Two men. One threesome. Zero expectations.

Jamie Teller has had a rough year. After being blackmailed by a teammate, weathering a sex scandal, and being traded to a team on the other side of the continent, he’s overwhelmed and looking for a distraction. A sexy threesome with his burly roommate and his wife wasn’t expected--neither is his sudden attraction to a guy.

Viggo Sjoberg has been openly bisexual since he was 17, but he’d always assumed he would settle down with a woman. When he’s surprised with news he has a child from a past fling, he jumps headfirst into marriage and fatherhood, but his new wife isn't what she appeared to be. Adding to Viggo’s confusion are the feelings aroused by his seemingly straight roommate, Jamie.

When Jamie moves thousands of miles away, Viggo tells himself it’s over. Until a life-changing event puts the two men on a collision course. Suddenly, Jamie needs Viggo—badly—and Viggo is prepared to do whatever it takes to help. Even if it means he has to give up everything he always thought he wanted.

Author’s Note: This series is somewhat darker than my other books. Although they are all HEA’s, there are elements of BDSM, ménage, hate crimes, vigilante justice and LGBTQ relationships throughout the series. If you’re concerned about trigger warnings, this may not be the series for you.

THIS BOOK IS A STANDALONE.

I came across this book by accident and then after reading the blurb I couldn't help but be curious. I didn't know this author and I am not a huge fan of ménages so I definitely was a bit iffy about reading it, but thankfully it was a short lived ménage and in the end I really enjoyed the story that unfolded.

Viggo and Jamie are roommates and teammates on a profession hockey team. Jamie is straight and has his kinks. Viggo is bisexual and is a newlywed. Jamie is a mess because of the scandals he's been mixed up in and because of one of those scandals he's now being traded to a new team across the world. He doesn't want to go. He loves his team. But he doesn't have much of a choice now especially when he agreed to the trade. Viggo recently found out that he has a daughter and decided to marry the mother, Emilie. He's loved her since they were young. But their relationship isn't conventional. She's got some secrets and is in a pretty dark headspace. There are things that Emilie sexually wants/needs and Viggo can't give it to her. She wants to be hit and he can't bring himself to do it since his father was abusive to his mother. But it just happens to be one of Jamie's kinks.

Everything changes the weekend before Jamie is to fly off to his new home and team. Jamie is depressed and packing and that same weekend Viggo is moving his new family into their place. Jamie, fresh outta the shower thinks he's alone in their home when hears noises coming from the living room. He doesn't think it's Viggo since he went to pick his family up at the airport so he's surprised to find Viggo and Emilie in the living room going at it pretty hard. Shocked he stands there for awhile watching. When he hears Emilie begging Viggo to hit her and Viggo refusing saying he can't, Jamie offers his assistance. This leads these three into some pretty intense sexual interactions over the weekend and one that changes everything for Viggo and Jamie. Because in one of these sexual escapades Viggo and Jamie's lips meet and fireworks fly thus starting a new unconventional relationship.

Jamie is a ball of confusion. He's confused about being attracted to a man when he's always been straight. He's confused by the need he has to be with Viggo. He's confused on how he could ever have a relationship with a man. He doesn't think he can. Then of course there is the fact that Viggo is married and is on the other side of the world. He is sure it will never work.
Viggo has loved Emilie since they were young. They were never in a real relationship though. But one night of passion left Emilie pregnant and she kept this news from Viggo until recently. So when he and Jamie share that kiss he is as blind sided by it as Jamie. The feelings he starts to have don't confuse him as much as it does Jamie since he has been bisexual since a teen. But what does confuse him is the need to with this man. He's never thought of settling down with a man. He was always planning on marrying a woman and having kids; the same as Jamie. But now all he can see is Jamie. But Jamie is struggling and Viggo is understanding and patient. But the more Jamie runs hot and cold the more Viggo is losing hope of a future with him. But then something horrific happens that brings Viggo and Jamie together. A crisis has a way of opening your eyes to what's important and these men finally see that for them, it's each other. It doesn't matter that they are both men and that some of the world will be cruel to them all that matters is the love they have for the other. That is basically what this book was about. Not genders or sexual preferences, but just love.
But what about Emilie you ask? Well, Emilie is a mess and encourages this relationship because she herself just isn't in the right mindset to be in a relationship. She married Viggo because she felt it was the right thing to do at the time and he was her safety net. She loves him but is not IN love with him. But they are definitely very close and want the best for each other.
I'm not gonna lie, I've never really read a book with quite this scenario. It was a bit refreshing. Working through all the emotions the three characters were going through was quite the rollercoaster.
I would definitely read another book by this author.

