I was excited to read this one because I've liked Dante since he showed up in the Sidewinders books. But this book...it was tough to get through and it was all due to Becca. My god!!! She was such a prude and embarrassed about so much sexual stuff! It was hard to understand for me, because what we have seen of her in the Sidewinder books never came off that way. I could understand her having one freak out, but it was one after another, after another, after another. I would have been exhausted had I been Dante, to keep saying "there, there, it will be all right". Dante even had help in from those that knew Becca, heck even her mom was more sexually liberated that Becca.

By the end of the book, I was glad that things worked out for them, but I was also very glad to be done with the book too.

This is a hard one for me to write, but at the end of the day this book was hard for me to get through. The characters were too much for me, and I found myself rolling my eyes and the dialogue and actions of the hero. Additionally, I was unsure if the booo promoted sexual freedom or condemned it, as the hero and secondary character promoted it and the heroine condemned it. The suspense aspect and subsequent rescue was too much for me, as it didn't seem to be authentic and came out of left field.

There are a lot of steamy scenes and the writing was decent, but at the end of the day my lack of connection to the characters just hurt my overall enjoyment of the book.

Dante was broken. He was kind caring and thoughtful but broken. He lost his best friend because of the fiancee that died as well. He was great at playing ball. He was great at numbing pain. He didn’t feel he could love someone. Except Becca. Becca made him whole. From the first encounter where they had to step away until he was free. When he saw her again he took charge. He went in feet first. All out and he fell head over heals. It wasn’t a easy road. Becca is a great person but she was very insecure and questioned everything. She felt he didn’t want to take care of her. She felt that she would be rolled over and only do what Dante wanted. What was worse is she would hold it in and than get frustrated and lash out. Dante was patient. He was understanding.

When some things were leaked Becca would react and lash out. She got frustrating over time. She was a good character but very frustrating. I loved how Dante was always there to take care of her even if she didn’t see it. Just like she didn’t see the pain she would put her mom in every time she lashed out. Becca was so insecure and was just lost on herself. It was Dante that helped lift her up. when Becca would get on her moral soapbox it was hard to see not because it was bad but just hard because she was hard on everyone around her the most at those times. She didn’t realize how she sounded until the end with Randy and hearing it from someone else.

Overall it was a good book. We see love struggle and fight through it. We see two people heal one another and find strength and peace with themselves. A wonderful story that will have you feel for Dante and hope he finds the one to turn himself around and he does in Becca.

Salvation's Inferno by Kat Mizera is a white hot romance with BDSM elements and mystery and intrigue that Kat does so well. Dante Lamonte is the poster boy for the bad boy of baseball but when he loses his world in one tragic accident. Dante is lost and not able to focus on anything except an encounter with Becca Hernandez from before the accident. With mutual friends, Dante is destined to see Becca but he never felt the need, the draw to someone to protect and love with all his soul. Becca works hard and is successful in a male dominated industry. Image is everything and Becca questions her tendencies towards kink bringing her own moral standard into play. Falling for Dante puts everything into question but will she come out stronger on the other side?

Salvation's Inferno is a spin off from Kat's Las Vegas Sidewinders series. We met Dante and see what happens to his friends/family in Zack's book. I enjoyed the interplay with the Sidewinder's characters throughout the story since I've read the Sidewinders series. Dante was a swoon worthy hero of the story. I understood his pain and why he was drawn to Becca. Dante's need to protect and care for her. Becca was another story. I found her character week and very naive for a 27 y/o women working in a male dominated field. Her wishy washy decisions irked me. I do have to admit Kat can write a vivid, smoking hot & panty melting sex scene not for the faint at heart. I honestly needed a cold shower after a scene at Club Inferno. Through out the story I was drawn to a sub-characters, Jamie's, story-line and I can't wait to read his story and see how it progresses. It's not a perfect start to the series but it was a solid start. 4 Stars for Salvation's Inferno by Kat Mizera

my decision on a rating for this one was difficult but i eventually decided on a firm four. at the start of the story i really did not like Becca and had some problems immersing myself in the storyline. I almost didn't stick with it, but eventually it came together and i quite enjoyed it.
I also appreciated the preface of author notes acknowledging that her writing is purely for entertainment and therefore in a lot of ways not realistic. mmm... and the teaser at the end ...... Jamie & Viggo's story is looking good .....

