I started with L.K. Collins's book Just The Sex: 40-plus steamy sex scenes. It starts with Latch sex scenes and after reading scenes with Abby, I needed to know more about this couple. So I started reading Latch book which is first book and must be read before Abby.
Apparently their story is based on real events; they are authors's friends. Pace was normal to quick, a lot of drama.

"4,75" stars from me!!!

Wow what a closure besides the continuation of the story which was breathtaking especially after the huge cliffhanger. The thing that totally captured me was the epilogue.. really it was very sweet and unique and afterwards left me with a big smile on my lips.

The final installment was an intense emotional roller-coaster with twists, wow moments and hot explicit scenes, the author did an exquisite job delivering a strong story with the ability to make you want to get in and interact with our characters who both were very lovable.

I'm pretty sure that many readers will love them and their storyline, so these two part story is definitely recommend and i'm looking forward for the next beauty the author will create.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Abby is the conclusion to Latch. You have to read Latch before Abby or you will be extremely lost.

Abby has left everything she has ever known behind and taken a leap of faith. She's found her once in a lifetime love in Latch. With Abby gone Latch is beyond broken. Abby is his everything. She's changed him so completely he has no desire to be the person he was before her. If Abby is no longer in this world then Latch doesn't want to be either.

If you've read Latch you know how that ended. I swear I've thought about the ending of Latch a lot in the time between the first book and now. It's a wonder my kindle survived that ending. I'm definitely sure it was the worst book hangover of all time. Abby is the pay off. The you can finally take a breath now and stop thinking what you were thinking. Abby takes off exactly at the point that Latch ended. Once this book starts though you better buckle up because it's one thing after another after another for these characters. Talk about never catching a break. Thankfully though it only makes them stronger characters and a couple.

If you read Latch you do not want to miss Abby. It's like settling a great debate in your heart. I enjoyed this book and wanted so badly to give it five stars but the Epilogue was so confusing. It's been hours since I finished and I am either the most dense person in the world or I just don't get it. I think I need someone to literary explain to me what the heck that's even about. If the book had needed for me with the very last word of the very last chapter I think I would have been more satisfied. To me the epilogue just needed more explanation. If you read it and know what it's all about, help a girl out and tell me what the heck is going on please. I'd greatly appreciate it.

ABBY is the conclusion to LK Collins's book LATCH. This woman has again didn't fail to amaze me!

LK Collins writes stories that will grip all your emotions and make your heart stop at every flip of the book's page. I want to share the plot with you guys, however, I'll be spoiling the entire book if I do that. So some tip for you, read LATCH then fall in love with that hot scorching hot escort, then read ABBY.

What I loved about LK Collins' writing is she really captures her reader's attention with her heart-stopping plot and twists. Her books are not very long too, so every chapter will go quickly, but will surely etch themselves in your heart and mind.

After I read LATCH, I was left with too many questions and probably some anxiety (I'm serious, LK!). But LK didn't fail me, because she has made a very beautiful closure to Latch and Abby's story.

This book broke and crushed my heart, but successfully glued it back and now even full of love!

Dear LK, thank you for not writing what I thought you'd write. Sorry, my mind went really crazy and thought about the darkest stuff happening to my beloved characters. HAHAHAHA I must have freaked you out when I told you my conclusion. THANK YOU for saving my heart!

If i could give this book all the stars, I would.
Abby is the conclusion to LK's book Latch and lived up to everything Latch had to offer and then some. Latch ripped my heart out, shredded it, and then ran off. Abby was able to mend it, then leave me with even more feels when I thought I was spent.
Devastation follows this couple from day one and just keeps delivering blow after blow. Just when you think Latch and Abby are in the clear, yet another shoe drops, but through it all, you root for them. You feel them, yearn with them, cry with them, and love with them. Just like the first book, Abby is emotional and so, so sexy. This is one of those books that keeps me hung over for weeks while the characters keep running through my head. This book couldn't disappoint you if it tried.
This duet grabs your soul and the characters tug your heart. It was truly my pleasure (despite tears and anguish) to read Latch and Abby's story. I can't wait to get my hands on more by this author and devour it with just as much vigor.

