Incredible, amazing heroine! She was strong, caring, but not a doormat! With good sense of humor, sassy but not rude!
It was my first book from this author but definitely will not be the last! I liked her writing style, the plot. The story was refreshing! After breaking up she did not call him, did not look for him... She was right HE must be the first one to talk to her after everything he’d done and said.
I didnt like the hero! Sorry! This girl deserves someone better! He was just an asshole! No cheating, though. BUT: ex-hooks ups everywhere, his comments: “that one was too clingy”, “this one is too... (something again)”, “what i can say? Im a good catch!” Just assholish words! His redemption didnt work out for me.

To Author:!!! Please, please, please tell me there will be a story for Lawrence!!! PLEASE!!!

My thoughts

This book had a shaky start, but I decided to continue on because I thought it had a lot of potential.
I wasn't disappointed.
This was a quick, cute read.
I really liked Sophie's character.
She was kind, smart, and had a really good heart.
There was a lot of chemistry between the H/h and at times it was kinda frustrating the read them circle one another.
The problem with their relationship was that the lead male character (Bo) was very immature in the regards to having a "real" relationship.
Around the 50% mark of the book, he finally gets his head out of his ass and starts to grow up, and the end result is worth the read.

I think this is a good debut novel, and I look forward to reading more of this author's work.

This book is like honey, sweet and sticky.

Sophia has problems with her dog. King Triton needs to go to the vet but he won’t move the big wuss. Sophia doesn’t have enough strength to lift him into the truck. Moving back to the town where her parents grew up after the death of her mother she is alone but needs a fresh start and that moment she stepped into the town it felt like home.

Bo Smith town bachelor and football coach has seen the new girl in town move in but has stayed away. That is until Sophia needs a hand getting Triton dog in a truck to take to the vets. And I love how they first meet

He has to be the only people I know that looks good in aviators. Damn good in fact. He starts walking toward me and suddenly my mouth feels as if I’ve been sucking on cotton balls. I swear I can hear that song from the movie Top Gun playing.

I instantly liked Sophia and her attitude towards life is refreshing. She takes it as it comes. Bo was also good to begin with but with his attitude my sympathy for him just went down the drain.

I have never met anyone who has such a strong dislike for animals like Bo, no Triton is not out to get you nor was he picking on you. I mean really he is a dog for goodness sake. After the incident with what happened to his sister and he thinks that he is the cause of it all he doesn’t form any long term attachments. Until Sophia.

It is truly heart-breaking what happened to Judy & Dave but that was exactly it an unfortunate and tragic accident.

He is self-destructive his own worst enemy. On more than one occasion he is a turd to Sophia and I don’t know why she puts up with him. But I guess love will do that, our heroine is much better off with Lawrence. I’d like to see a book with him to be honest.

She’s like a shiny new toy to him but even though he is finished or thinks he is he doesn’t want anyone else to play with her. He fights what is between them every step of the way.
Judy was awesome when she told him to grow up as he was being a sack of shit. Screws up big time and then is a coward when it comes to apologizing. Sophia didn’t let him grovel enough.

Although he starts to see things differently. Still didn’t help me in changing my mind about him.
A light, fun and quick read with virtually no angst. A bonus is that it is also well written now I didn’t love it or hate it I enjoyed it. It did make me smile a lot and laugh out loud a couple of times which I always like but this is your typical standard romance. Sweet, strong and sexy.

Slick's review:

Honey Bee was my first book my author Heather Shere, but it won’t be my last. There was something very refreshing about her style and the story could have been a sob fest given some of the serious undertones running through it, but instead it was fresh, fun and sexy.

I flat out loved the heroine Sophia Brown, she’d been knocked down a time or two, but she moved to a new town for a fresh start and to fulfill a dream she and her mother had together. Buying the house of her dreams she and her Bernese mountain dog named King Triton, who I must say stole the show multiple times through this book, are settling in but Triton’s antics put her in a position where she needs help and he needs a veterinarian and the sexy coach working out with his team reluctantly comes to her rescue. Sophia’s philosophy on life and love come the realization that life is precious and meant to be lived. I liked that it seemed very little phased her and while she had moments of sadness, she always rebounded and vowed to make the most of her life.