A sports romance with BDSM elements...on paper this is one of my ideal, go to tropes...indeed there was much that I really did like about this book ...the plot was interesting and the story moved at a fast pace.....interspersed with a lot of hot, steamy scenes, indeed there is no doubt that this author really knows how to write about sex with a touch of erotica..

I loved the well developed characters and their backstory, from another series by the same author ....the friendship and love between them all was charming.... furthermore the relationship between the two main characters was at times romantic and sweet....but here is the thing although this should have been an enjoyable experience in the end I was left dissatisfied for the following reasons...

Firstly, the female antagonist, a strong, successful woman is portrayed as being sexually naive and unfulfilled but talks openly about sexual matters in settings and with people that seemed unlikely and inappropriate... furthermore many of her decisions and reactions were based purely on her selfish needs and professional status regardless of anyone else's feelings..

Secondly the male antagonist, a dominant, successful sports star, who has suffered a great personal tragedy, appears to be reckless in terms of the commitment he puts into his relationships.....and in addition he appears to have some trust issues but conversely is willing to explore the sexual fantasies of his partner regardless of the content...I can not say anymore without giving the plot away...needless to say, in my opinion, the two main characters were not believable or particularly endearing and in the end this spoiled my enjoyment...

Overall this book was a well written romantic and sexy read but unfortunately there were too many faults with the main characters and the scenario's they were placed in for me to really find it enjoyable...I finished the story but sadly I was disappointed

I really struggled to rate this book. I didn’t enjoy the first third, I really dislike the notion of someone knowing someone better than themselves and then forcing them to grow, that is an inherently disempowering process and if this was a stand alone I probably would have DNF’d. I also don’t want to unfairly rate it as generally I avoid BDSM and I knowingly read this book because I really wanted Dante and Becca’s story as they are such a key part of the sidewinder family. That said I really enjoyed the openness, acceptance and resilience they showed as a couple as well as all the side characters. A touching epilogue and despite the rollercoaster all the way to the end their HEA feels rock solid

Holy WOW! What a trip this book was. From the first sentence to the very end, this book had me on the edge of my seat. First a warning…. This book is not for the faint of heart, it explores serious BDSM, and broken people. But written in such a way that you route for them to heal and fall in love.

Dante lost everything, his best friend, his unborn child and his fiancée. (This all happens in a previous book but you get enough backstory to understand.) He is in a broken depression, drinking, sex with anyone just to feel anything and self-destruction. It is the girl who asked him to give her, her first orgasm that put him back on track.

After that one night, Becca could not stop thinking about Dante. Even after the deaths of his fiancée and best friend, she could not bring herself to stop. When an unexpected Christmas meeting at a mutual friend’s house brings them back together, sparks fly.

One of the sexiest books I’ve read this year, Dante is one Hot Alpha… The HEA is just too good. I cannot wait to get my hands on Jamie and Viggo’s story!

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

This book was definitely NOT what I expected and definitely NOT a whole lot of sports romance. I was a bit confused and tried very hard to finish reading. It was hard to follow at times but if you're into the. BDSM, this is your book.

Over all I enjoyed this book. I liked the hero and heroine (yes she seemed selfish at times but she makes Dante happy so I forgave her for this!), the plot was good and the writing style was easy to read.

This isn't something I would normally do but I am going to address some issues raised by other reviewers. Several mentioned Becca's immaturity and total over-the-top reaction to some events. Yes I did want to give her a shake and tell her to grow up at this point HOWEVER the author does 'explain' and deal with this later in the book. Stick through Becca being a touch annoying by constantly rejecting her relationship with Dante, her excuse of it affecting her career is what she tells herself .... the truth eventually emerges and it makes her reactions believable.

I would also disagree that Becca going to a sex club wasn't believable - she was mainly inexperienced due to thinking she wasn't good enough to attract men and didn't trust them. Being shy doesn't mean you don't like sex or kink.

The chemistry between Becca and Dante was so hot and the BDSM scenes were really nicely written. I enjoy BDSM in a book, but not when authors seem to want to humiliate the heroine whilst portraying the scene. That didn't happen in this book, I felt Dante was really caring and concerned about Becca's welfare throughout.

