Raised by my four brothers, I'm the poster girl of a
hot-mess. A sucker for cheating assholes and shitty friends.
It's the reason I've come home.
The only reason!
I arrive to find the family business in shambles. My brothers have managed to run it into the ground. With new competition, the stakes are high, especially when I realize whose stealing all of the business out from under us.

Seeing him again isn't the hard part.
I'm over Crane Lord, his cocky, dangerous sex appeal, his criminal ways of getting by, and how
he used to own every part of me.
He's the enemy. I don't want him.
I can't.
Shit!

DiDi's review:

I was instantly intrigued when I first read the description of Repossess by Jennifer Foor , I love reading books that have a strong family element, especially when there are older protective brothers involved. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized Ms. Foor ventured outside of the typical overprotective brothers route. Raimey and her brothers have not had it easy but led and cared for by their oldest brother they were able to make decent lives for themselves, all was going along well until an incident with Raimey’s boyfriend Crane shattered the tentative solid foundation the siblings had built. Raimey had no contact with her family for years, she was in love with someone until he shattered her life. Broken and cynical Raimey returns to her hometown only to find her family nearly destroyed and her ex Crane still hot as ever and determined to win her back. Raimey is determined to stay away from Crane and repair her broken family, only no one wants her involved with saving the family legacy.

Repossess is full of twists and turns I never saw coming, the sex is hot and the characters interesting. I would have loved to have been able to read it in dual POV instead of just Raimey’s because I would love to have been inside Crane's head. At times Raimey was inconsistent with the persona that was initially introduced to readers, but she is still a great character and strong woman. Repossess is definitely a book I would recommend to read. Now to check out Ms. Foor's backlist!

The synopsis had me wanting to pick this one up. A family story about a girl raised by over protective brothers. Sounded interesting. Unfortunately, the description is about all the feel good about family that the reader gets. Raimey comes across as a bada$$ girl from Jersey. She leaves home after a bad blowout with the love of her life. She comes home to a world very different from the one she left.

She has the best relationship with her oldest brother, but he too has left the world she knew behind. The rest of the family are pretty much jerks. The story is about second chances and rebuilding connections. I just did not care for Raimey at all. She spends much of the book stomping and complaining. She wants things to go back to how they were before she left home. Her version of “family”. The story is told in her POV so maybe and chapter or two from Crane’s POV may have helped move the story along. Although Crane redeems himself, I wasn’t a fan of his at first. In the end, Raimey was just so unlikable, I had a hard time believing the chemistry between her and Crane.

Just ok for me.

I liked it

Raimey has been away from the home she shared with her brothers for five years, leaving after she found her childhood friend and then boyfriend cheating on her.

Another cheating ex later and Raimey decides to go home only nothing is as she left it, her brothers thriving businesses is run to the ground and the reason she left in the first place wasn't how it seemed.

A story of second chances, sieving through lies, discovering truths and reconciliation.

Told in Raimey's pov, hot in all the right places with no heavy angst or drama. A good Sunday read.

Jennifer Foor is a new to me author so i wasn't sure what to expect. I don't check them out first i like to try different genres and authors. Forming my own opinion and i can honestly say i will definitely be checking out more of her work.

I was pulled in by the Blurb i love when a book has a kick ass woman in it and Raimey was that. Raised by her four brothers she make no bones about who she is.

 photo 1487879989809_zpsvseicukf.jpg

Repossess is a fast paced second chance kick ass romance. When Raimey leaves town after catching her boyfriend cheating things are on the up for her family. Now she's returning four years later to chaos and lies and things are not what they seemed when she left in the beginning.

Crane has never forgotten and always regretted the way things ended with Raimey. Now she's back he is more than determined to Repossess whats always been his.
I'll admit i didn't think i was going to like Crane but he really changed my opinion and in the end i loved his character and how he was with Raimey.

I enjoyed Jennifer Foor style of writing fast paced and straight to the point even amongst the lies. And the Truth will always find its way. And i'm looking forward to more from this author.

Repossess is a book about second chances. I'm not 100% sure how I felt about this book. Although it was good I just had a bit of trouble connecting to the characters. Raimey's relationship with her boyfriend goes bad and she decides that it's time to go home. Raimey in my opinion was very annoying I wanted to tell her to cope on a lot through out this book.