A Review of Abby by LK Collins

Heartbreakingly AWESOME! - 5+++++ stars

This is the second book in the Latch and Abby storyline. At the end of the first book, Latch and Abby had just been run off the road by her soon to be ex-husband and Latch wasn't able to go to the hospital with her for multiple reasons. Latch has his grandma go to the hospital to check on Abby and the baby while he is dealing with the police.

After he finally gets out of the police station, he is on the phone with his grandma when there is a code blue called for Abby and he thinks that she is dead. We were left with a cliffhanger (but with LK's writing, it's not one we would ever hold against her) of Latch holding a gun to his head, so that he could follow Abby.

I don't want to give any spoilers, so I will leave you with this -- there are some people in this world that love so emphatically that they cannot comprehend a life without the other. I've known a couple of people like this in my lifetime and I have seen the aftermath of what can happen when that other person is taken away (by death or other means). Even with small children in the picture, the total devastation is so real that they just simply cannot handle the agonizing pain of this life.

This is a story that will make you ugly cry, but it is told with such grace and dignity that you can't help but love the way it is told. I have a lot of respect for LK and her writing, so even though I went through a lot of tissues, I am soooo happy for the way in which she dealt with the issues Latch and Abby faced. I truly felt like I knew these people on a personal basis and that makes LK one of those writers that have a very special gift. Buckle up for one hell of a ride.

5 +++ Heart-Wrenchingly Beautiful Stars!!!

After reading Latch, and more especially the unbelievably EVIL way that L.K. Collins ended that book, she picks you up and throws you right back into the angst with Abby!

Latch is probably one of THE most complicated, real characters that I have ever had the pleasure to read! His thoughts and emotions sent me on such a roller coaster ride that I still feel dizzy (and the book hangover is very real, as well!) The intensity of his feelings for Abby were glorious to read and the insane sexual tension between them was unforgettable...as were the off-the-charts sex scenes!

I honestly wondered at times throughout this book if Latch and Abby would make it to their HEA! So many times I found myself thinking "How much more can these two possibly take before they shatter into a million pieces??!!" (taking my heart right along with them!) and "Geez, if it wasn't for bad luck, they wouldn't have any luck at all!" But, in the end....you'll just have to read this book to find out!!!

I can't tell you how much I LOVED this entire story!! L.K. Collins has written another masterpiece and has gained me as a faithful, lifelong stalker!!!

5 amazingly beautifully written heart stopping stars

OMG where do I even begin with this...

This book physically grabs hold of you and consumes every part of your being, if you read Latch then the questions that have been spinning in your head all come flooding back to the surface as you devour this book searching for your answers, and OMG they are all there and then some.

This book has made me swear, have serious OMG moments. Has broke my heart, made me fall in love all over again and made me laugh out loud and has left me in a blissful state on finishing.

Now I'm not going to give anything away but would seriously urge you to read this book and enter Abby's and Latch's story for yourself you will not be disappointed.

The story flows from the very beginning and keeps you captivated all the way through picking you up then throwing you down then giving you a soft cuddle to make it all better.

Another stunningly written book from Lk Collins now where's the next one.

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

**Carla's Four Star Review**

* You need to read Latch before starting this book.

Abby by L.K. Collins picks up right where Latch left off. Abby is in the hospital fighting for her life. She finally wakes up from being in a coma for weeks, and I swear it is one thing after another for both she and Latch to try and deal with. Will they ever catch a break?

This book wound me up and took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I laughed. I cried. I said a few expletives and came close to having a nervous breakdown! While I did enjoy this book, I couldn't give it 5 stars because I found the epilogue confusing. I had no clue who Prezident was? After I did some searching, I discovered who he is. For a while there, I thought I had lost my mind. With that said, Latch and Abby are both books that I would have no trouble recommending.

I am truly in the most satisfying book hangover right now. After the hell we experienced in book 1, it was a gratifying to watch these characters soar. I literally watched these two claw their way out of the depths if hell and soar like plane on a takeoff to heaven. There were so many struggles for Abby and Latch to overcome and they did it with such strength and will leave you in awe of such a strong and enduring relationship. You definitely don't want to miss the conclusion of this romance. Overall this was a phenomenal read.