Give this one a shot dolls!

Happy reading! xx

Jamie and Viggo have been roommates and teammates for a year now. With Jamie about to be traded to a different team there's no way after one hot night with Viggo and his wife he could be falling for Viggo, right?

Okay, I'm going to be honest and tell you what I liked and things I struggled with. First, I was not aware of a book before this one and I wished I knew, and read it because I felt lost at times like I needed a back story. I also wished I had a back story on Viggo's wife. I felt I couldn't connect with her or her troubles.

I'm a huge fan of M/M so I think the author did this story some justice. It was hot in the right places and I felt for Jamie and his struggles.

Temptation's Inferno by Kat Mizera is the second book in her Club Inferno series and has scored a game-winning goal with this M/M love story! I thought Salvation's Inferno was hot but damn Jamie's story is intense. We've met Jamie before and I've always wanted to him be the center of the story and Kat didn't disappoint. Jamie Teller isn't new to scandal but the last thing he saw coming was falling for his friend and soon-to-be-ex-roommate Viggo Sjoberg. Their connection is undeniable and their chemistry is off the charts but Jamie has never considered loving a man and this change has thrown him off balance. Viggo is a married to Emilie with a child and Jamie would never come between their marriage but things aren't always what they seem.

Every now and then you pick up a book that grips you and won't let go and THIS is one of those books. Temptation's Inferno has everything I was looking for. Loveable Characters: Check, Smoking Hot Sex: Double Check, Perfect Amount of Angst: Triple Check but I wasn't expecting Kat to dive into issues like hate crimes. Done with nothing but class and respect, Kat has brought up issues the LGTBQ community are dealing with on an ongoing basis. Love is Love end of story in my eyes! I've been a fan of Kat's work since Dom's story and I loved seeing characters from Sidewinders popping in and out of the story. Don't get me wrong if you are brand new to Kat's writing this can be read as a standalone too and you'll be starting with an extremely emotional story. 5 Stars for Temptation's Inferno by Kat Mizera

“I don't see you as a man or a woman - I only see the person who makes me feel whole. There's never been anyone, of any sex, that makes me feel like you do-when I touch you I don't feel different anymore.”

I haven't read an MM in a long time and I've been really picky a lot with it so when this showed up, I couldn't resist. I mean, who wouldn't? The cover is definitely hot!!

I admit, I had a hard time at the beginning of the story and the character structure were bit 'duh' for me. It seems the characters are fun of having their sex scandals but oh well, what's life without a little scandal here and there. lol!

Anyway, beyond that, I actually fell in love with the characters, more so with Viggo than Jamie. Viggo is an out bi, and has accepted his sexuality. He enjoys both men and women but he's life is a little complicated with a wife and a daughter in it. Jamie, is straight, or that's what he thinks until a kiss that changed both of their lives.

This was an emotional read. Although the characters were overwhelming as there was a lot, I actually enjoyed it considering there's a lot of testosterone.

I admit, I wanted specifics on some part and sometimes the story is going too fast or too slow and I couldn't quite figure the pacing out, but other than that, this is worth the read! I love the underlying subject and unconventional characters. Although this is not too dark for me, the subject is quite sensitive with a hint of bdsm, hate crime, vigilante justice and LGBTQ relationships.

I love just Viggo's character. And although Jamie struggled with accepting who he is versus society's perception, I love how his character have grown and his journey to acceptance and love.

The ending left me feeling emotional but the story is quite moving and that's why I love it!

