MEDREG boosts Mediterranean cooperation
An exclusive forum on 19 September in Brussels about the progress made in integrating Mediterranean electricity and energy markets.

REVOLVE is pleased to invite you to attend the Mediterranean Energy Regulators (MEDREG) conference called: “MEDREG’s support to energy regulatory reforms in the Southern Mediterranean: What have we achieved?”.
This full-day conference addresses ongoing and forthcoming energy reforms in southern Mediterranean countries that will take place on Thursday 19 September 2019, in Brussels (Belgium) at the Hotel NH Brussels EU Berlaymont.
This event proposes to share some of the successes achieved in the last two years, through the voice and testimonies of MEDREG’s regulatory members from Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Morocco and Palestine.
The day will begin with the participation of Ms. Gülefşan Demirbaş, MEDREG President, and Mrs. Anne-Charlotte Bournoville, Head of International Relations and Enlargement, DG Energy, European Commission.
The program will continue with presentations from representatives of the national regulatory agencies illustrating examples of opening the national electricity markets and making the case for the implementation of renewables in national markets.
Speakers will also present tariff and regulatory strategies to protect consumers, and actions to connect gas infrastructure for domestic use.
