We're excited to announce that our Welsh Film Preview Days will now be a TWO day event with Rare Beasts, The Toll, Eternal Beauty (Directed by Craig Roberts, premiered at London Film Festival) and Nuclear (Directed by Catherine Linstrum, premiered at Warsaw International Film Festival) added to the line up:

  • Tuesday 26th November - Day one: starts 9:00am – ends 5:00pm

  • Wednesday 27th November - Day two: starts 9:00am – ends 3:10pm

Evening refreshments will be made available (26th November) for any attendees staying overnight and Galeri will have a theatre performance and a film playing that evening to choose from (futher details will be provided in the Film Packs for this event which attendees will receive via email in advance).

*Please note that the schedule may be still subject to change due to the availability/confirmation of additional films – we will notify you of any such changes (via email), no later than one week prior to each event date.

**If you have already registered to attend, we will contact you separately (via email) to confirm whether you will attend one or both days. Should you need to book accommodation in advance, we suggest reserving those with a free cancellation policy.

Our Welsh Film Preview days are back! 2020 is going to be a big year for films with Welsh connections.

Join us as 'down on his luck' Welshman (Rafe Spall) travels across Europe to get himself arrested in Denmark and Welsh journalist Mr. Jones (James Norton) breaks the news of the Soviet Union famine in the early 1930s.

What is a Welsh Film Preview Day?

Film Hub Wales celebrates Welsh heritage on screen. As part of our Made in Wales strategy, we offer support to organisations across Wales to programme Welsh made, Welsh language or Welsh archive films.

Join us for this year's Welsh Film Preview Days, to find out about upcoming Welsh releases and connect with other exhibitors.


What happens at a Welsh Film Preview Day?

There will be full film screenings, preview clips and time to talk with other Welsh exhibitors. You can also talk to us about Made in Wales support and other BFI FAN projects.

You will be provided with a film pack with details of upcoming Welsh film releases, which includes booking terms, contacts, release dates and Welsh connections to help you market the film.

This event is exclusively for members of Film Hub Wales and Film Hubs around the UK. Lunch will be provided along with tea and coffee.

Cynhelir dangosiadau ffilm llawn, clipiau rhagdddangos ac amser i siarad gydag arddangoswyr eraill o Gymru. Gallwch hefyd sgwrsio gyda ni am gefnogaeth Gwnaethpwyd yng Nghymru a phrosiectau FAN BFI eraill.

Fe fyddwch yn derbyn pecyn ffilm gyda manylion am ffilmiau Cymreig sydd ar fin cael eu rhyddhau, yn cynnwys telerau archebu, cysylltiadau, dyddiadau rhyddhau a chysylltiadau Cymreig i’ch helpu i farchnata’r ffilm.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn ar gyfer aelodau Canolfan Ffilm Cymru yn unig, ac aelodau Canolfannau Ffilm ar draws y DU. Darperir cinio yn ogystal â the a choffi.