There were moments when Bo McDonald was flat out charming, moments when he was arrogant, moments when he was sweet, moments when he was funny and moments when I wanted to slap some sense into him. To say Bo had issues is putting it mildly and while there was no doubt he wanted Sophia, he couldn’t handle the feelings she brought forth in him thus making him retreat multiple times and acting far younger than his age. This was my one real issue with this book, it was like he just refused to grow up and learn from past mistakes.

From the first time they meet there is noticeable attraction between Sophia and Bo and when they act on that attraction it is smokin’ hot and sweet in many ways. I really did love these two together and it made it somewhat easy to over look Bo’s shortcomings.

This book was filled with some fantastic secondary characters that added depth to a very strong story and gave both characters a good sounding board when they needed it.

Entertaining, funny, emotional but with plenty of sparks and some awesome pet names between them, Honey Bee was an excellent romance.

Debut novel Honey Bee from Heather Shere is a delicious read. And that cover - HOT! Ms. Shere has written a wonderful story with well-developed characters. This book is humorous, heartfelt and satisfying.

Bo and Sophia have chemistry and their story is intriguing. Bo, who doesn’t like dogs (he has his reasons but you have to read the book to find out what they are) becomes the recipient of Sophia’s dog, King Triton’s attention. And although he doesn’t like it, Bo does like the attention it gets him from Sophia.

I loved how sassy Sophia was. She was no pushover for Bo. She made him work for everything she was already willing to give him. Bo’s examination of his own life was emotional and comes to a satisfying conclusion.

A very heartfelt story with some tender moments, Honey Bee was an exceptional debut novel. Ms. Shere has a bright future.

I fell in love with this book from page one, fell in love with all the characters from the start, especially Bo, his mama raised him right where how to treat ladies were concerned, don't get me wrong the man had a little naughty side on him as well, "he leans towards me. “Honey bee, I’ve been deep in you, so if I want to I can get deep on you.” I loved when Bo tried to do the right thing, “to convince myself I can have a date with you and not be a beast and try to take you against your truck, or on it or in it…” I really loved this book.

I love nothing more than a real-life romance and this romance is so very real. It’s down to earth and full of the thoughts and feels we all have in our heads every day as we try and get through this thing called life. It pulled me in from the first page and held me tight until the very last.
Firstly let me say, I love a strong female lead and this book delivered. I loved Sophia’s gumption. She’s been through some life changes and hasn’t let them stop her from pursuing her dreams. She is a smart girl and she won’t let her heart go running off without her head in tow. She is a girl after my own heart in many ways. She has bravely left her old life behind to try a taste of the small town living her parents were always so fond of and the last thing on her mind as she settles into her future is romance.
Now, Bo…oh Bo! He is everything I love in a romantic hero. Misguided, disconnected, almost inexcusable really. He is the is the catch every single girl in town (and probably as far as two towns over) has tried to land, but he’s unattainable. He doesn’t do serious, doesn’t want the burden of commitment and domestic life. His palms sweat at the very thought. But when he touches the new girl in town for the very first time, something more unexpected than sweaty palms happens…Sparks fly whenever they encounter each other and the iron-clad fortress Bo has constructed around himself might not be enough to protect him from how this makes him feel. As you peel back the layers and learn about what made him this way, your heart will melt, trust me.
With my favourite three R's, reluctance, realisation and redemption, this is a 5* sweet as honey story with a great supporting cast of friends, family and a furry little (big) matchmaker, that will leave you buzzing!

Side note: There is some heat to cut through the sweet too, plus I’m a sucker for a good pet name and Bo throws Sophia’s around like a pro #winning

I never knew people made their own dog biscuits. Not a clue! But I know now. Books are so educational.

This book is stolen by a great big alpha. He is dominant. Doesn't let anyone get in his way and if you dare to try you are going down buddy. He protects his woman and shows her he loves her every day, especially when she gives him special belly rubs and head tickles. King Triton totally has me smitten.