**5 Stars - Top Draw - Review**

Annnnd Breathe!!! OMG i hadn't realised how much I was holding my breath for this book & finally the wait is over. LK, oh LK how you made me cry (big awful ugly fat sobs) made me laugh, made me smile & without doubt, left me in another damn book funk!!

Abby is the second book in the series by LK Collins & truthfully after reading Latch & knowing just how much my head & heart was shattered by him, I was a nervous wreck to even read page 1. Never before have I EVER longed for yet been scared senseless to read a sequel in all my years of reading & this book didn't disappoint AT ALL.

From start to finish I didn't come up for breath. LK truly did break my heart again & again, with some heart wrenching moments. The sheer love, strength, courage & determination both Abby & Latch behold, pours off each & every page of this book, seeping deep into your soul. It is a true story of survival, a story of never giving up hope, even when you believe you have nothing left to live for.

For me - LK not only nailed the way in which she developed the characters in this second book, but also took me on an unbelievable journey, with an amazingly beautiful & breath taking storyline - a one that will stay in my heart forever.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. Now I have to wait patiently for whatever falls from LK's fingertips next!!

I received the book Abby by LK Collins in exchange for an honest review. This book is the sequel and conclusion to Latch. This book continues on directly where Latch leaves off. And all the questions that you are left with get answered. I easily could have read this in one sitting but ended up spreading it out over a few days. After the terrible car accident I felt the pain they experienced through the way the author told the story. Lots of raw emotion. I felt like once again LK Collins sucked me in to story and I was totally enamored. I am not usually into erotic books but I felt like there was so much more to this story then just sex. Latch's love for Abby is so evident in his reactions and actions. He would literally do anything for her and for them to be together. Don't get me wrong I felt like Abby loves Latch as well and I am not saying she loves him less or anything. We also get to see more of Latch's dad in this one and it was cool to me that we got to get a feel for him. Anyway I felt like this was well written and easy to follow. The series ended exactly as it should have in my opinion. Everything in their story is complete and I feel like I can move on with my life lol! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to review this book. I really enjoyed it!

Abby is the conclusion of this intense duet, and you must read Latch first, or you just won't experience the wild ride correctly in it's powerful entirety. I absolutely love this author's writing, however, I couldn't stop calling her names while reading Abby. And the f-bombs flying everywhere had me sounding like a sailor! L. K. Collins is permanently on the list of authors trying to kill me DEAD, and forever dubbed #EVILWHORE! Her brilliant writing style pulled every emotion known to man, out of me, in this conclusion, which left me exhausted by the last page. The hits kept coming from twists that were around every corner, making the OMG moments off the charts intense! Character development is fantastic, as Abby and Latch reacted to life's hits realistically, which forced them to grow. A fast paced, emotional, and very well written storyline flows effortlessly. In between the insane drama, SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness relieved the stress of the world blowing up. I realize my review is somewhat different than my norm, but I'm trying to be good so I don't ruin the amazing story for anyone. Cannot wait to read what this author comes up with next, as I would read her grocery list, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was given this book for an honest review……
Ms. Collins has done it again with the conclusion of this amazing story. I love how she made Latch and Abby into a realistic couple. I laughed and cried and just wanted to scream at times but I loved it!!!!!
We left off with Abby fighting for her and the baby’s life and Latch with a gun to his head.
I really don’t know how I want to start this review because I don’t want to give anything away that was how good this book is.
When Latch looked into your eyes you would leave everything you’ve ever known behind, diving into the abyss of love. That consuming, sacred, life-changing feeling that takes you captive Abby did and she would do it again.
Latch broke every rule he had when he laid eyes on Abby she turned his life upside down with just one look. And from the second she gave in to him, he was a changed man. He was never the same again. How could he be? She was his once in a lifetime.
Did Abby die? Did Latch shoot himself? Can they overcome all the obstacles that are thrown at them at every turn they make?