“We're just Viggo and Jamie, yeah? We're just us.”

I've never read a MM romance before and wasn't sure whether I would enjoy this. Having read and loved Salvation's Inferno, however, I wanted to 'keep up' with the series.

Kat Mizera had shown me that gender really doesn't matter, a really well written romance is a really well written romance. The story is dark and hard hitting at times, there are lots of sub-plots that intertwine with the main theme and at well gone midnight I had to force myself to put this book down and go to sleep. I then finished it as soon as I could the next day. It is gripping, has absolutely wonderfully written and well developed characters and raises some very real issues about the bigotry still, unfortunately, present in the world today.

Viggo and Jamie are two of the most amazing main characters I have read about in a while. They are so very believable, they have their faults and make dumb choices sometimes but are caring, strong and likeable. I had one tiny issue with something that felt to me like cheating, however it soon became apparent that it was necessary for the story in several different ways.

I loved the struggles Jamie had both with his sexuality and because of the 'taboo' nature of his relationship with Viggo. The depth of emotion in this book blew me away, and even as someone who would say they have no issue with gay/bisexual/transgender people it did make me question how truly accepting and open I am. And I have to say I am glad that the book made me think this way because we should never judge love.

I just want to go back and jump straight back into re-reading this book it is that good.

Temptation’s Inferno (Inferno Book 2) by Kat Mizera
This is the second book in the Inferno series and NOTE to readers DO NOT READ THIS BOOK ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK at work. I was just getting started into the book and the first scene was f**king hot! It was long day at work after that.
It has been a long time since I read a book that caused me to react this way but I’m here to tell you this book is fantastic. There is a full range of emotions, passion, confusion, family, and the love that is felt on every page. There is a complexity to this book that is difficult to explain in words because the feelings this book evoke were powerful and it felt like you are going through this ordeal with the characters. Kat has been able to express these feelings through her exceptional writing style. The emotions were raw and very life like.
This book will not be for everyone the subject matter touches on a subject that is still not widely accepted in many social circles. However, the story has a good pace with the sequence of events flow perfectly. As I read I tend to think of the scenarios that can derail the new relationships that are forming on the books pages. In this case, my scenarios were incorrect and took on a dark turn that caught me off guard. Looking back after reading the book there isn’t any other way the story can play out and be this fabulous.
We meet Jamie Teller on the day he finds out he is being traded to Ottawa and will be leaving the Sidewinders organization. In book 1 he had asked to be traded so Becca would not be humiliated after the sex scandal with him and Dante. You can just feel how unhappy he is and wish you could just give him a big hug and tell him it’s going to be okay.
Then there is Viggo Sjoberg teammate on the Sidewinders, Jamie’s roommate, and Emilie’s husband. He has a mean presence on the ice but is a big teddy bear at heart. Since he was 17 he knew he was bi-sexual and is comfortable with his lifestyle choice.
This story starts out with the threesome between Emilie, Viggo and Jamie that leads to a relationship most people do not understand or accept. Jamie is trying to come to grips with the revelation that he had sex with a man. This is just the tip of the ice berg to the complexity of this book. To go any further into an explanation would give away the turn of event that made this book exceptional.
Once again, I can’t stress enough the emotional response I had to reading this book. The subject matter is difficult to read because of how heinous the crime is that happens. If you are looking for a book that will having you laughing, crying, wanting to commit murder, and wiggling in your chair then this book is for you.
Highly recommend this book and series. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Rate: 5 inferno stars! This book is so intense. I higly recommend it!

First let me tell you that Temptation’s Inferno by Kat Mizera is the second book on The Inferno Series and it can be read as a standalone. The blurb caught my attention and I was really happy to receive an ARC. I must confess that I’ve never read a threesome MMF story until Temptation’s Inferno and I must say that I’ve been missing so much fun if you know what I mean.

Maybe you think that reading a book like this is too “dirty” by the ways of thinking between what is right and wrong according to society. The ménage à trios is only another way to express your sexuality and at the end it does not matter if you are hetero, bi, homo or trans. The important thing is to live without prejudices and enjoy life. After a bit of philosophy let me share my toughs about this book.