The secondary characters Bo and Sophia are quite lovely too. Sophia is one of those super talented people who are artistic and have success in everything they do, whether that be a magnificent garden or scrumptious lemonade, home made soaps, and well, dog biscuits! Oh and she can ride a bucking bronco better than Kylie Minogue in her Agent Provacateur knickers (YouTube it).

I know the cover model is Jase Dean, and whilst he does have a derrière like two firm melons and comes from my home town Leeds, I totally pictured Bo Smith as Scott Eastwood. Again it was the bucking bronco that started the thought and then I couldn't get him out of my head (not you Kylie).

I loved this sweet story of Sophia finding her tribe and Bo conquering his demons. Love blossomed while the bees buzzed, puppies slept and the flowers bloomed. Perfect!

My only regret is that I don't have a dog for puppy cuddles and to make doggy biscuits for. I'll just have to buy some honey and almond soap instead, maybe a yellow bra too.

***3.5 ‘The Dog Always Knows’ Stars***

The title was what peaked my curiosity and had me wanting to know how it tied into the story, the cover didn’t hurt that curiosity in any way either, and found Honey Bee to be a fun and quick read filled with sweet moments and a need to see how things would work out for the MC’s and a rambunctious dog who likes to eat everything and anything he sees.

Bo’s world was turned upside down years ago and the guilt he feels over his part in it has caused him to shut down his heart and keep anything that even remotely looks like commitment, to humans and animals a like, a country mile away. I liked Bo, I really did, and could understand why he felt the way he did because my heart broke for all that had been involved, but damn could the man become an asshat of epic proportions. His saving grace was his heart. He tried so hard to pretend it didn’t exist, but it always got the best of him.

Sophia has up and moved to small town USA in part because she needed a change of scenery and the other in homage of her mother’s dream and finds it to be just what she needed. Sophia is that type of person who doesn’t just give lip service to the term ‘roll with the punches’ she really does, which I found quite refreshing. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is, but she doesn’t just do the verbal vomit thing either. She has tact and a good heart that makes her easy to be around.

Their journey to their HEA was an enjoyable, if bumpy, one and I really liked that it wasn’t Sophia who was the wishy washy one about what she wanted, that role went to Bo. His attraction to her overrode his need to not get involved with her on any level and it was both fun and frustrating to watch as he came to terms with it. But even as he struggled, when they were together, and wasn’t being an asshat, there was an ease as they interacted. And it would be remiss of me to not mention Triton’s, aka King Triton, role in how their relationship progressed because he really was a vital component in their journey.

The writing was engaging and the pace was good, but even though I did enjoy the book and kept turning the pages to find out what would happen next, I am left with this feeling like I needed more from the story, like something was missing that could have take it to the next level and I’ve trying to figure it out since finishing it. It’s quite frustrating that I am unable to pinpoint what the issue is because it isn’t as if I didn’t enjoy the book, I just feel like I needed a little more out of Bo and Sophia’s journey, so I’m simply putting it on the ‘it’s not you, it’s me’ shelf and letting it lie because if I don’t it’ll drive me nuts. So, if you’re looking for a fun, quick Sunday read take a chance on this one and find out how Honey Bee fits into the story and just what Triton does to help this romance along.

This book made me have a smile on my face the entire time I read it. From the first moment you meet Triton and Sophia, you fall in love.

Sophia has moved back to the small town where her parents grew up. Hoping to fulfill some of the dreams she and her mom had, she's slowly starting to get adjusted to the small town life. But when her dog ends up needing to be taken to the vet for an emergency, she has no way of getting her mammoth dog into her truck. So when she see's the boys football team practicing across the street from her house, she asks for a little help. What she didn't expect was for the sexy as all get out, coach - Bo Smith to come a long with her.

Bo's sister and brother in law are the town's vets and he's more than a little intrigued by the beautiful woman with such a big dog. But Bo's past has kept him from forming any type of relationship with humans or animals, that could end up breaking his heart, so he decides to never get close enough to anyone who could possibly fill in those gaps. So to say his sister was surprised to see Bo at her clinic was an understatement!

Bo is drawn to Sophia but the biggest problem seems to be Triton. That dog has it out from him, he's sure of it. Always barking at him, tripping him up and tackling him. He really like Sophia, which is a whole new feeling to begin with, but that dog... he's just not sure he can handle him.

