AMO in Action: The Seoul Grand Meetup!
Hi everyone! Today we’d like to give you a look into our second meetup in Seoul, which took place on June 28 at FKI Tower in Yeoido. With a demand for a larger space and an astounding 300+ registered to attend, AMO needed to bring its A-game, and we’re pretty sure we delivered!
Our team prepped long and hard for the meetup, and though it was pouring while we were setting up, we were glad to see that the skies cleared up right as the meetup began.
Participants were able to pick up their tickets and AMO wristbands as soon as they walked in, and we made sure to have plenty of brochures ready for them as well. They quickly filled up FKI’s grand ballroom long before we kicked off the grand meetup.
Many of our guests arrived early, and they were able to ask questions to the AMO team, have some hors d’oeuvres, and — a special event we prepared — complete their KYC on the spot, in person. The team guided many participants through the download and use of Pallet, our cryptocurrency wallet on the Google Play Store.
This particular meetup was special in the sense that guests were able to meet some of our advisors in person. A total of four advisors were present (pictured below, left to right): Penta Security CEO Seokwoo Lee, Prof. Gu-Min Jeong, Prof. Huy Kang Kim, and Prof. Young Ha Kim.
Without further ado, we started our official program! Several speakers took the stage at the meetup, including our CTO DS Kim, who spoke on the history of how AMO began, and the company behind its support, Penta Security Systems.
Then, our CEO SangGyoo Sim spoke in detail about AMO, the blockchain platform and how car data will change the industry and society as we know it. Dr. Sim has extensive experience in IoT and Connected Car security, and his passion for this industry and for AMO was definitely alive on stage!
One of the most exciting parts of the night came with a huge announcement from David Kwak, AMO’s Blockchain Development Manager… iPhone users were smiles all around as he shared that Pallet will be coming to the App Store for iOS users soon!
The last speaker of the night was AMO’s Head of Strategy, KyungMoon Nam who shared developments for the sales, as well as introduced our advisor team. He was able to also answer questions that guests and AMO supporters had about the project.
We’re very thankful that many of our advisors were able to come and support AMO at the meetup, and with their busy schedules it was no small feat!
To also show our appreciation to the many AMO supporters who came to see us, we gave a small gift as a token of thanks! Eco-bags and brand new, white AMO t-shirts!