“Being bi meant liking people of both sexes”

In this book you will find intense and hot sex scenes filled with love which will make you blush like a virgin. These scenes are well written and believe me is hard to find authors who can make this.

Kat Mizera shows us the story of Jamie & Viggo (both are hockey players). Jamie is conflicted; he is leaving his team mates (who he considers as family) in order to avoid more issues because of a sex scandal. This action reveals us a man who is kind and protective with his beloved ones, thinking first in them and then in himself. When he shared a night of passion with Viggo and Viggo’s wife he questioned his sexuality but he is not the only one who noticed it.

“It was very intense between you and Jamie-you can’t deny it”

Viggo is openly bisexual but when he found out that he is going to be a father he married Emilie (his young love). He seemed to be comfortable with his marriage until he had a threesome with Jamie and Emilie. The attraction between both men is explosive. They are fire together.

“It was the kind of love that burned hot on the outside, but somehow even hotter on the inside”

Jamie and Viggo will fight against some people who are closed-minded about sexuality (something that happen in the world, called racism). To find out that you have singular tastes on bed is hard because of social morality. It’s tough to let people see you how you really are when you know how they will react to. But not all is dark. There are people who will not judge you because of your sexual preferences like friends and family. That’s something Jamie and Viggo will have.

“Being in love means I don’t care about whether you have a vagina or a penis –I only care about you”

I really recommend you to read this book. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. It has everything you search on a good book. I felt totally deep in the story, like I was there as a spectator (between I could also sense the lethal attraction between Jamie & Viggo). From the first pages you will be caught and you won’t want to put the book down until you finish it. You will devour this book. As an advice: don’t miss Emilie and Chains because they will have their own story in the next book on this series. Temptation’s Inferno is a must read book.

I paid ninety-nine cents for this, and finished it fast so I could return it because frankly, free would be over-priced. While there's potential here, there is so much wrong that I made three and a half pages of notes - and I think that's the only reason I finished reading it. It desperately needed a technical edit for facts, like Hitler's hate started spreading in the '30s, not the '40s. Same-sex marriage became law in 2015 - this was published in 2017, which means Jamie did not have to be as stupid as he was. Repeatedly. Over and over.

But he is stupid. Later on, he should've called the police. He knew he was outnumbered.

Readers who five-starred this? WTF - did you even read this book? What else is wrong? Oh. So much. Given their histories, neither guy should be so casual about threesomes. And yet. Dante is a dick and apologizes with money. There is casual misogyny everywhere, like dandruff, and the author has a horrible head-hopping habit. It's one of the laziest things a writer can do to readers: we do not experience other people's thoughts, only our own. When presenting a character, and then mid-scene wandering off to another character's thoughts, the writer violates our trust. If we can see anyone's thoughts, why invest in what's happening? There won't be any mystery. The timeline is confusing, the who-what-where of threesomes is confusing (I presume it makes more sense if I'd read book 1, but frankly had I done that, I never would've read another one. Dante is a dick), and Jamie treating Viggo like a yo-yo was cruel. Jamie's whining about his manhood got really, really old. Best scene was Viggo calling him on his bullshit. I'm skipping a lot of notes because there are so many. I get the whole bi confusion as presented by Viggo who tries to give Jamie space to accept it too. But Jamie acting like he can somehow escape falling in love just because he wants a heteronormative family unit "some day" is very dorky, and repeated ad nauseam. Also the 'hockey is all I know' mantra. This book cries out for an editor. The author is not very good at tension. She substitutes repetitive angst and throws in skinheads and it just isn't ... great. None of this is great.

I was hoping for something even approaching polyamory, but even when they almost sorta-kinda get there-ish, the ex-wife runs away. I don't care why. The BDSM rep is... not good. There's a disclaimer, but it's lip service. When I, not into it, know more than the author? Yeah. Not good. Really, neither is the m/m sex rep. Anal sex is not the epitome of sex any more than vaginal penetration is. Serious lack of imagination/experience/research here.

