Provisions for Standing Rock

I was at Standing Rock the month of September and I met many people with such heart, bravery, humbleness, and compassion.  The teachings from the elders are powerful.  You cry.  You feel the power of Spirit there.  There is no place like it.  

It broke my heart when I had to return to the Navajo Reservation.  I continued teaching as a substitute teacher.  Spreading awareness about Standing Rock and explained how important it is to protect the water. 

After the uprising of violence and police brutality that took place up North, I was deeply moved.  It hurt to watch the people I met at Standing Rock being arrested, pepper sprayed, and locked up, all for fighting for water.

At that moment in time, I picked up the opportunity and chose to go back to Standing Rock and fight for our water.  Fight for the sacred elements.  Water, Earth, Fire, and Air.

I am renting a moving truck and collecting donations and supplies to deliver to Standing Rock.

My intentions is seek out those who need supplies the most at Sacred Stone Camp.  To ensure they have suffience protection against the weather, warmth, and food.

I will be staying at Standing Rock assisting with cooking, building winterized shelters, and helping with the needs of elders and children.  

Whatever is asked of me or what I see needs to be done is my priority.