As Bo and Sophia start to become friends and more, Bo thinks he can ignore the big "elephant" in the room - but Sophia and Triton are a package deal. And Bo must decide if he can get over his past so he can have a future with Sophia.

This book was hilarious and full of rich, well developed characters that you fall in love with from the start. I really loved Bo and his stubbornness, his over confidence and his vulnerability too. Sophia is fun and carefree. Triton steals the show and Bo's sister is a hoot. The only bad thing about this book was that it ended. I want to see so much more of Bo and Sophia and may fingers crossed we can get a little peak into their future - in a novella or another book!

Honey Bee is sweet, emotionally layered and thoughtful, with enough steam to keep us smut lovers happy. Bo is an emotionally disconnected guy walking through life with not much going on except for the teenage boys he coaches. Sophia is a sweet, happy woman who has just moved to the small town her mom grew up in. She meets Bo when her dog, Triton, a happy go lucky Bernese Mountain pup, is sick and Bo steps up to help Sophia lift Triton into her car.

They fall into a casual relationship and all seems to be going well but it's already obvious that things have the potential to blow up in a huge way. Bo has an obvious dislike, or perhaps it's a fear of, Triton, and dogs in general, and Sophia is extremely attached to her big, furry baby. He is constantly telling her he doesn't do relationships and she's oddly accepting of this. I can't say that if I had been in Sophia's place that I would have been nearly as accepting of Bo's emotionally distant personality considering that she was more than halfway in love with him already. I cringed when the fallout happened, not because I hadn't been expecting it, but because it is pretty brutal, and Sophia did nothing to deserve it.

I love all the characters in Honey Bee. Sophia is an even keel, sweet kind of woman who openly embraces her new small town. Bo, for all his massive baggage, is actually a good guy, even though he was a complete tool more than once to Sophia, and to his sister and brother in law. Judy and Dave (said sister and brother in law) are quite awesome themselves. I'd love it if Heather were to write their story. And of course, the star of Honey Bee, Triton, is a big, sweet, goofball of a baby. He completely stole every scene he's in. I believe this is Heather's debut novel, or at the very least, it's the first of hers that I've read, and it's an excellent one. I highly recommend you pick it up.

4.5 Stars!

"Is that a St. Bernard? No, a Bernese Mountain Dog." You had me at that line. As a breeder of this fine canine breed,- (I've had as many as 4 adults living with me at one time!), I immediately connected with the heroine, Sophia. Dog lovers are a breed unto themselves and the author wrote all the quirks of the Bernese into this story. Loved Sophia and Triton! If anything, the comedic relief of pets in a story makes it worth the read for me. Sophia's love of the organics, the honey, farmer's market---all of that just spoke to me as a person I would be friends with.

Let's talk about Bo for a moment. Our hero has been broken and shaped by his past. Can the need for Sophia and that rascal Triton, melt the walls around his heart? Mmmm...hmmmm. Then let's just add on that he is a former athlete and football coach. He has a heart of gold for the underdog and he loves and supports his sister. Things got steamy. Things got complicated. Alpha male head took over and did something stupid. This book has it all.

First time reading this author for me. I look forward to picking up something else by her in the near future!

This book literally hugged me up. I couldn't put it down until I got to the last page. It had all the feel good factors, and even when the road got rocky, it held me tighter and we got through it.

Sophia is the new girl in a small town, making heads turn. Bo is the handsome athletics coach, who has zero commitment to relationships. Then there's Sophia's dog Triton... what's not to love, he's the glue that brings everyone together.

Throw into the mix Bo's sister Judy, and her husband Dave, who own the local vets. Sibling relationships, friendships, honesty, guilt, heartbreak, and love are all entwined within the story. Sparks fly, hearts flutter, toes are dipped in temptations, things are eaten, and they all face things they didn't see coming. Mainly Bo, as Triton goes barreling towards him!

I could list quote after quote from this book, lay out the story for you, but honestly, I'd prefer for you to read it yourself, and /feel/ it. I'll be going back to feel it again and again.

