Okay, since "we" seem to annoy people in the other shipping topic .... I made an EU special ;-)

My order, placed 1 hour after the Keynote, is still "processing" with a 16-23 estimated delivery.
13" BTO (us keyboard, rest is base model).

Money was taken from credit card on Friday, yet no further progress at all....

Really hope they start shipping to Europe soon..

I posted this in the US delivery thread and replicate it here for my European counterparts -

UK buyer here and I must say that whilst I am nowhere near my delivery slot of 8-14 December, I cannot contain my excitement any longer having read of the lucky souls on here getting their MBPs early (!).

I feel the pain of my European friends as it does seem odd that the US are leading the way with deliveries, particularly as we are taxed so heavily for the privilege of shopping Apple in the UK (my stock 15 inch has cost me £2.4k).

I have today e-mailed Apple for some kind of update as to whether my slot may be brought forward but I do not expect an insightful response.

On a slightly different not, I should add that I returned a refurbished 2015 top spec 15 inch MBP for a stock model 15 inch with Touch Bar model. Why? Because I am in no way a power user and the new model's svelte body, intriguing Touch Bar, brighter and wider colour gamut screen and crazy HD speeds were more than enough to turn my head. I am excited about the new MBP whilst I was merely content with the refurbished model and for me, technology should excite in some regard. So I still have no regrets!

May I also just say that this thread and entire forum is massively informative and I am very glad to have found it.

I'm also really excited for my new tMBP 15", I increased the HDD to 1TB and added the 460 GPU plus Apple Care, that plus the additional dongles, power cable extension and USB-C lightening cable put the entire cost more than most people's first car haha!!

Unfortunately, I was very late to the party, so late in fact that my expected delivery date is between 20th and 29th December, I'm not going to get my hopes up of seeing it before Christmas

15" ordered right after the keynote (BTO everything max except 1TB SSD), with delivery 17-24th.

Same as you mate, authorised on the 11th and still processing items.

I spoke to an Apple online chat specialist with no real expectation because these guys really can't know these things for sure but he said that these devices are usually shipped to EU customers from China/South Korea/ something else nearby and arrive via Dubai or Cologne.

It doesn't exactly help but it just dims the expectation of having sudden delivery from an EU warehouse

I do have this feeling that we will get an Apple notification that due to excessive demand, shipment times will be delayed. As long as I get mine to play with over Christmas I won't go bat-**** crazy though...

Same here, ordered a maxed out 15" mere minutes after the keynote an its still stuck on processing. I too spoke to CS (Germany) and BTOs are indeed coming from China and not some warehouse unfortunately...

Here is hoping that they will be sent out as quickly as possible!

I really hope not! If that happened, the least they could do is to throw in a gift card or something.. :p

I ordered my 13" BTO 512GB an hour after the Keynote and got a delivery frame of 18-25 Nov. Still processing, and it's almost the Nov 15. The lady in CS told me to chill my tiddies basically and that "we technically still have 11 days" and denied any delays might be happening.

Can someone give me a rough estimation of a delivery date if I was to order this week? This would be from a retail seller because there are no Apple stores where I am. I wonder if that makes a difference.

I've ordered 13''(wTB) from retail seller as well for the same reason and they told me that it will be delivered for two weeks. As far as I know, retailers got their orders faster.

All Schiller had to do was go "starts shipping in 2-3 weeks in the US" and all this fuss would be over because we'd be prepped for ours to arrive later.

Really. That's not bad at all actually. We're neighbours so maybe I'll get the same estimate as you. I may place an order tomorrow.

All orders that where quoted 2-3 weeks will ship on or before Thursday. My better half ordered her 15" on the 27th and that's scheduled for a 17-24 delivery. 17 is going to be tricky unless they ship to a central warehouse but that's highly unlikely :)

Are you in EU? oh, of course. Ok my assumption about the estimated delivery date is 2 for America, Asia-3 for EU. So I think this will also happen to 3-4 week.

Ordered the 15" 2.9GHz, 460, 16GB RAM with 512 SSD an hour after the keynote. Got a dispatch windows of 2-3 weeks and a delivery window of 16 Nov - 23 Nov. My creditcard got charged last Friday, but haven't seen any changes since.

Or, you know... maybe everybody could stop making a fuss about getting their laptops at the end of the delivery window, instead of the beginning?

It's amazing that people think an organisation as large as Apple is secretly so petty as to make sure some US customers get theirs first. Like, really, do you not think they have better things to do?

And all based on the flimsiest of evidence, as well - a handful of customers on MacRumors, extrapolated out to hundreds of thousands.

This fuss is childish in the extreme.

I totally agree. However, my biggest grudge is that such a large group of US customers are getting theirs. Even people who ordered several days, up to two WEEKS, after us.

I am trying to patiently wait for my order, but it's difficult when I have seen no movement at all.

I will track this thread the whole day. :)

I ordered about 30 minutes after store came up again. MacBook Pro 13, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, 2,9GHz.

I called CS yesterday due to a dongle lost in transit.

He told me that my CC was authorized on Friday. The MacBook Pros to Europe are expected to be shipped within this week. He said that the MacBooks should arrive within our given timeframes.