That aside though it was an enjoyable read I loved Crane and he was determined to get her back and would do anything to do that.

*3 Stars*

I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. The storyline was good and there was potential, but I did not connect with the characters at all. I was quite annoyed with Raimey most of the time as she just seemed so annoying and like she was whinging about every little thing. Like everything was about her.

I liked her brother Linc and Crane was alright too. There are heaps of twists in this, but I wasn't invested in the story the way I would have hoped. Its not a terrible book, but its not fantastic either. Somewhere in the middle, its still good.

*sigh* There were so many lies and twists that led to Raimey, a supposedly badd a*s chick from Jersey crying and running off, that I just wanted to shake her and tell her to get her dog and move on and leave the whole bunch of them to rot. I have to say, I liked Crane though. He was determined to get her back and set about doing it.

Things Aren't Always Black & White!!!

Raimey Tanner and her four brothers didn't have an easy childhood by they made things worked for them with the eldest Lincoln making sure that they were well taking care of. Things were going smoothly until one day Rainey got her heart broken by a man named Crane Lord.

She left her hometown and family behind and moved to Las Vegas. She hadn't spoken to her family for four years then life knocked her down again and she found her way home to Jersey. Only to find out that her family was nearly destroyed and their family business wasn't doing well.

Raimey made it her mission to restore the Tanner family legacy but she was met with lots of resistance from her siblings who didn't seem to want nor need her help. Well according to them that was. She needed answers and the only one who could give them to her was the one she swore to stay away from. Crane Lord.

Crane Lord made the biggest mistake of his life when he let Raimey Tanner walked out of his life all those years ago. He'd always loved Raimey yet he did something that hurt her so deeply. Now that she was back in Jersey, he was going to do everything in his power to win her back.

Raimey might still hated Crane with a passion but she still loved him as well. Didn't matter how hard she tried pushing him away, he never wavered in his quest to own her heart.

Raimey found herself struggling to process everything she learned since she returned home. There were so many lies, deceit and betrayal and just when she thought she had all the answers she discovered an even bigger lie.

The members of the Tanner family had their problems but they loved each other, no matter what the enemy thought they could do to tear them apart. It may have worked for a while but it wouldn't last.

REPOSSESS is a family saga by Jennifer Foor. The book had me going through so many emotions at once, it made me laugh, cry, angry and swoon (Rainey and Crane were too HOT) ;). Jennifer Foor did an astonishing job. 5++++

Raimey Turner has about had it with men. She left Atlantic City for Vegas 4 years ago when she caught her ex-boyfriend Crane Lord cheating on her only to be heading back after catching her now ex-boyfriend, Jeffrey James, cheating on her with her roommate.

Yet as Raimey heads back she learns that nothing is the same as when she left 4 years ago and she has nothing to go back to. Some of her brothers are in jail while it appears others have turned their back on them. Yet at the center of everything seems to be Crane Lord who now runs a successful towing business like her family used to.

But coming back she vows that no one will lie to her anymore but it is apparent that everyone has secrets they are keeping. Will Raimey be able to get to the truth of everything when it looks like the only one attempting to help her is Crane, who hurt her more than anyone else ever has.

Will Raimey be able to forgive Crane or are there too many layers to his lies?

I really enjoyed this book. I was honestly never sure how many twists are turns were coming as it was one after another.

I loved Raimey. I found her strong yet so vulnerable as she began to learn everything that has gone on and for how long secrets were kept. I was just constantly amazed at how deep everything went but the book just kept sucking you in and really feeling for her and understanding everything she was going through.

Initially I definitely was not happy with Crane as I never knew his side of everything. That being said I liked how he really tried to give Raimey what she needed and gave her a place to live. By the end of the story I was in his corner but there were so many levels to everything.

The brothers were so interesting but all of them kept so many secrets that it's no wonder their family imploded. I am definitely looking forward to learning more about them in the next book by the author.

This book is definitely heavy at times but so enjoyable and I look forward to more from this author!

Repossess by Jennifer Foor was one of those books I couldn’t put down. This book kept me fully engaged and pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns.

