY, FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23: The Picture Day ID for Alamo School to order and pay online is BY416548Q0. You can also pick up a hard copy of the flyer to pay by check in the main office. www.mylifetouch.com Click HERE for flyer.
- SQUARE 1 ART: For teachers, room parents and Square 1 Art volunteers - art sheets are due back on October 3, please make sure to submit your class art projects. If you would like to volunteer on this fun project with your class, please email me with your name and room number to Paltertal@hotmail.com.