As Sophia would say "It's a lifer."

Honey Bee, by Heather Shere, is a super sweet contemporary romance. Bo is the cocky, handsome high school athletic director afraid of commitment or forming close relationships of any kind. Sophia is the beautiful new girl in town hoping to settle down and create a new life for herself and her dog Triton after the passing of her mother. This book is a case of opposites having instant attraction – as sparks literally fly when Bo and Sophia meet.

Heather Shere did a fabulous job of creating characters that were easy to identify with and who felt like real people. Bo has a past he really can’t seem to overcome when it comes to relationships of both the female and the furry kind. He has pushed away his sister and only ever has one night stands. Sophia is naturally friendly and affectionate. She easily sees Bo’s issues with commitment and tries not to press him for more than he is ready to give . . . but both seem to develop feelings for one another.

While things seem to be going well, Bo just can’t seem to get past his feelings about Sophia’s big furry baby, Triton . . . who simply adores Bo and attempts to get attention from Bo whenever he is present. When Triton accidentally wreaks havoc at an event, Bo lashes out, hurting Sophia in a way she can’t move past . . . not that Bo is even asking for forgiveness. As both try to move on with their lives, fate and Triton, bring Sophia and Bo together again . . . will Bo be able to let his past go to see the future he could have with Sophia?

I loved the characters Heather Shere created. I could easily see where Bo’s fear of commitment came from and understand why he acted the way he did. I adored quirky Sophia and her love for all things natural, especially her bees and her extreme love for Triton . . .the only family she really has left. Ancillary characters, including Judy and Dave, Bo’s sister and brother in law, were also well developed and felt like family.

If you are looking for a feel-good book, that has lots of romance, smoking hot sex scenes, a lovable yet rambunctious dog, a high school football team and everything that comes with small town life, this is the perfect book for you!

5 stars!

A Feel Good Story

This is Heather Shere's debut release and man did she do it right. Sophia is the new girl in town. She's easy going, grounded in who she is, and has a witty sense of humor. Bo is the town hottie. The high school football coach that has all the ladies attention and who gives most of the ladies attention. But underneath all of that is a man broken. It takes Sophia to bring him back to life. Well, her and her dog Triton. Triton was the most lovable character I have had the pleasure to read in quite a while.

This story will keep you reading because the characters and story make you feel good. There is slight angst but nothing that you feel tortured by. There are some tear jerker scenes but they will also touch your heart.

This a great read and a great debut release by Heather Shere. I am a fan that can't wait for her next release.

Honey Bee is a quick fun little weekend read. It’s such a sweet love story but has that touch of ‘real-life’ mixed in to let the reader fully engage in the day-to-day simplicity of life as well as the tragedy and heartbreak as well. The characters are so down to earth and have suffered the same events in their lives as many of us have, thus making it so easy to become one with book and feel like the characters are your family or friends.

The main hero of the story, Bo, is a sexy as hell high-school football coach who struggles to move on after tragedy strikes, and strikes hard. He spends many years hiding behind a façade he creates to protect himself from feeling anything again. When Sophia, his little honey bee, buzzes into his life along with her untamed Bernese Mountain dog, Triton, his façade is brought to a screeching halt. Every time they touch, sparks sting their heated flesh. Energy in the room is heightened by their mutual presence. Her simple organic life and amazing cooking skills have Bo totally entranced but she still has to make her way past that hardened shell of his.

So, with a chemistry like theirs, what can go wrong – what would stop them from walking into a beautiful sunset together. Well, life. It has a way of digging in its heels and turning an otherwise sane human being into a very grumbly honey bear. When the pain is too much, it is often easier to defend and strike out with hurtful, angry words that cut deep and leave you gasping for forgiveness.

Anyone that has ever felt and lost the love of a fur-balled friend or had their life dream come crashing around them in a single instant, will instantly feel the pang of emotion from Bo’s story. Thankfully, Sophia knows he needs time to come to grips with his new-found reality and gives him the space he requires to come to his own realization that life is too short to waste being angry and alone. The love of a good woman surrounded by children, furry pets, and loving family is all that matters.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys seeing a beautiful love blossom when soul mates meet and take the time to allow the other to grow into the person they were meant to be, together. It is written in dual POV so you can hear and feel what each of our characters is really thinking and feeling deep down in their soul. It opens up your heart to bring you closer to each character and love them all the more.

