We pay the state and county to spread salt for winter ice and snow. It's far more harmful than a little bit of rock dust. Yet salt isn't viable to the naked eye. So barely and complaints. I understand it was an issue that was good to sort out, but what does a $2,500 fine do? Where does that money go? Is it helping the environment? Or simply harming a business that had something fail on them? If MDE rolled in and inspected and that's all the issues they could find, I would say they are doing a pretty good job at operating safely and environmentally. I hate it when government comes in and penalizes good folks for a simple mistake. Especially when you find out that the fine only serves to pay for the overhead of said government agency and their cover your butt paperwork.
Actually they used to have a full edition for Mondays but cut back to this smaller edition.
Soon this won't be a violation. Trump wants to eliminate ALL EPA regulations. Not some, or more recent ones but ALL.
That was my thought too.
Really? This is the headliner?
When you buy the paper then you can dictate what is the headliner.