The pace of the book is really good and there were some very unexpected twists and turns to the plot. I haven't read the 'Sidewinders' series, so I struggled to place some characters , but overall this can be read as a stand alone book.

I for one will be reading more books in both this series and other series' by the author.

Oh boy, this one knocked it straight out of the park for me, I mean what the heck is there not to love about a story that is sports based (I love a great sport romance) and that is more than willing to dip its toes (and other bits) into BDSM! WooHoo!!!
The characters were complete, I felt as if I reading about grownups, people who were doing what they wanted, pleasing and pleasuring themselves and each other and oh my did this author know how to get the steam factor hitched up to max!!
The storyline that developed between Becca and Dante was just staggering.
Dante was so complex, on one hand he was this dominant alpha male, but on the other hand I wanted to wrap my arms around him to comfort the part of his heart that I think was totally devastated by a loss that almost defied comprehension. Trouble seems to follow him like a cloud at times but this time I was praying that he would find someone to show him that a future isn’t to be found at the bottom of a bottle or in the arms of a hooker, could Becca be the woman to save him from himself?
Becca was the head or Media Relations for the Sidewinders and has worked her butt off to get to where she is today, and when she first met Dante at the infamous Club Inferno in New York, neither of them were in the right frame of mind to take the night any further than that initial contact, he had responsibilities to live up to and she had a career that she had worked too hard to see side-lined by scandal.
But what about now?
The connection between the two of the was really great, it was given enough wiggle room to encourage it to spread its wings and explore. They both just had to find the will to make it work. I wasn’t sure that Becca could but I hoped that she would, I also wanted to see if with her around Dante would be able to drag himself from the depths of despair that he seemed destined to occupy without the right b=person to help him see that he had more to give.
There are so many emotions portrayed by both characters as the book progressed, that it was hard keeping track of where they both were and that was only exasperated at times by Becca and her ability to confuse the ar*e out of the situation, she seemed to overthink things too much and that was a little wearisome. But the depth of intrigue, the passion that was pulsing through each and every sentence, the pain and suffering, I could go on and on there was so much it was overwhelming!!!
I was knee deep in this book before even realised that I hadn’t moved in over an hour! completely hooked and totally non-repentant at the fact I had spent my morning being totally swept away and had done nothing that I had planned, this was worth every disparaging look that was cast my direction, I gasped, I blushed, I winced…this had all the feels and I simply loved it.

Baseball star Donte Lamonte is a very broken mane. The horrific double murder took his pregnant Fiancée and his best friend away from him. He is reeling from the loss of his baby. He drowns his sorrows in women and alcohol never finding the relief he craves.
Becca Hernandez is the media consultant for the Las Vegas hockey team, the Sidewinders. She also seems to have the worse luck with men. She is a very sweet, independent woman. She loves her job and loves that it gives her and her mom the security they need. She has a one night stand which is very out of character for her, she also feels that the man is way out of her league. Dante took her out her comfort zone, i mean hello they did meet at a sex club. Even though she knows nothing can come out of their one night stand she loved every minute of what he did to her.
Their paths will cross again soon and they can't resist each other. As one night turns into much more they both struggle to find their footing in a new relationship. Dante’s demons and their night of passion comes out in the open it could end before it even really begins. Can love be their only Salvation or is their to much damage?

Becca and Dante have this amazing Chemistry. It starts with their one night together and they way they can't get each other out their heads. I will be honest there's sometimes where you can get a bit lost in the back story of you haven't read Kat Mizera Sidewinders series, but it's not too bad. That is a good series and highly recommended. I loved this cover, i feel like the cover model shows such intense pain. Like he is waiting for his Salvation from the pain. Becca, what a woman, she is strong, caring, has a sassy side, and is loving. She helps her mom but is such a workaholic that i feel like Dante is the perfect person to help her find a balance in her life. I loved the connection she has with her mom. It was so beautiful to see. When this story opened and you see a broken Dante i just knew that i was in for an emotional ride that would sink its claws so deep i would be gutted. The way Dante lost his best friend and baby left me reeling. I just had to put my kindle down and take a moment to myself. I can totally see why he was trying to downing in his pain. The way Becca and Dante have this connection from the start you know with all their insecurities that it will be an uphill battle. Kat Mizera is an amazing author. I look forward to her books.