Honey Bee stung me in the heart. This was a sweet, funny, heartwarming love story. I liked it a lot. The main characters were very likeable. The leading lady's dog, King Triton, was a Bernese Mountain Dog. I own two of them. King Triton's actions were spot-on! He made me laugh and think of my own two boys behaving the same way. At the beginning, I felt the book was moving a bit too slow for me...at the end, a bit too rushed, but overall, the book made me laugh, shed a few tears, and gave me that feel-good feeling when I finished, so for me that is a satisfying read. Two-thumbs up from me for Honey Bee!

What do you do when everything you never wanted moves into your town? Honey Bee by Heather Shere gives us the story of Bo and Sophia and how they find what they were least expecting or ready for. But maybe just what they needed.

Sophia Brown was ready for a change. Alone, except her beloved dog, King Triton (Triton) and her bees, she moves to a small town and. Ready to start over, she builds a garden and works on her homemade goods. With Triton’s continuous shenanigans, she begins to get to know the people in town. Even as some want nothing to do with her or her dog.

I loved Sophia. She was sweet and had a good heart. Though she has suffered loss, she did not let it get her down. She worked hard, loved her dog and moved forward. She had a good head on her shoulder and never backed down. I found her very likeable.

Bo Smith lives with choices that left him full of guilt. Determined to never hurt anyone else or himself again, he lives his life with no commitments. He does not need any complications of any kind in his life. He is a good guy, but makes no promises and no repeats. He is content and nothing will change that.

Then one day the pretty new resident that just moved in across the high school where he coaches needs his help. One look and he knew he was in trouble. He wanted nothing to do with her or her dog. But life does not always work the way you want it too.

Sophia and Bo start spending time together and their attraction cannot be ignored. Though Sophia senses Bo’s reluctance, their friendship grows and Bo slowly begins to open up. But will his deep-rooted avoidance of relationships and commitment tear them apart? At times, I wanted to shake some sense into him. He was his own worst enemy.

I loved, absolutely loved Triton! He was everything! He had me laughing out loud continuously. And his antics with Bo were hilarious. Bo’s reaction not so much, but we come to understand him a little bit more as we continue to read.

In the end, Bo will need to decide if Sophia is worth losing or fighting for. I loved the romance and the angst just about killed me, because it could have been avoided. But in the end, this is Bo and Sophia’s story and well worth the read.

Heather Shere is newer to me but she has some other books out there. I throughly enjoyed this book! It's about the passion of a pets, the love of the game, and absolute breathtaking, heart pounding love. Honey Bee was a combination of light and heavy. It was beautifully written.

Sophia (Honey Bee) is the epitome of the perfect woman! She has the world's largest heart and does for others without question or anything in return. She has learned that life is too short to not enjoy it. Her father passed away when she was younger and her mother had recently passed. She is looking to start her living her life and give back to others.

Bo (Honey Bear) is the athletic director in his towns high school. He happens to also coach the football. He has a hard shell around his heart when it comes to dogs. He lost his family dog during a bad car accident. He is having a hard time coping with what had happened years prior.

Sophia had recently moved into a beautiful house in the town where her parents grew up. Her poor dog is having troubles because of something he ate. Bo comes her rescue and bring them to his sister and brother in law's veterinary office. Bo's family is shocked to see him there or even helping the new girl's dog. Bo stays while the take care of her dog, Triton. Deep down, he knows he should walk away but she awoke something inside him. His sister, Judy, fairly becomes great friends with Sophia. They become inseparable. Judy playing the ever matchmaker tries to get Bo to try for Sophia. It doesn't take much for the sexual tension between them to turn into a raging inferno once they got together. At first, things were going okay, but with Bo and his broken heart over his dog, Roxy, he has a hard time being with Sophia and Triton. Sophia and Triton are a package deal.

Can Bo overcome his deeply seeded hurt to be able to be with Sophia? Will Sophia make Bo see reason about dogs? Do they make it work out because they both know what they had was for keeps?