Raimey Turner left home four years earlier after catching her boyfriend Crane Lord cheating. For the past four years she hasn’t had contact with her family until she decides to leave Vegas after another disastrous relationship with another cheating man and return home. What she returned home to was not what she left behind. Her family has fallen apart and they don’t want anything to do with her. The only person trying to reconnect with her is her ex, Crane Lord.

Her brothers have lost their thriving repo business and two of her brothers are no longer around. Her other brother wants her gone asap. No one is giving her any explanations or second chances. It appears that Crane Lord is behind it all. He runs a successful towing business like her family business once was. Crane is also the only one willing to help her even though he betrayed her years ago. Crane is determined to win Raimey back and will do everything in his power to gain her respect and win her heart. Raimey will have choices to make, one of those will be forgiving Crane. Is he worth investing her heart in once again?

As the story unfolds and the family secrets begin to surface, it will surprise the reader. The twists and turns throughout the story are anything but predictable. The relationship between Raimey and Crane was sizzling hot and emotional at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Repossess. I am hoping there will be some books coming featuring Raimey’s family.

I love Jennifer Foor's books and when I read the synopsis for Repossess, I couldn't wait to check it out. I did receive an ARC for honest review, but I pre-ordered the book too. I love second chance romances & I highly enjoyed this book. Raimey apparently had bad luck with guys, so she decided to surprise her brothers by coming back home after years of being in Vegas. However, she was in for the surprise of her life when she arrived. While she was away, things with her family had gone down hill. She had no idea what was going on & wanted answers. Answers that no one was giving her. Then in comes her ex, Crane, who she ran from all those years ago. She blames him for everything that has gone wrong while she was away, but things aren't really what she thinks they are. Everyone keeps telling her to drop it, but she wants answers.

I liked the chemistry between Raimey & Crane, however I do feel that Raimey gave in to easy to his charms at times. He just had to smile & she was putty in his hands. I liked that they were able to connect with each other & she was happy when she was with him. Raimey was quite back & forth with her emotions, but that was to be expected with the different pieces of info she kept finding out. However, when she found out what really happened, WHOA, it's something you never would have seen coming.

And that's what Jenn Foor is good at. She knows how to keep you glued into a story & then hits you with a jaw dropping twist. There were times I was so intrigued by what I was reading, that I blocked out whatever was going on around me, because I couldn't wait to see where the story was going. I wanted to know what happened with her brothers while she was away. I wanted to know Crane's involvement in all of it. I wanted answers too. LOL. In the end, I was totally shocked at what really happened. I literally just sat there & thought about it all & what I had just read. Yes, Jennifer Foor blows my mind with her writing. How she keeps coming up with these off the wall ideas is beyond me but I love it & I hope she keeps it up. If you like second chance romances, you should give this one a try.

This is a fun, sexy story about “second chances”.

You have Raimey Tanner, who has had her life turn upside down. She returns to her home town after being gone for 4 years, and she learns that everything that she once knew, is all wrong.

The reason she left was because of her ex, Crane Lord, slept with another girl while they were together. So she ups and moves away, leaving her four brothers to run the towing business, and she goes to Vegas to start over.

Fast forward 4 years, and she returns and has to learn of all the lies and betrayal that she knew had happened. She has brothers in prison, her ex, Crane, wants her back, but was also part of the lies.

The hate that Raimey has for Crane turns out to be some HOT and SEXY times. The chemistry between the two is undeniable.

Raimey is played off as being a “strong woman” in the story… I felt she was a pain in the butt. She is strong headed...

I loved Crane. Yes, he had done some wrong… but oh my… he can do all kinds of WRONG to me. LOL. He is a great guy that treats Raimey with love and respect, Raimey just doesn’t know what to do with it.

Can Raimey fix everything and move forward? Or is she still upset with everyone who lied to her?

At the end of the story, you find out that this will be a series, and you will find out more about the four brothers… I can’t wait.

Oh holy hell! What a ducking book. Jennifer Foor just took me for a ride. Repossess is full of crazy twists, turns and drama. I got sucked in and it just wouldn’t let me go. I was captivated, enslaved and read straight through from start to finish. I absolutely loved it. I’ve read her books in the past and been entertained but I think this is my favorite from her by far.