Salvations Inferno (Inferno book 1) by Kat Mizera
Kat has been entertaining us for a while now with the Sidewinders series, which is phenomenal. This new series Inferno is in a whole new level.
I was reading along and decided to see how far along I was in the book because so much had happened I didn’t want the adventure to end and guess what? I was only at 10% through the book. Holy sh*t, there was so much going on that I thought the book was completed. NO!!!! is wasn’t.
This installment centers around baseball bad-boy Dante Lamonte, who we met in the Sidewinders series. Trouble seems to find him everywhere he goes. When we meet, him he is in a downward spiral since his fiancé, unborn child and Trey, manager, where killed. He spends his time getting wasted and hiring hookers to get numb enough to survive his feelings.
Rebecca Hernandez, head of Media Relations for the Sidewinders. She is young, independent, sassy, insecure, and sexy as hell everything that we have come to expect from Kat’s characters. Becca has taken care of her mother after her dad left and has worked hard for where she is today.
Dante and Becca met on summer day at Club Inferno, a BDSM club in New York and let this night as a onetime shot. They decided to go their separate ways because Dante had a fiancé and baby on the way. Becca didn’t want to have her career put into jeopardy by being seen in a sex club. Becca’s insecurities play havoc through this book and leads to several issues.
Betrayal, intrigue, love, sex, lies, torture, insecurity, and lust. These emotions hit you from the very first chapters and keep you turning the pages. As usual I will not be going into the details of what goes on because once I start I know I won’t be able to stop. Just know there is a lot of unexpected twist that I didn’t see coming and betrayal that runs deep.
This standalone book leaves us with some new directions that leave this reader eager to read the next book in the series. If you loved the Sidewinders series hold on for this next series and be prepared to go to a whole new level. These books will grab you from the beginning and offers their readers the best ride I have been on in a long time.
PLEASE READ!!!

First, I have to say that read Karl (Las Vegas Sidewinders #3) before I read Salvation's Inferno, so I had a lot of the back story and it added to my enjoyment of this book.

Dante Lamonte is a baseball superstar who is dealing with the murder of his pregnant fiancée and his best friend about six months earlier. Becca Hernandez is head of media relations for the Las Vegas Sidewinders hockey team. She works 60 to 80 hours a week, feels like her mother’s caretaker, and has no social life. But she did have that one night stand with Dante six months ago where she fell in love with him. Dante had also fallen for her, but this was while he was still engaged so he knew it was going nowhere. When they met up again at a Christmas party in Las Vegas, they start up a relationship.

Becca’s father deserted her and her mother when Becca was 14 and she worked hard to get where she is today – a successful career and owning her the house where she lives with her mother. She is very insecure, doesn’t trust anyone to put her first, and instead of talking things through Becca reacts first and thinks it through later. After a while she was just annoying for most of the book.
Dante was amazing. He knows Becca is who he wants as a life partner and has to work through her insecurities. He is talented, wealthy, famous and good looking. She feels out of his league. He does everything imaginable to address her issues.

I thought the prologue was a bit over the top, especially the first few paragraphs. But then I was really into the story and all the issues the author explored. Becca enjoyed an experience at a sex club and then had all these self-doubts about how she should feel about what she had done; I liked the way that was handled. And I can’t say enough about how I love Dante, loved him in the book Karl, love him even more in his own book.

The blurb for this book really caught my eye, unfortunately it didn't live up to my high hopes. The premise for "Salvation's Inferno" is good and the Hero, Dante Lamonte, is strong, sympathetic, and Alpha. The Heroine, Becca Hernandez, regrettably is weak, whiny, wishy-washy, and her immense insecurities bring down the story and the pace. I can't count how many times my eyes rolled due to the heroine's antics. This is a stand alone novel, however Dante's backstory seems to have begun in another Kat Mizera book. Dante's backstory: the murder of his fiancée, unborn child, and best friend, occurred in one of her Sidewinders books. Consequently, this required me to play quite a bit of catch up. On the upside, there are some super hot sex scenes. The euphoria of the sex scenes are undone by the Heroine's "wow this is fun/wow I'm a big whore" histrionics.
I want to like the book more but I just can't get over this Heroine. She's high-strung, prudish, and pouts "no-one-takes-care-of-me" but demands, "I-don't-want-you-to-take-care-of-me". Make up your mind! Dante's in love and there are no if-ands-or-buts to it. He's more patient than human mind can comprehend and goes to extreme measures to fix Becca's problems. Even affecting another persons personal and professional life. Becca does not appreciate Dante nearly enough. If the Heroine had been stronger and the backstory action was a prologue I could have, perhaps, loved this book. Unfortunately this wasn't the case.