This story is filled with so much love and you could feel it while reading it! I loved the story of Sophia and Bo. If you are an animal lover or even a true romantic, I highly recommend this incredible book!

I've heard a lot of good things about this book and I was drawn into the whole, football coach hero and the heroine and Bees!

Sophia was so sweet. I was able to connect with her instantly and really enjoyed her through the whole book. She's one of those heroines you can't help but smile with.

Bo was a jerk, but it suited him. Deep down I knew he wasn't as. As as he made him self seem but trying to uncover what made him the way he was, was all part of the amazing story.

Told from duel POV it was amazing. If I had to pick, I'd always go with duel because it gives us onsite that we need while reading and this author did a spectacular job.

The plot wasn't much but at the same time it was everything. It was fun and flirty with some steam but the romance was center stage.

The setting is an amazing small town that you can't help but love. When novels have a setting have a picturesque town I can't help but love them even more. The author's writing was flawless and I found myself hanging in every word that was written.

I loved all the info about bees. It was an amazing part of this book and I totally had to look up more about them. The story and everything about it really fascinated me.

Overall, I loved this book! It was fun and sweet and had some heartbreak but it was pretty light in the drama. I loved the characters and just everything about the story. I can't wait to read more from this author! 5 stars #2OCCJD

This book is about Bo and Sophie. Two people who are dealing with life and what is thrown at them . Bo is not dealing with it and Sophie is trying but they both deal with life in completely opposite ways. This books starts with Sophie being new in town after the death of her mother, she is having problems with her dog King Triton. A sexy man is across the field from her house coaching football and comes to her rescue. That sexy man is none other then Bo. King Triton falls in love with Bo but because of his past Bo feels like that dog is just picking on him. There are so many amazing moments shared between Bo and Sophia during this time. You have to read this book to understand those moments. It is just to sweet to describe, you have to read it for yourself. Reading this book you will be able to feel what Bo and Sophia are feeling.
Sophie is a strong determined woman who dives headstrong into her mother's dream and lives in the passion that she feels for Bo. Bo holds back because of his past . Something happens that brings them all together and turns life upside down.
To me this book was funny, steamy in parts, heart warming and full of cute little moments. This book grips you right from the beginning and keeps you hanging on even if it is just to see if Bo and King Triton ever get along. Kidding kidding there are so many sweet moments in this book you want to read all of them to see what indeed happens.
Amazingly written, amazing storyline with amazing character chemistry not only between Sophia and Bo but also between Judy and Sophia. This book was a great book to read. Heather has gained a new fan after reading this book. This book has you falling in love, forgetting your past and believing that no matter what happens things can be "honey" in the end. I would actually give this book 9 stars. Absolutely loved it. One I will be purchasing in paperback for my collection

Sweet read

Firstly let me compliment the cover, I love it and it's mainly what caught my attention.

I enjoyed Honey Bee, a sweet debut romance novel by Heather Shere.

laid back characters with no heavy drama or angst within the plot. Well written and easy to follow.

Sophia moves to a small town following the death of her mother wanting to live out her mother's dreams of harvesting her own honey and produce. Sophia is a kind natured character and likeable.

Sophia's home faces the practice field of the local school football team which is how she first meets Bo who teaches the kids.

Most books have two main characters but Triton Sophia's dog definitely had a major part in this story with his shenanigans.

A slow plot, Honey Bee really is a laid back read that would be a perfect read for lazy days.

Bo has been a one night stand kind of guy for so long he really doesn’t know what to do about his feelings for Sophia and Sophia just waits for him to catch up.

Told in dual pov's with humour and the occasional intimacy increasing the pace, Honey Bee is also a beautiful story of new friendships healing and new beginnings.

I laughed along to Triton's antics and enjoyed Bo and Sophia's journey to happiness.

Perfect for those with naughty mischievous dogs you will totally love Triton.

I would of preferred a bit of angst, a quicker pace but thats personal preference and overall Honey Bee is an enjoyable read, fantastic for a debut book.