There is a Worst Thing. It's this charity they suddenly invent in the last chapter. I quote: "The money we raise will not just bring awareness, it will help eliminate labels like gay, bisexual, transgender and more. Our goal is to make the idea of love simply that—love. No labels, no differences, and absolutely no hate."

I...what? There ARE differences! LABELS AREN'T BAD!!! and if you're eliminating labels, then you'd better include straight! And Transgender is not a sexual orientation. LOOK IT UP.

In other words, I do not recommend this series. At all.

This was a great hockey romance!
These guys start as friends but find that there is more to the feeling they are having.
The romance is so sweet but some terrible situations cause so much pain both emotionally and physically that the story keeps you on the edge.
I loved Jamie and Viggo’s story and I look forward to others in the series.

I just finished this and WOW... just off the charts Hot! This is easily a 10 star read for me.
This M/M Bisexual story leaves you torn apart & very much wrecked for these men. This story will stay with me for a long long time.
Jamie has always been into woman, usually the brunettes with large chests; but after a night with Viggo & Emilie everything changed for him. He now sees Viggo very differently; and he wants more. So here he is very attracted to women and attracted to Viggo.
Viggo has always been bisexual and on a night when his beautiful wife needs more than he can give in walks Jamie. Jamie seems to be able to give everything to both of them. Emilie and Viggo are together for the sake of their daughter and a love for each other since childhood, but they do not have a soul capturing love. Viggo has found this with Jamie; he is everything.
This couple go thru alot to get to the other side. You will love and root for them.

I always love when an author will approach a subject most others try to stay away from. Not the gay bi or what ever they may be landed but the hate comes along with the label that gets places on people. While parts were so hard to read just because deals with things that really do happen. They happen to people who have fallen in love with what society considers out of the normal. The love between these two hot hockey players was so special that everyone will love them. The relationship between Viggo and Emilie was something very special and the bond between Jamie and her was just as equally special. However the Authors Note is very important to this so please take the time and read that too. Really this book gave me many emotions and anger fear and love were just the start of that list. I'll definitely be reading more from Kat Mizera in the future.

A truly emotional read.....

Temptations Inferno will grab your heart and hold it tight. It's more than just two men in a relationship, it's two people who find themselves in total and complete love with each other. Viggo and Jamie are wonderful characters who show us that no matter who or what you are that love trumps everything. Friends first these two will make your heart soar.

This book does hit on some very rough topics so if that's not your thing you may want to pass on the book. However, I found that the author was very tasteful with her words and did a great job of bringing something so hateful to us. I really enjoyed the story and will definitely be looking into more books by this author.

Title: Temptation's Inferno
Author: Kat Mizera

5 amazing stars

This is my first book i've read by Kat Mizera. What can i say about it? Wow. Simply wow. It was beautiful. It was memorable. But most of all it touched me. More than once. It wasn't anything like i expected - honestly i thought, from reading the blurb, that i'd read a hot novel about a BDSM club and a man who is attracted to his friend and his friend's wife. Instead, i got a love story unlike any i've read in a very long time. M/M love stories aren't my go to genre, but i appreciate them. I love how authors can make them sexy, attractive and interesting, but rarely do i get that arousing effect that i'd often get with the M/F or menage stories, but Kat Mizera did just that. Yes, there are menage aspects, but it wasn't a story about that, it was a story about friend discovering, maybe at the last moment, that friendship can develop into something more connecting. I wish i could do this book justice by summarizing it, but i know i can't since it won't explain just why we should read this book.

