The DTT, the German Association for Terminology, organizes a terminology competition

The German Association for Terminology (Deutscher Terminologie – Tag e. V. called also “DTT”) will grant an award to students, terminologists and institutions for their outstanding achievements in the field of terminology science. This award is intended to promote any scientific work that makes an important contribution to the science or management of terminology by means of an exemplary thesis or particularly pioneering work in this area.

Award

The recognition of this award will be a certificate and a monetary award of 500€. The winners will be invited to assist at the next DTT Symposium and give a speech on their work. It is a great opportunity to help young terminologists and scientists to present their work to the international community.

Dates and deadlines award

  • 30th June 2017: The date to present papers, thesis and proposals.
  • 30th September 2017: The announcement of the winners.
  • 30th November 2017: The deadline for the presentations for the DTT Symposium.
  • Spring 2018: Lecture on the DTT Symposium

Last meetings

Last Friday 18th and Saturday 19th TermCoord’s team held the meetings to introduce EurTerm and the Interinstitutional German Terminology Portal to the German Terminology Council.
