Membership Tiers
Active Membership ($75) - The Active Membership is for working journalists who derive the majority of their income from journalism.
Associate Membership ($100) - The Associate Membership is for non-journalist supporters of the L.A. Press club who work in an associated field like public service, public relations, marketing, law, business or government. Non-voting.
Corporate Membership - Large Organization ($1,000) - Large organizations include daily newspapers with a circulation of 100k or more, major market TV stations and corporations with more than 3,000 employees.
Corporate Membership - Mid-Sized Organization ($500) - Mid-sized organizations include daily newspapers with a circulation of less than 100k, weeklies and semi-weeklies with a circulation of more than 50k, all talk and news radio shows, news bureaus with more than six employees, online outlets with more than 10 editorial employees, corporations with fewer than 3,000 employees and public relations firms with more than 10 employees.
Corporate Membership - Small Organization ($250) - Small organizations include weeklies with a circulation of less than 50k, magazines, news bureaus with fewer than six employees, online outlets with fewer than 10 editorial employees, corporations with fewer than 100 employees and public relation firms with fewer than 10 employees.
Patron Membership ($250) - The Patron Membership is for an active or associate member who wants to support the club’s goals and objectives. Can vote if an active journalist.
Student Membership ($30) - The Student Membership is for a full-time high school, college, or graduate student. Non-voting.
Member Press ID ($29) - The Los Angeles Press Club is the official distributor of the Los Angeles Press Identification Card. This card identifies you as a working journalist.