4.5 sexy dreams

The messages are so damn profound. Powerful. And so heart wrenching that i wasn't sure if one moment i should jump in bed and start clapping like a lunatic or grab that box of tissues that is never far from me and start bawling at the injustice of how cruel people are and can be. I live in a bubble... yes i know... i work, breathe and sleep books most days, and the other times, i live with my family, playing with my daughter, doing the mom thing and drive her to all her activities that she's signed up for. Kat Mizera simply destroyed that bubble. I forgot that bigots, racists and radicalists still exist and breathe with us. I had forgotten that a community isn't forged on lovey-dovey expectations, but rather people fighting for things that are real. That people only want the basics - love, family, friends and be able to live in peace with the one that their heart belongs to, but too often, there are others that can't accept that no matter how discreet you try to be. There will always be haters. Temptation's Inferno, the second book in this series, doesn't require anyone to read the first novel (although i know i will be sooner rather than later) to be read first to understand what is going on; from what i'm guessing, many of the characters that you meet in this book were those that were probably introduced in the first novel, and yet you don't get the feeling that you're missing a big part of the larger picture.

So many things happened in this novel - love, hate, pain and joy, but in the end, it's Kat Mizera's ability to make you feel the words that are spoken by each individual after they rally after the heinous crime against one of their own that truly takes the care. We sadly can't erase hate, but boy, when you read a powerful story like this one, one this is certain, at least one step was taken to bring more joy and love into your heart to make it a little brighter, even if you live in your own bubble.

Holy smokes! I loved this book! This is the first book I have read by Kat and it definitely will not be my last. Jamie and Viggo are hawt, hawt, hawt! As most people who read my reviews know, I am a sucker for a really good M/M book and I love Hockey romance books as well. So, when you mix the two together...I am as happy as a dog chewing on a bone...lol I have to say that this book had me thinking of my first M/M read...Logan And Tate! I am not comparing the two, I am just saying that this book gave me the feels like Try did. I was head over heels for Jamie and Viggo by time this book was finished and I wanted MORE!!!

Jamie Teller has been living the good life. Playing hockey and enjoying the life that comes with it. That is until a video is leaked of him participating in a threesome. Now Jamie finds himself traded to a team in Ottaw and the last thing he wants is to leave his friends and the team that he loves. But, the fallout from the tryst is too much for one of them and Jamie basically takes the fall. On one of the last nights that Jamie is in Vegas he and his roommate Viggo and Viggo's wife share a mind blowing, damn near earth shattering experience. Now Jamie is left trying to decipher the felling he now has for Viggo. Can it be that even after all these years that he has enjoyed women in his bed, he can possibly be attracted to men too?

Viggo Sjoberg has never been ashamed of his sexual orientation. Being bi-sexual once caused him a great deal of uncertainty. Now that he is a grown man, he has come to grips with it and embraces who he is. Now he is married and has a little girl and enjoys his life, but feels that there is still something missing. He loves his career as a hockey player for the Las Vegas Sidewinders and he loves his wife, but he may not be in love with her. When he experiences a night of unbelievable pleasure with his wife and roommate Jamie, everything changes in an instant. The connection that he feels to Jamie is what he has been missing from his life. With his wife's blessing he and Jamie begin to explore what is happening between them.

Long distance relationships generally are a struggle and Jamie can't see making a relationship with Viggo work when they will be so far away from one another. To top it off he needs to dig deep and re-evaluate who he is and what he wants. The struggle that Jamie has is so gut wrenching at times. He doesn't know if he is gay or bi-sexual. When he realizes that he is bi-sexual he can't help but stay hidden. He feels that the world still has to much hatred and no understanding of people whose orientation differs from his own. When he learns first hand how much hatred some people have for people like him, he is left clinging to life.

You you are an M/M fan and love sports related romances, you have to read this book. Jamie and Viggo's story is sweet, sexy and humorous at times. It tugs at your heartstrings and has you wanting to commit heinous crimes. The fact that there are still people out there today who do not understand or want to understand that others should be allowed to love who they want need their heads examined. I know a statement like that may not be something that all people will agree with, but it is my opinion and I am entitled to that. So...In summary, this seriously is an amazing book. If you are looking for an awesome read that I feel is up there with Tate and Logan, then you really need to give Temptation's Inferno a chance.

