The International Labor Organization reports that there are 2.3 million deaths globally each year attributed to work, with the biggest component linked to work-related disease. More than 300 million non-fatal work injuries occur on the job annually around the world, resulting in significant human suffering and economic burden.

Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to preventing occupational disease around the world.  Originally incorporated in Canada in 2011, branches have been formed in the United States, Australia and the UK.  We now have a network of more than 700 people around the world, including occupational hygienists, physicians and others concerned about workplace health.

Over the past few years, WHWB has sent experienced professionals to provide basic OHS training in some countries and engage in projects to reduce exposure of workers to hazards like asbestos and silica. We invite you to review this fact sheet and visit our website to learn more about our activities.

You can also learn more by attending two free webathons with informative presentations on November 27th at 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time and December 4th. At 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The presentation line-up and log-in details are below.