I loved everything about this book it had all the things I look for while I'm reading . It has humor , love , steam , anger , and cry my eyes out moments . Bo and Sophia make such a beautiful/awesome couple , I love that Sophia wasn't a door mat she didn't give into the H when he messed up and makes him work for it she's also lovable and quirky I love her relationship with Bos sister I think they both needed a friend and they found that in each other and became like sisters another thing I like was her dog he was sooooooooo adorable I love dogs so this book meant a lot to me and having the dog be such a important character was just amazing . Then there is Bo you cant help but fall for him even though he sometimes says some pretty mean stuff I cried when we find out why he doesn't like animals or be attached to them he has his funny moments like when he talks to his brother in law and very alpha moments .The chemistry is off the charts HOT and the banter they have is hilarious they also challenge each other outside their comfort zone .This is my first read by Heather Shere and it wont be my last I cant wait to read more from her .

Heather Shere has done such a wonderful job with Honey Bee, her first full length book!! I honestly keep thinking about the story and how much I adore it. It’s a sweet story with loveable characters set in a small town that just makes you smile.

Sophia needs a change in her life and moves to a new town, the town her mother is from. Bo is the coach of the football team that practices near Sophia’s house. An incident with Sophia’s dog, Triton, has them meet and starts off this heartwarming story. It’s a story about friendship, loss, love, getting over the past, letting someone else in, and making mistakes. Honey Bee is not only sweet and heartwarming, it’s romantic, steamy at times, well written and just made me smile.

I absolutely adored Sophia and Bo. They have an amazing chemistry they can’t deny or resist- even if Bo tries to. I will admit I wanted to smack him at times. He really could be a jerk. But he redeems himself and once he lets go of the past, he’s such a great guy. Not only is he hot on the outside, he’s a doll on the inside. I loved how he and Sophia interacted and their banter made me smile.

Honey Bee also has some great secondary characters that really add to the story. Judy, Bo’s sister, is my favorite. I was happy to see her become such a good friend with Sophia.

I’m telling you. This is one that will make you feel good. I totally recommend it!!!

4 sweet as honey stars.

Where to start??....

Heather has delivered a story of love, grief, forgiveness and learning to move forward in this sweet, small town debut romance. A romance that feels so ''real' that you don't want to stop until you've reached the last page and your left with a satisfied smile on your face.

Bo is the HOT athletics coach and the towns bachelor who has no interest in relationships.
Sofia is the new girl trying to make a life in a small town. She's not looking for romance, but when these two meet sparks fly, feelings buzz and Bo's wall doesn't seem to stand a chance against Sofia or her dog

Triton...ha Triton is just a barrel of laughs. From his laundry eating to barrelling down Bo At every opportunity he is the type of dog everyone needs in their lives...he's also quite the matchmaker. Lol.

Heather Shere, you lady have stolen my heart with Bo, Sofia and Triton, you really have.
I loved their relationship, their banter and I absolutely adored Triton. His temperament, his loyalty, his cheekiness..it reminded me so much of how my little dog used to be and it made me have a constant smile on my face.

If you're looking for a sweet, weekend read with little to no angst then this is the perfect book for you.

5 Stars!

Sweet!! I know the buzz has been good about this book and you totally need to listen to that gossip. This book was crazy good and this author... definitely on my radar now. New to me and new to the writing world, she is off to an amazing start.

Honey Bee was a light, easy, funny, sweet, and totally smitten romance that left me smiling big time and my heart bursting with love. This book sucked me in with its great storyline and kept me going with its laugh out loud moments. And the icing on the cake for Honey Bee? Two AMAZING characters who will have you rooting for them... hard.

Sophia and Bo... when they meet, spark immediately fly. Too bad Bo isn't into relationships, no matter how tempting the new girl to town is. But when circumstances force them to spend a little time together, over and over, it seems they are drawn to each other.

Sophia thinks the coach is hot but with his running hot and cold, she is not so sure but Bo is a man who wants what he wants. Can these two find a way to light the flame and let their love burn bright? Or will they crash and burn before they even really start? One thing is certain, the buzz around their little town is hot and sizzling.

Get ready for a big time romance in a sweet small town setting.

I highly recommend this book.
