826NYC Orientation Signup
Thank you for your interest in 826NYC! To get started, sign up for an orientation or another shorter-term project. Orientations will provide in-depth training on topics useful for volunteers interested in our After-School Tutoring, In-Schools, and Writers' Room programming.

*After-School Tutoring & Writing: 2:45pm – 6:15pm, Monday – Thursday
    –Park Slope Center/Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.: 372 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY
    –Williamsburg Public Library: 240 Division Ave, Brooklyn, NY

*East Harlem Writers' Room: 2-3 hours shifts between 8:30am – 3:30pm, Tuesday – Friday
    –PS/MS 7 (East Harlem Writers' Room): 160 E 120th St., New York, NY

*In-Schools Program: Project-based, usually weekday mornings and early afternoons.

*Field Trips: 10am – 12:30pm, Monday – Friday (Park Slope Center)

*Store Shifts in the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.: 2-3 hours shifts 12pm–6pm Tuesday – Sunday (Park Slope Center)

All orientations (unless otherwise noted) are held in the Secret Library behind the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. (372 Fifth Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11215). *Please note that we take a two month break for the summer and will return with new orientations in July.