This is the second installment of Kat Mizera's Inferno series, a spin-off of her Sidewinders series. This book focuses on two of the hockey playing Las Vegas Sidewinders, Viggo Sjoberg and soon-to-be-traded Jamie Teller. Both characters have a lot of backstory which occur in Sidewinder series books. The cause for Jamie's trade to the Ottawa team occurs in the first Inferno book. The storyline for this book is complex for a few reasons. Firstly, Viggo is married and has a child. Secondly, Jamie's a heterosexual man who happens to be Viggo's roommate before, and while, he's married. Thirdly, threesomes are one of Jamie's "things" and he gets drawn into one with Viggo and his wife. It's then that Jamie feels an attraction to Viggo he never felt before in all the time they lived together. In fact, he's never really felt an attraction to another man before.
Viggo is a known bisexual and is secure in his sexuality as is his wife. However once Viggo found out about his child he wanted to provide a traditional mother/father/child family life. Since they've married Viggo and his wife, Emilie's feelings for each other aren't as strong as they were. When Jamie gets inadvertently involved in Viggo and Emilie's sexual encounter a physical attraction is sparked. This attraction between Jamie and Viggo grows very intense within a few days. This confuses Jamie immensely since he's only ever been attracted to women until now. But his feelings for Viggo are undeniable and strong and so very confusing. Kat Mizera does a fantastic job with "Temptation's Inferno" and it is mesmerizing; I was instantaneously captivated. The characters are engaging and the storyline is intriguing and the pace is driving.
There is one MAJOR problem in one portion of the book having to do with vigilante justice. I feel that one of the acts is not only inhumane but the opposite way to deal with the crime. That's not something you do to perpetrators of a hate crime. Not if you want to keep the sympathy on the victims or subjects of hate crimes.
"Temptation's Inferno" is an addictive read that's almost impossible to put down. Jamie and Viggo are fabulous characters that are engaging and magnetic. Their sexual chemistry is palpable. Kat Mizera's storyline is engrossing and compelling leading you down a path of romance and pathos. The point of view is omniscient so the reader zips in and out of various characters minds without warning. "Temptation's Inferno" is ultimately about love, understanding, and acceptance. I really enjoyed this second book of the Inferno series a lot more than the first. I'm intrigued to see what the next book brings, being that it focuses on Viggo's wife Emilie.

Temptation’s Inferno, by Kat Mizera, is one of the hottest books I have ever read. That being said, it also has an extremely uplifting and positive message that was beautiful enough to bring me to tears.

Jamie Teller has had a rotten year, and it’s about to get worse as he was just traded to a new hockey team, far away from his friends and support system. With just a few days before his move, Jamie happens into a threesome with his roommate Viggo and his new wife. While Jamie is no stranger to this type of encounter, for the first time ever, he finds himself attracted to a man.

Viggo, openly bisexual and very comfortable in his own skin, finds himself married to a childhood friend after she becomes pregnant after their brief encounter. While Viggo is willing to do anything to make his new marriage work and be a great father, his wife is not the person he thought she was. On top of that, Viggo finds himself having feelings for the man he only thought of as a roommate until recently.

With new and confusing feelings plaguing him, Jamie finds himself thousands of miles from those he cares about trying to find his way on a new team. Coming to terms with his feelings for Viggo is not something that comes easy for Jamie. When tragedy strikes, however, Jamie realizes who he can truly count on and love is love regardless if that love is for a man or a woman.

Kat Mizera wrote some scorching hot scenes between Jamie and Viggo. However, these characters also have extreme depth to them. It is easy to get caught up in the struggle Jamie feels coming to terms with the fact that he finds himself in love with a man for the first time in his life. Readers also feel the frustrations Viggo faces waiting for Jamie to come to terms with his sexuality.

The true gem that this book is, however, comes to life when Jamie is outed in a tragic way. It is simply beautiful watching his old team-mates and friends rally around him as he faces his new reality. While the cause is nothing you ever want to see happen to someone, the result is something I wish I could see happening in real life.

Temptation’s Inferno is simply an amazing read. It’s so much more than a hockey romance. I also can’t wait to see where Kat takes us with the next book in the series.

Where to start? There's so much wrong with this book!

