YouTube Star Kandee Johnson Reveals Details About Her SinfulColors Nail Polish Collab

The shade: "I've been obsessed with white nail polish on hands and toes (and still am) since I was a teenager, so I had to have a white polish! And there's just an essence to this white that makes it look the perfect white vintage milk glass and icing on the cake of your fingertips."

The name: "With a name like Kandee, I knew I wanted as many names as possible to sound like yummy treats, and when I saw this I was like, 'whipped cream?!? No . . . whipped frosting sounds way more delicious and like frosting for your fingers!'"

How to wear it: "I think white nails look chic, modern and can be cool and edgy. White goes with everything and can be fun to do a striped nail art look with, too."

The shade: "This shade is the perfect dreamy pink — not too cool, not too warm. We really worked on it the most to get it to perfection. My nails were white and after I washed my pink hair. Then, I got my nails done, and they turned this perfect pink shade. Everyone kept asking what my polish was, and I said, 'we need to create this pink shade because I love it!'"

The name: "When I was describing the shade of pink that my nails were and that I wanted to create I actually said, 'like the color of strawberry milk!'"

How to wear it: "It's a pink that's perfect for every skin tone and is soft and dreamy. The velvety matte finish makes you just want to stare at it or touch it!"

The shade: "I love this blue and it took a lot of re-working in the lab to get it just perfect. It reminded me of the blue I used in my Queen of Hearts video, which is one of my favorite costume tutorials."

The name: "It reminded me of the old-school candy hearts that you get on Valentine's Day. It also reminded me of the Queen Of Hearts, so I thought, 'Candy Hearts' is perfect!"

How to wear it: "This is a fun color for your nails, and it's the right blue hue that looks great on all skin tones. Have a little fun and be daring with this on your toes and hands . . . you'll feel like 'sky's the limit' with your blue sky nails, too!"

The shade: "This glittery fun color is like sprinkles on a donut! It has sprinkles of all my favorite colors, minty green, pale pink, turquoise and iridescent bits of magical shimmer."

The name: "I thought it would be fun just to do a mash-up of my name and confetti: Kandee + Confetti = Kanfetti."

How to wear it: "You can put this on top of any color — just like sprinkles on a donut or cake — or you can apply it alone to look like a vintage lucite clutch with glitter inside!"

The shade: "This is one of my all time favorite colors — pale, minty, delicious turquoise. Anyone who knows me, I love a minty, pale turquoise. So this was my must-be-created shade! I had to create the perfect minty-turquoise — not too green, not too blue, not too dark."

The name: "When I saw it, I just felt like it should be named after something in an old ice cream parlor, and my sister's favorite ice cream growing up was mint chip."

How to wear it: "Once you try this color nails — whether it's your fingers or toes — you might have a hard time wanting to use another color. It's just so happy and delicious! It's bold, yet fun and it looks great on every skin tone."

The shade: "This shade is the perfect matte Barbie pink. I had a couch, lipsticks, my hair, shoes, everything this shade of pink, and I love it! It hollers at you, 'hey, I'm glam and I'm fun! Wanna come join this party!?'"

The name: "I love vintage pin-up makeup and style from the '40s and '50s. I imagine all the accessories in a dreamy pin-up bedroom — a phone this pink shade, lipsticks, luggage, heels and in my case, even my hair! So Pin Up Pink seemed to fit perfectly!"

How to wear it: "This pink is sweet but with an edge. I love this paired with Strawberry Milk. When the colors are striped together, it looks amazing — like a vintage pink, party invitation!"

The shade: "It's pink sugar for your fingers! The color is like pink velvet cake and the texture is just like actual sugar."

The name: "Red velvet cupcakes are my favorite, and this color looks like pink velvet cake and sugar."

How to wear it: "Wear this for a decadent treat for your nails and the texture you just want to keep touching. You can also just wear it on the tip of your nails — like your favorite sugar-rimmed glass of pink lemonade!"