Raimey is tough, sarcastic and stubborn. She’s had to build a Teflon outer shell. At times I felt sorry for her, at times I couldn’t stand her, and sometimes I rooted for her while others I just wanted to shake some sense into her. Crane is successful, sexy and determined. I felt so bad for him for most of the story. He was definitely the underdog. These two are fully developed characters with complex backstories. They both have their own insecurities, strengths and flaws. And it all hangs out in all its glory. The secondary characters are just as complex and add a ton of depth to the book.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotion (if you couldn’t tell). The feels, man, the feels, I’m telling you they are there. There is a lot of drama in this book. It’s not angsty, just complicated family drama. It’s not over-the-top, it’s actually really well done. There’s also some great suspense. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I thought I would get more out of this than I did and I think that was because I found Raimey a little tough to connect with.
But I think my main issue was that before I started I thought that I would get it, she was the girl of the family, brought up in a male dominated household, this I could relate too but I just didn’t get the bond and I wanted too…I really didn’t .
She had been gone 4 years by the time she walked back into the house she had called home for so long, back in New Jersey after yet another disastrous relationship went belly up when her so called boyfriend cheated on her, but while she hasn’t really moved on since she left town, emotionally I think she was just a little immature in some respects, those she left behind weren’t the same and not everyone she thought she was going to find is present!
But while not everyone is happy to see her, her ex-boyfriend Crane was certainly glad to have her back in town and he set about ensuring that he was by her side every step of the story, and I wanted her to see that despite her having been away and despite the fact that she could and had done a darn sight worse than him, this was a guy that she needed to be honest with …read the book and you will see where I am coming from, the truth isn’t always the first thing from the lips of more than one of these characters.
I think I liked the story although I didn’t always like all of the characters, I liked Linc and I also like Crane but Raimey…not so much!
An addictive read that swept me away no matter how much I tried to fight it!

This was the first book of Jennifer Foor's I've read (what's taken me so long?) and I was hooked. I was reading this while at work and I just couldn't put it down - even when I was supposed to be writing reports to do today - because I just needed to hear Raimey's story. I will say that reading the blurb, I was convinced she would have these overbearing, alpha brothers but that wasn't really the case here.

Raimey has come home to New Jersey because yet another boyfriend has cheated on her. When she gets back to the house, she finds out all sorts of things aren't as they were when she left. Her brothers have lost the thriving repo business they had when she left, 2 of her brothers aren't around (I'm not telling WHY), one brother is doing his own thing and the last brother acts as if she's a huge P.I.T.A and he wants her G.O.N.E. But there is SO much more to this.

And then of course she meets her ex, Crane and sees what a success he has become. And Crane wants Raimey back. Now. He's determined to be by her side through everything that's going on and isn't going to let her run away again.

Such a grabbing story and you just feel for Raimey as she's going through all the trials of coming home again.

3 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!

This was an okay read for me. I wasn't thrilled with it nor did I hate it. It just was. It was entertaining for the the period of time that I read it but it didn't really stay with me. I first read it over a week ago. I thought I would hold off on my review for a couple of days because I wasn't too sure about my rating. I thought I would just stew on it for a while. Well, that right there is the problem. I totally forgot about the book. I didn't stew on anything. I had to go back this morning and skim through to refresh myself. It was only because of the re-read that I was able to decide on my rating.
After my first time around, I found Raimey a tad annoying. She claimed to be this badass but she just seem to complain all the time. Don't get me started on how quick she fell back in with Crane. After the second read, she was still annoying but I tolerated her more maybe because I knew what to expect from her. I don't know.
I know that may sound like a petty thing but I wasn't thrilled with either characters' names. They just didn't do anything for me.
It wasn't all doom and gloom though. Obviously, there was something in there that helped me get to the 3 stars. Well, that would be all the twists and turns. The suspense of the story is what kept me swiping pages. The overall storyline was the saving grace for me. Even in the second read and knowing what was going to happen, I still found myself swiping pages and glued to my kindle.
I've only read a few books by Jennifer Foor. She is an author I will definitely be giving another try .

From the start I fell in love with Raimey. I love her attitude, she is kickass. I was in stitches at her credit card revenge. I loved the fact she had older brothers; I love characters with overprotective brothers. BUT I didn’t really get that impression. When Raimey first went home I wanted to punch Tucker. He was cold towards her and although he had his reasons.
I will admit that there were a few times I struggled to connect with the story. But after sticking with it I enjoyed it. The twist and turns kept me on the edge of my seat and enthralled.
Although I struggled with parts of this book, I enjoyed it. Having read all of Jennifer Foors previous books, I would definitely say this is different. In my opinion Repossess is different to any other book of Jennifer’s.
One last thing: I adore the cover to this book!

