Love their tamales!! A little more pricey than most dozens I've ever bought but they're so good and year round! My kids also love their Pan dulce!

WORTH CHECKING OUT!
We were driving through the area when we decided to check out this Mexi-market. Sometimes we just wander into a new place looking to try something new and other times we might be looking for something specific like fresh peppers. This store is a nice size and has everything from fresh meats and seafood to everyday staples, sauces, snacks and produce. Some of the produce was way past its prime so choose wisely.
The meat/seafood department was surprisingly well stocked with fresh products so this is a "must shop". There were some prepared items, (carnitas), available in the meat area but they did not appear fresh so I would not necessarily recommend them.
Overall, this little market is just the ticket if you are looking for authentic Mexican groceries and yes you can purchase your Playboy here :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Curt A.Alpharetta, GA2143Mar 28, 2015Updated review
Still diggin this place. Nice people, great products, a full line of Goya and other top brands, love the bagged spices that you can't get anywhere. And fresh carnitas!
However....i couldn't find any enchilada sauce. I brought one guy over, he couldn't find it, he brought the butcher over, he couldn't find it, he brought the other butcher over and he couldn't find it, and finally the owner heard the commotion and he looked and looked and finally declared "we must be out of it". To which I replied, but where would it be, to wit..he had NO ANSWER. SILENCE. "You dont carry enchilada sauce???? SILENCE.
A mercado that doesn't sell enchilada sauce. Hora le pues! Santa maria! Oye como va!
Seems weird doesn't it? That's like a Chinese store not carrying Oyster sauce, or a Korean store with no kim chee! How the heck does that happen?
SILENCE. They weren't out of it. There was no empty space on the shelf where it shoulda been!
HA! They dont carry it. All that stuff and no enchilada sauce, and apparently no one ever told em.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 22, 2015Previous reviewStill diggin on the fresh carnitas every weekend out of the butcher shop at this place, so yum.
But my latest find at this mex mercado is the hibiscus tea. Recently I quit coffee, tired of being wired. switched to tea, black tea, green tea, etc. I feel good.
Two weeks ago i found hibiscus tea here at a bulk price. Big bag, feels like kilo of 420, lol, $6. Hibiscus tea is like red zinger by celestial seasonings. That deep red color, that zingy cranberry flavor. I love it. Good stuff.Jun 28, 2014Previous reviewOh man oh man oh man. Fresh carnitas by the pound ($4.99). Fresh tamales, chicken or pork, $1.50 each. So good, so flavorful, so fresh. Take it home, add some rice, beans, salsa, and a Dos Equis and dude.....THATS EATIN...!
We're talkin' homey goodness from the hoodie here! It don't get ANY better in the Cum than this!
It's on Route 9 next to the Wally-Mart in back of the Murphy Gas and Renasant Bank. Lotsa of parkin for your low-rider eh. STAY THIRSTY MI AMIGOS! - User N.Atlanta, GA0581Jun 23, 2019
Just returned to re-enjoy their fantastic tamales. This is authentic as it gets. In terms of value and quality, there is nothing nearby that compares.