Abby is the conclusion to Latch. The two stories weave an intense story of unexpected love.
In Latch, we fell in love with the sexy New York escort as he navigates his unexpected and overwhelming feelings for Abby. In Abby, we further fall in love with Latch through his unwavering support and need for Abby.
LK Collins wrote an intense story of raw need, new love that is tested at every turn of the page. Collins mixes the sweet with the sexy and a dash of humor. She keeps the emotions raw and true making this a great read. And let's be honest, Latch is freaking hot!
I enjoyed the plot line of Abby in this conclusion of the duet. It tugged at the heart strings and with every turn of the page, you hoped and cheered for Latch and Abby.
I absolutely loved the epilogue to abby due to the POV. It was unexpected and begged for more questions-- not because there wasn't enough closure. The story is definitely finished and complete. However, the voice of the POV made for a unique epilogue and made you go hmm. If you're thinking about reading Abby, let me say the epilogue is reason enough. Oh and did I mention how hot Latch is?

The most beautiful tears

Latch and Abby... I don’t even know how to put into words the emotions I went through reading this story. This couple and the trials and tribulations they endured and overcome was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read. And they caused the most beautiful tears. I know that I have now officially become a fan of this author for life. The way the words flowed were so awe inspiring. It takes an artist with a special mind and a true gift to do that. I’m grateful to have been able to experience this story and it’s one I’ll never forget.

This is the second book to Latch. Latch and Abby have been through so much, that you don't think there could be more. Oh wait. It does happen. Some one from Latch's past comes forward with news that could destroy what Latch and Abby have conquered so far. Can these two get through this hurdle? Need to read. Great story, great series.

“If being with Abby has taught me anything, it’s to enjoy the small things. Life is far too precious to do anything but that. Like the simplicity of her lips against mine or the way her laugh would fill the room.”

4 Abby stars!!! What a great conclusion to a dramatic set of books!

Warning, you need to read book one, Latch, before even thinking about reading Abby. Ugh, after the ending to book one, I have been living on the edge of my seat. I needed to know what was going to happen!! I loved this book and I had to read it in one sitting, because that ending had me feeling so many things!! And while I loved Latch, Abby left me a little confused by the epilogue… I need a little more clarification as to who Prezident is. Other than that I loved the book and I would tell everyone I know to read them!

TEAM LATCH!
Have you ever felt your heart race while reading a book? Have you ever felt like you had to rush the book to get to the information your trying to find? That you needed to find out what is going to happen next, but the author is playing keep away with your eyes and emotions. Luring you more and more into the book whispering “Your almost there. You know you want to know what’s going to happen next.” Until you finally get to what you want and then your everything you were holding back explodes.

Well ladies and gentlemen get ready for one heck of a bumpy ride. This book took me on one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride. I didn’t know if I wanted to cry, yell, throw my phone, or hug them. But one thing that I know for sure is that I love the book, and was beyond sadden that I finish it. When I first started the book it was so emotional that I felt like I had a frog in my throat and that I was going to actually cry. Can you imagine trying explain to your boss why your crying at work; while on break, because the author of the book your reading is pulling at your heart string. Can you imagine how that would go over?

But let me just say that Abby sure did grow a pair! The Abby in this book and the Abby in the very beginning in Latch has certain grew up some. I absolutely love her! She is extremely funny and smart, the spunk that I see in her remind me of myself. And poor Latch, he is so strong. Oddly I felt more bad for Latch, rather then Abby, even though she was more physically hurt.

But Latch was more emotional hurt, and I couldn’t help but want to help him, and cheer him up. I even got mad at Latch grandma, as well as Abby for not being more understanding to Latch. Like come on you guys he’s been throu hell, give the guy a break. Think about him at times as well and even though they are thinking about him, with there decisions and actions. I feel like its not enough! LK Collins you deserve more then five stars, the amount of stars here does not express how much this book kicked butt. I love the how Latch and Abby ends at the end its unexpected and sweet.

