4.5 stars of treasure-hunting goodness. Whilst I'm not overfond of the billionaire trope, I didn't find it a problem in this book. I think that's due to the light-hearted rom-com element. Whilst the books are not necessarily packed with laugh-out-loud moments, they are very witty, well written and highly entertaining. Best of all the humour is very organic, having a very natural and unforced feel to it. I've read quite a few books by this author now and have never been disappointed. Whilst she has a distinctive style, every plot is unique and each set of characters is fresh. Hallie has appeared in both Perfect Match and Christmas with the Billionaire, though you really don't need to have read either book to enjoy this one. She is a really strong and well organised character, but has the same worries and insecurities as the rest of us. Hallie is immensely likeable and is a key feature of what makes this book so good. We don't get as many chapters from Max's POV, just enough to really get a feel of him. Despite appearing to be a jet setting playboy, he's actually quite a sweet and slightly insecure man. I loved how he developed and grew during the story. The pair are amazing together, their chemistry is intense and was really believable. Even as the lines blurred for them in their pretend relationship, they blurred for me too. This couple were made for each other and certainly steamed up my kindle! If you're looking for a fun, captivating, well written and totally enjoyable read then I highly recommend this book as one to try.

5 Star Review of VIP (Billionaire Bachelors Book 1) by Lila Monroe This is book one in Lila Monroe’s new series Billionaire Bachelors and if this book is any indication I think she has another winning series on her hands. This is the story of smoking hot Max Carlisle who is the heir to a media empire and Hallie Gage who is an up and coming photographer who through no fault of her own has landed in some troubled waters. When an intriguing offer is put to Hallie, to act as his fake girlfriend for 7 days will she take a risk and accept? After all what trouble could she get into? VIP (Very Irresistible Playboy) is full of laugh out loud moments which had me almost in tears not to mention is as hot as hades. I thoroughly enjoy the romantic comedy genre and Lila Monroe is an excellent example of an author who knows what she is doing. I adore her style of writing and found her characters to be captivating. I love Hallie her confidence and sass was easily a match for the self confident and highly appealing Max.Their chemistry was electrifying.and the secondary characters were almost as entertaining. This was a rollicking read full of great moments that really brought a smile to my face and one that I really didn’t want to put down. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. One click now you will not be disappointed.

Man Candy is book 4 in the Billionaire Bachelors Series by Lila Monroe and I have to say this series just keeps getting better with each book this very talented author brings out. Alice Jones might love bring the office manager but deep down she has always wanted to try her hand at being out on assignment with one of her firms clients and she is just about to get her chance by becoming the fake fiancée of billionaire PI Nick who is looking into chocolate espionage. What starts out as a fake relationship turns into so much more can Alice and Nick go back to a professional relationship once boundaries have been crossed..... This book has it all, it’s funny, it’s got a few twists and turns, it’s mysterious and it has characters that you can’t help falling in love with. I loved the sizzling chemistry and the banter between Alice and Nick and I highly recommend this funny romance that left me smiling like a Cheshire Cat. Looking forward to hopefully more in this series of stand-alone billionaires
