Jayded:
Kyle is the cliché bachelor; he is a twenty-four-year-old charismatic chick magnet who refuses to settle down. He’s dead set on living the carefree single life—that is—until Max comes strolling in. Everything about Kyle is telling her no, but her heart and the heat between her legs is screaming yes.
Who knew that just one hello could alter their lives forever?

Transcendent:
Love, desire, and the undeniable hunger for another living being is something Jeffrey Bauer knows nothing about. He’s been careful to never indulge in the same woman more than once—until now.
Elise screams innocence and purity—a beauty that Jeff doesn’t want to taint. He has to decide to embark on his deepest desires with Elise or to save her from himself by staying far away.
Will he be able to fight the irresistible pull she has on him? Or will he allow her to slip away?

Nirvana:
Junior Saunders is searching for the perfect woman: gracious, elegant, and meek. Kinsey Balterson is everything but gentle, delicate, and docile. She says it like it is—a spitfire, full of sarcasm with looks to kill. She’s downright sexy and thrilling in every way possible. She is a constant reminder of everything Junior detests in a woman.
Can opposites really attract? What happens when attraction turns into something deeper?

Shevaun DeLucia lives in upstate New York with her husband, four children, and two dogs. As a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, she fell in love with reading. She indulged in the small moments that took her away from the reality of her loud, overly rambunctious household, bringing her into a world of fantasy. When reading wasn’t enough to satisfy her, she turned to writing, determined to create the perfect ending of her own.

Jayded:
Kyle is 24 years old, he's recently earned his Master's, and now works for his parents' successful publishing house. He's enjoying all of the benefits of a bachelor lifestyle and stays far away from words such as long-term and commitment. Life is sweet and then he's knocked on his ass by the gorgeous Maxine. She's a 33 year old from South Carolina, a successful business owner, and about to become partners with none other than Kyle's parents. When these two meet, sparks start to fly immediately. It doesn't take long for them to start heating the sheets together, but it's all done in secret. It's supposed to be no-strings and loads of fun. Until the heart wants what it wants that is. This story was sexy and humorous and I liked how the author played with the cheetah theme. It was done with class and thankfully the characters themselves didn't dwell on the age difference. Age ain't nothing but a number after all. There was even a hint of drama because each had a psycho ex ;)

Transcendent:
When I saw that Jeff (Kyle's best friend and a confirmed bachelor) was interested in Elise in book one, I was hoping for more of the story. But once they went on their non-date, I didn't see them again. I didn't know what happened. Until now that is (read the book).

Elise comes across as very shy, awkward and completely unaware of her worth or her appeal. She's got a lot going on at home and has no help and no one to confide in. She's been dealt a pretty raw deal. One night changes everything and she realizes that she can count on Jeff.

I enjoyed the push and pull of their chemistry. I liked that she gave him pause. Elise was very easy to like. She was beautiful, inside and out. The only thing that really bugged me about her was how reserved she was, but considering her circumstances, I could understand. And although, in the beginning, Jeff still came off as self-absorbed, cocky, inconsiderate, and as a real jerk, I liked how the author wrote his character's development. Because in my eyes he definitely grew and by the end he was no longer a boy. He had become a man. One Elise could count on, lean on, depend on, and draw strength from. Who wouldn't want a man like that?

Nirvana:
I strongly disliked Junior (Kyle's brother) in book 1. He was a kissass, what I call a suckboy, and acted the fool way too much. I didn't have high hopes that the author could change my opinion of him, but she did. I think it took actually getting his story for me to see him in a better light. Who knew that he could be so sweet and so freaking hot?! I never saw him that way because his attitude clouded my vision, but dang! I think Kinsey (Maxine's BFF) brought out the best in him. Or at least shone a brighter light on his more positive attributes because I ended up really liking him.

So these two lived in denial for a while. Junior was convinced that he wanted someone meek and mild and Kinsey thought Junior was an ass. Not what you think a match made in heaven would sound like, but they were. Their chemistry, even when they fought it, was off-the-charts. Kinsey was as snarky, crass and obnoxious as ever but I adored her anyway. The story is full of steam, humor, family, and most of all love!

I'm going to do this review on the series as a collective since that is how I read them. Shevaun DeLucia is a new to me author so I really did not know what to expect when I started this series. For the most part, the writing flowed well and it read really quickly, which I love. While there is a tiny bit of angst in each book, it is pretty limited and it focuses on the end story and true love. Each book is about a different couple so they can be read as a standalone. However, all six of the main characters are heavily involved in each others lives and there are updates on other characters in the books.

While I enjoyed all of their stories, I think I enjoyed Junior and Kinsey the most in Nirvana. I'm a sucker for roommates/enemies that end up falling for each other. They always start out with that major push and pull with both of them fighting their feelings for each other. I also loved how feisty Kinsey was and how much Junior was able to push past all her defenses.

Kyle and Max from Jayded were a fun couple. She's older than him and their relationship could be seen as a serious taboo. However, the two of them were instantly attracted to each other and they both went for it. Max ends up taming the former playboy and showing him what it really means to find that one true love.

What I loved the most about Jeff and Elise from Transcendent was how taken Jeff was with her from the moment he laid eyes on her. Elise is loyal to a fault and probably the most caring person ever. She's never really taken time to love herself and do things for her because she's always taking care of someone else. When Jeff steps in and gives her the love and care that she so desperately needed, we start to see just how fun and happy she can be.

Overall, I liked this series. Each couple has a past that shapes who they are and find that special someone that helps them break out of whatever hold that past might have. There are a lot of fun times between all of them and it is clear just how close everyone is. Family and friends who all love each other. If you are looking for a few forbidden loves, overall happiness and some sassy moments, then this is the series for you!

I am so happy of had the chance to binge read lol. I loved the stories, the different characters and the fact that the characters were interconnected yet so very unique.
Jayded is the story of Kyle and Maxine. Kyle showed how young he was at the beginning, but I liked that he still recognised how Maxine made him feel was something special..there was some drama too thanks to psychos lol and there was age difference and forbidden romance thanks to the characters working together.
Transcendent is the story of Jeff, Kyle's best friend, and Elise, the very shy receptionist. I love Elise..such a heart of gold..and Jeff proved to be a good man, not only the fun and easy going guy we met in jayded.
Nirvana is the story of Junior, Kyle's big brother, and Kinsey, Maxine'so best friend. To say I didn't like the guy would be an understatement..he grated on my nerves, but I have to say he is a different guy in his story..or maybe I just never knew he had a good side to him. I absolutely adored Kinsey..how could I not? the woman was a trip and she had no reservation about speaking her mind. not his type of woman, but turned out just what he needed.
the great thing about box set is that I don't have to wait to know what happens next..and even though the stories are all standalone, it's great to know all the characters and see where the author takes each character.

Three incredibly well written stories with distinctively well defined characters. Each character has their own little back story, however, the main characters in each book have the largest problems in their past. It's what makes them work, it's what makes them attracted to their "one and only's". They are wonderfully hot reads that will leave you panting for more.