A little unconventional and a whole lot of HOT! This book wasn't any at all like I was expecting. It was much edgier than I expected. This was my first book from Kat Mizera. I must admit, I sort of struggled with the first half of this book. I don't normally enjoy third person writing and there were things about the characters that I just didn't get and I wasn't really feeling all the feels. But she sure brought it all around in the second half of the book! It didn't dawn on me until much later in the book that she did such a great job of creating well-rounded, multi-dimensional characters.

So, what are you going to find in this book? Dante is a super-sexy, Alpha, possessive dirty talker who speaks terms of endearment in Spanish. Get ready for your ovaries to explode. Becca is sexually inexperienced and a little bit insecure, but don't worry. Dante is going to fix all of that! I also loved that she is portrayed as a sexy woman with curves. Because sexy comes in all shapes and sizes. You can also look forward to a sex club, some light BDSM and hot threesome scene. Not to mention Becca's sex conversations with her mother are EPIC! Throw in some intense and shocking twists, lots of passion and you have yourself a good book!

Note: This book is a spin-off of her Las Vegas Sidewinders series. It is a stand-alone so you don't have to read anything else to enjoy it, but you will probably understand some of Dante's past a little better if you have read that series, or at least Karl.

Oh My Freaking God that was hot! I mean like hot as Hades.
This is the first book by Kat Mizera I have read. But god I
am so ready for book two. This was so well written and told
so well it just flowed.

This book is about Becca and Dante. Becca is well lake of a
better word, but she is a prude. And that is not a bad thing
some people are made to think their sexuality is bad, even
when there is really nothing wrong with them. She is pent up
and it is going to take a sexy as sin Dante to pull her out of
her shell. But oh what fun he and she will have. What she is
not aware of is she is submissive in bed and craves it. That
is when Dante makes one of her fantasies come true. After
one torrid night it all starts to fall apart because a holler than
though jerk release pictures of their special night. I mean I
am a god fearing person but this person went too far. And I
was so shocked by who it was. Really did not see that one
coming. I thought this person was nice and nothing showed
as them being bad.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope
you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this
book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really
like it when you do; they value your opinions too.

This book was a struggle to finish. I just kept putting it down to do other things which I rarely do once I start a book. It's supposed to be a sports romance, but belongs as book one in a sex club series. I guess for me it's all over the place. There's a huge back story that I've missed as I've only read this book. Somewhere along the line the hero has had a whole thing happen to him and prior to that he had a thing with the heroine.

They reconnect, its sudden and rearing to go from one to a thousand in one or two nights together. The heroine is annoyingly back and forth on her sexuality and her relationship with the hero which is very frustrating and detracts from the story line. Then out of the blue there is a kidnapping, abuse and while it is resolved nothing happens from it. It was all very odd and out of place. I found myself skimming the "good bits" because they were repetitive and added no value to the overall plot. I was simply underwhelmed 🙃

I was excited to read this book, sports, some BDSM, a hot alpha. Then I actually got into the book and really didn't like either main character. They didn't seem believable enough together or separate. I struggled to like them and even understand them.

The plot was good, that I did enjoy. The light BDSM that was tossed in was okay too. But I wish they were different people. Yes, they were perfect for each other. They balanced each other. Which they both needed badly. Neither Dante or Becca had a long term relationship so this is a learning curve for them. It was a struggle, one that I wish I didn't need to be part of.

There were times in the book that I was confused on how Becca acted. She obviously isn't a virgin, but she isn't a whore either. But some of the stuff she demands seems rather selfish and childish. Maybe it was just me. But this book didn't hook me, I forced myself to finish it. What saved it for me was the steamy scenes and the background of the characters.

