A new 56,000 square foot outpatient clinic to serve area veterans was dedicated Tuesday. The outpatient clinic is located at 1170 Shawnee Street, just across the street from the Savannah Mall and adjacent to the two movie theatres.)
The new facility will mean fewer trips to Charleston for services and offers expanded local health and mental health services to the area’s estimated 25,000 veterans. There is also a special women’s health area to accommodate for the fastest growing veteran population, female veterans.
Appointments begin Monday, November 7th. We’re told that the hurricane delayed the moving of equipment. Until then, appointments will continue at the old facility on Montgomery Crossroad