*****It is highly recommended that you read the first book, Latch, before you read Abby, the second book in the series. Since this is book 2 in a two-book series, this review may contain spoilers. Please do not read this review if you have not read book one, Latch.
Author L. K. Collins does not disappoint readers in Abby. She made us all mad at the cliffhanger in the first book and redeemed herself in the second book. The second book picks up directly, and I mean, directly where the first one leaves off. The second book isn’t near as rocky as the first, but oh boy is it bumpy! L.K. leaves us with Abby in critical condition, Latch in peril and Abby’s psycho husband dead. She brings us new turmoil in the second book, but no life threatening scenes, thank goodness! This is a conclusion to the first book and I am happy to say a happy ever after ending for Abby and Latch.
Abby survives, and so does Latch. However, the baby does not. Throughout the book, Abby and Latch must deal with this new life and how to live it without a piece of them. They struggle, they cry, they argue, they grieve. We also get to hear more from Latch’s dad and learn about his love for Latch’s mom. This is a part of Latch that has been missing and helps him heal with his loss, as well.
As was true in Latch, the chemistry between Abby and Latch is off the charts hot and will make panties melt everywhere. There is no question why the author is a five-time bestselling author of erotic romance. If anything, the love between these two characters is hotter than ever and will scorch the pages. Their love must face some obstacles from the past. Being a former male escort, Latch and Abby run into some former clients, Abby’s ex-husband’s family, and money problems. But, none of this is a match for the dynamic, everlasting love that these two have for each other. Readers will fall in love all over again with Latch’s smoking hot body and Abby’s charming personality. L.K. Collins knocked this book out of the park!

As shown on Books and Boys Books Blog.

I had been waiting to read ‘Abby’ by LK Collins since I read the last few words of Latch in what feels like a lifetime ago but in reality was only just over a month ago. I am thrilled to say it is as good as I was hoping it would be and is definitely worth 5 stars.

This second and concluding book starts off exactly where Latch finished and we are once again thrown into the world of Latch and Abby. Latch is left thinking the worst has happened and can’t face dealing with life. There is no way that I could put this book down once I started as the emotional rollercoaster of the Latch and Abby love story kept me going wanting to know what happened next.

Abby is such a strong character and Latch needs her strength at times. Latch is devoted to Abby and is a changed man from when we first met him at the beginning of Latch. They are two characters that compliment each other so well and the chemistry they have burns up the page at times but it is their emotions that truly jump from the page. Vulnerable and heartfelt your heart strings are tugged at pretty hard at times and on occasion you may need to have the tissues on standby as tears might (most likely) be shed when reading.

There is still an amazing connection between both characters but they are faced with so much that you do wonder how they can get through it all. It is great to see two characters fight for their love with all the hurt, heartache and devastation that they have to overcome.

Again this book is a bit hard to write a review for as I don’t want to give anything away and spoil it for you. For me the writing was excellent and I was pleased with the ending. I am in love with Latch and how devoted he is. LK Collins really excelled with this duo and kept you on your toes with twists and turns that you just didn’t expect but love. This series was so different from what I thought I was going to read and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone and have done on many occasions already.

***ARC PROVIDED BY AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***

“Placing the cold, black steel to my temple, I am reassured knowing that this …is the only way…” -Latch
Latch has had a very interesting life, not legal but fun, any man’s dream. Deep inside he is a good man, but has never had the desire to fall in love or marry and have a family other than his grandma and she is all he needs. He has clients every day, morning, noon and night.
Then Abby happens and she is all he can see. She changes something in Latch and for the first time in his life he can feel, he is so drawn to her that he can’t stay away. Abby feels something for Latch that she has never gotten from her husband. Abby’s husband, Darrell, is a big time sports athlete and is gone out of town a lot and when he is out of town he is a cheater and doesn’t care if Abby sees the pictures in the news of him and other women. When he comes home early one evening Abby and Latch get a big surprise! Darrell is also an abuser and he isn’t willing to let Abby go. It is over for Abby and her husband or so she thinks. Darrell is determined to hold on to what is his.
Abby and Latch have a secret of their own and they are determined to have a life together. They are so happy but obstacles keep getting in their way. As soon as they fix one here comes another. Darrell is the biggest obstacle of all, he wants revenge. He plans and plots a way to destroy Abby and Latch and it is deadly. Will Abby survive, will Latch survive? Can they have their happy ever after?
All I can say is wow!! This story from LK Collins will rock your world!! It is so well written I couldn’t put it down. Don’t read this until you read Latch first, Abby flows right into the story from Latch. This is a must read and I will recommend it to family and friends!!
