2016: A Year in Review & Christmas Message

The time has come to hang up the “gone fishing” sign and unplug for the year.

2016 A Year in Review

2016 has been incredible to say the least. Our sister website Cocktails & Bars is flying high, our social media following has been growing exponentially and we have exciting plans for the New Year for both Gourmantic and C&B.

Highlights of 2016 are too numerous to list this time. Gourmantic turned 7 years old in June and we celebrated with an epic 7 day-7 cocktails-7 bars extravaganza. I’ve been guest speaker at the City of Sydney’s Business 101 Seminar and on a media panel for Bar Week business seminars. There’s never been a dull moment, and there’s never been a free moment to put one’s feet up and chill, until now.

Gourmantic will be taking a break from Friday 16 December 2016 and returning on Monday 23 January 2017. We have a couple of auto updates while we’re away. Meanwhile, Cocktails & Bars will be auto updating with new content so head over there for drink inspiration.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all happiness and good times during the Christmas and New Year break and look forward to welcoming you back in 2017.
