Just one day after decommitting from Virginia Tech, quarterback Malik Willis has found a new home, and it's Auburn.

The Tigers landed a commitment from Willis, a 6-foot-2, 198-pound three-star athlete from Roswell, Ga. He announced the news on his Twitter feed.

Willis will enroll at Auburn in January and participate in spring practice. He'll join junior college transfer Jarrett Stidham as newcomers in the battle for Auburn's starting quarterback position.

Willis led Roswell to a berth in the 7A Georgia State championship. He hit 184 of 304 passes for 2,562 yards with 27 touchdowns to nine interceptions and ran 140 times for 1,033 yards and 10 scores as Roswell went 14-1.

The AJC named Willis AAAAAAA Region 4 Player of the Year.

Willis will be Auburn's high school quarterback signee in this class. He announced his decommitment from Virginia Tech on Thursday and later announced his offer from Auburn.