After being cheated on yet again Raimey high tails it home. Brought up by her four older brothers she is tough as nails. Arriving home she is shocked to find the family business in a shambles. After learning her ex Crane had something to do with it, Raimey becomes determined for revenge.

Repossess by Jenn Foor grabbed my attention from the synopsis!

Raimey is the youngest of five, her mother was absent and her father died young leaving her four older brothers to raise her. She's a stubborn hard headed women who can hold her own! The family own and run a towing company with the help of childhood friend and Raimey's ex boyfriend, Crane.

With her heartbroken she flees to Las Vegas for a new start. Four years later she decides to head back home after having her heart broken by yet another boyfriend.

She hasn't seen or spoken to her brothers or Crane in four years but when she arrives home the reception she receives is not what she expected.... Everything and everyone has changed leaving Raimey shocked and hot headed. The more she tries to get revenge the more secrets and lies she unravels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, Raimey was a great character, stubborn, hot headed and she doesn't take shit. Crane holy hotness, I would have loved to have been in his head. Repossess is a steamy snd sexy read filled with lies, deceit and twists that keep coming.

I look forward to the next instalment of the Tanner family!

This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and I am seriously questioning why I have not found this amazing author before.
Raimey has been raised by her four brothers, and when she is left heartbroken she packs her bags and flees to LV for 4 years. When she makes the same mistake again with her love life, she returns home, only to find out that life there is in shambles. Crane who broke her heart to begin with, is determined that this time she will not get away from him, and he will win back her trust and heart.
This story is action packed with drama, betrayal, mystery, lies, humour, and most of all love. I highly recommend this authors work for all lovers of second chance romances. I cannot wait to read more of this authors work, and will be 1-clicking ASAP.

When Raimey comes home after four years things are definitely not how she left them. There are twists, turns and lies all over the place. It was certainly a page turner to find out what happens next.

My only complaint was I wanted a bit more from the couple. Yes, the sex was hot and there was no doubt in my mind that Crane loved Raimey but for some reason I just felt there was something missing. It is part of a series, so maybe we'll get more updates from the couple as there story just felt incomplete.

Amazing new series

Jennifer Foor has hit this one out of the park! This book was amazing and beyond what expected. The Tanner family seems out of control, and is in need of getting control.
I had mixed signals of Crane until the truth came out. Raimey is one tough girl. With everything she has been through I'm surprised she didn't break down and shoot people.
Can't wait for the next book!

Raimey was pretty much raised by her four brothers so being around men, she was use to, but when she caught her boyfriend Crane cheating, heartbreak sent her away for four years, and heartbreak by another cheating boyfriend has brought her back home, but home isn't like it use to be, in fact nothing is as it seems. Crane has the love he lost four years ago back, he will do what he has to prove to her he isn't like the punk four years ago, but will all lies that surface cause her run again?.

I feel like we came into this book in the middle. Raimey comes home after another relationship disaster only to encounter the remainder of her last one. The one that has shaped her up until this point. But we're not told about it, we're not given details about it, it's like its inconsequential but it's not.
I feel the romance in this book was lacking, as were details about her brother's troubles. Everything was kept kind of neat when that wasn't the case. I think there was a real opportunity to get real and gritty and really get into an unhappy family life, but that didn't happen. I loved the imperfections of this family but I think more could've been done.

This is one of those books that drove me nuts but I just couldn't stop reading it. I just wanted to smack Raimey and tell her to grow up. Any time there was a hick-up in her life, she ran. The first time, she not only ran, but she stopped all contact with her family for 4 years. Four long years. Now she is back, things aren't like she left them, and she is determined that she will make things right again. That's easier said then done.

The thing that got me in the story was the lies. She has been told so many lies. Lies that started years ago and kept building. Lies that changed her life forever. Just when you thought everything was out in the open, you'd find out there was another lie being told. With everyone close to her lying, it would be hard to not feel like leaving them all behind. At times, I really thought she might be better off alone again.