Salvation Inferno by Kat Mizera. This is the first book of Kat’s new series called the “Inferno” series which is a spin off from some of the Characters that you meet in her Las Vegas Sidewinder series. Dante Lamonte is one of the best baseball players in the league who has been through a horrible tragedy that resulted in the death of his unborn child and his future wife along with his lifetime best friend. Becca Hernandez is the PR person for the Las Vegas Sidewinder’s hockey team and does not have very good luck with men. One night Becca decides to have a one night stand and meets Dante. Dante & Becca have an immediate connection but she knows nothing can come of it so she tries to move on until their path crosses again. What will happen between the two? Will they be able to handle everything that is thrown at them? You will have to read the book to find out! This book had some violence in it and there was a lot of sexual content, there are many scenes that are described in detail but I did not have a problem with any of them. This book was very well written and was a very quick and easy read. I absolutely loved this book and had a hard time setting it. I highly recommend it this book!

This is my first book from this author and I look forward to reading more from her.

This is a 4 Star read for me...the plot was good, it is a sports romance and was full of some s steamy scenes.

The main characters were developed and come from some interesting pasts. At times I loved them and other times I was a little frustrated because there was a lot of back and forth that I found a little redundant. The main characters are Becca and Dante and both are flawed but so full of life and love that you just know that there has to be a HEA for them. I will not tell you if there is or not you have to read to find out. Know that this story is full of twists and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.

The writing is fabulous, the author has some great secondary characters that I look forward to reading more about, if you are looking for a sports romance with a bit of suspense then this is the book for you!!

I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book for Rockstar Book Muse

I was a little conflicted with Salvations inferno I enjoyed it and thought the characters were interesting , the sex scenes were super hot , and the story line was unique . But my mind wasn't in it I had a lot going on while reading this so I will defiantly be going back and re reading it and most likely changing this review also have not read previous books so I was a little lost so I will be reading those before I do my re read . The characters had off the charts chemistry that leaves you breathless , the hero story is really sad and when he meets the heroine he becomes the person that he use to be not the shell of a man , I like the heroine but I also at times could't connect with her again my opinion might change when I have a clearer head . Over all the story line drew me and had all the emotions that I look for in a book

Who is Dante? Who are Larissa and Trey to him? Who are Emilie and Kate? How do they all know one another? What does Dantie do for a living? Who is Becca? What has been happening for Dante over the last six months? Why does he go to Las Vegas? Oh my, Dante is devious when coming up with punishments!! During a scheduled meeting in NYC, what fantasy comes true for Becca? Who are Russ, Randy, and Joe? What do we learn about each of them? WHat happens that nearly breaks ZBecca? Read and see! I LOVED this story!

This is the first book by this author that I have read. After finishing this book, I went looking for more. After I read the book, I found out it is a spin off of her Sidewinder series (the first of which is free). I'll be starting that one later this week.

There were a few times that I felt I was missing something. Finding out that this is a spin off helped. There were a few scenes that a lot of drama seemed to be happening but we weren't given many details. I am assuming that this book is supposed to be occurring at the same time and that was why. The fact that such a huge event was barely mentioned once and then never resolved in this book bugged me.

Like I said in the first paragraph, I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author. If you have read the Sidewinder series, I feel you will really enjoy this book. If you haven't, it's still a good book to relax with.

Loved it

Great start to the new Inferno series. Becca works Public relations for the Vegas Sidewinders hockey team, while she is visiting NYC she meets Dante Lamonte, a professional baseball player at a sex club and they have a one night stand that neither can forget. But Dante is a typical bad boy who is recovering from a personal tragedy and Becca is a workaholic with no experience with men like him. When they meet again at a mutual friend's holiday party can they take up where they left off or are their live too different to make it work? I cant wait to see what the next book brings

This book really started out with a bang, so that gave me high hopes. Dante was coming off of losing his best friend, his fiancée and his unborn son, he was in a dark place.

Becca was naïve and busy with her demanding career but couldn't get her one night with Dante out of her mind.

6 months after their night together then meet up at a Christmas party and the sparks fly (again, but I wish we saw their first time)...but had different ideas of why they hadn't seen each other/talked to each other since. It was nice seeing a little bit of drama.

There is lots of sex, and BDSM in it. Becca wants to try all sorts of things so of course Dante is more then willing to help out. You can always tell how much they are attracted and care about the other which is always nice to see.

My problem comes where I don't buy that she is THAT naïve and she comes across often times as selfish. I just had a hard time relating to her character, PLUS, I thought this was a sports romance but we didn't get much of the sports.
