Atlanta based songstress Rebecca Ramos is making moves and pumping out pure sonic goodness with her latest indie solo-project I The Victor.  With a genre-bending sound, I The Victor features a kaleidoscope of influences. From spoken word to pop and alternative, Rebecca fuses sonic elements into colorful, vibrant and uplifting songs. Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the video for her fresh track “Toothpick,” it’s taken from her most recent “Pause” EP.

Rebecca had this to say about her latest track:

“Toothpick is probably the most loved song off of the Pause EP and it means probably too much to me for me to really say. Its video is actually part 2 of a video I shot for a song called Searching For You. I did both videos with an amazing director/videographer/musician named Alexa San Roman.  I wrote those two songs together for the EP as they both are very much, at their core, about searching for yourself and searching for growth or faith, so we wanted their visual narratives to be tied to one another as well. Essentially the narrative altogether showcases a lot of movement and different locations, while I’m actually just in a room and having those things projected onto me. There’s a metaphor there that means a lot to me, so I hope that idea sticks out to those who see the video too”
