WILMINGTON -- A man arrested in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a man and woman this month was given a $5 million bond.

Titus Nafis Lee, 19, of Wilmington was arrested Dec. 7 in Philadelphia by the U.S. Marshals Service. New Hanover County jail records show he arrived at the jail Friday and has a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.

Lee is charged with two counts each of first-degree kidnapping and first-degree rape, as well as first-degree burglary and armed robbery.

Police say on Nov. 22 Lee burst into a Litchfield Way apartment, assaulted a couple inside, then forced them to drive to an ATM and withdraw money. The victims and Lee then returned to their apartment where the victims were sexually assaulted before Lee fled.

Treddia Marie Sullivan, 27, was arrested Nov. 28 in connection with the incident and is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail on two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and kidnapping.

At the time of the incident, the Wilmington-born Lee was out of custody awaiting trial in a 2015 shooting, court records indicate.