I guess to best describe it, this is what it looks like when you write a book like a daily soap. It doesn't work for a book. With a daily soap you forget by the end of the week whats been on on mondays. You can get as absurd as you want. A book however is read in a day or two. It doesn't work.

What threw me first and repeatedly out of the story were the mentions of Viggo speaking almost no english when coming to america. And how did he improve his english? By watching tv with subtitles. Great idea. If it wasn't for the fact Viggo is from sweden not russia. A fact that is apparently not common knowledge in the US is that swedes all speak really good english. And do you know how they do that? By putting subtitles on the imported tv-series. Which they watch from a young age on. Therefore their english is pretty good. Which the author would have know, if they would have just put in the tiniest bit of research!

The relationship between Jamie and Viggo is ok. However the jumping back and forth of Jamie is so very annoying. He likes a man. Might even love him, but he isn't gay. But he's bi. But what will people say? And he can't be with him because of reasons and he really isn't gay. Not homophobic obviously, it's ok for other people to be gay, but not for him.
He's got this really warped picture of what makes a man.
He's also one of those guys who's not sexist but... don't get him wrong big tits are great and fucking as well, but they're just not men. They can't do the same things that men do. And therefore they're beneath him. But he's not sexist.

I'm sure theres more, I just can't.

Temptation's Inferno starts out blazing hot. The heat level between Jamie and Viggo is off the charts. How off the charts? For the most part the intimacy you experience is when Jamie and Viggo kiss. That's right. Kiss. Yes, other juicy bits happen too, but for as hot as things get, Jamie and Viggo don't breach the ultimate trusting level until later in the book.

Kat Mizera does an incredible job pulling you in and drowning you in Jamie and Viggo's kisses, touches, and just plain old intimacy. Before you know it your panties have melted right off your body and whew, the temperature is rising even as I'm recalling their lips locking.

Kat also wasn't afraid to touch on a sensitive subject; hate crime, without it affecting her storyline. In fact it was an integral part of her story and helped solidify the love and relationship between the two men. She even gives the reader a fair warning before you dive in to the story. It is brutal and she doesn't dance around or make light of what happens.

The LBGTQ community has come a long way in the past few years, yet there are still a large number of people who are intolerant. Not only was Jaime struggling with his own feelings for Viggo, the only man he's ever had feelings for, but he also falls victim to a hate crime because of his growing love. It makes you wonder if Jamie will run or will he stay and fight.

The book was well written from the perspective of a man who was struggling to find out who he was. Not in labeling himself, but in coming to the realization that he was in love for the first time in his life and it happened to be with his best friend. It wasn't about sexuality, but it was about being a human being in love.

Viggo was the perfect counterbalance to Jamie's very indecisive mood swings. He understood how hard it was in dealing with his own sexuality when he came out and as such was ever patient with Jamie. That man deserved a medal for putting up with Jamie at times, but he so frankly stated that you stay by, good or bad, the person you love. They were perfect for one another.

For a story that could have teetered over the edge and blown matters out of proportion if given the chance, Temptation's Inferno was excellent and hot as hell to boot.

I read the first book which is Dante and Becca’s book. While I liked that one, I loved this one. There is everything in this book. There are trigger warnings so be aware. The writing was great and there were tons of feels. Sometimes I just wanted to reach in and hug them all.
The was so much sexual tension and lust. There was even light BDSM. Not over the top but just enough.

The book starts off with Jamie being ready to get traded to a hockey team in Ottawa. After thinking about it, he really doesn’t want to go but it is too late. He loves Vegas and playing with the Sidewinders, his teammates which are his good friends and let’s not forget his roommate Viggo. Jaime got the short end of the stick in what happened leading up the trade. After being blackmailed by his former teammate, the sex scandal, and steroid use. So when his roommate's wife Emilie moved from Sweden with their daughter since Jamie is moving out, Jamie overhears Viggo and Emilie, he goes to investigate. They had no idea he was home. This opens up to the threesome between Viggo, his wife Emilie, and Jamie. Let me say fan yourself hot with the three of them. I found myself blushing at times reading this. They decide to be with each other for the next three days until Jamie leaves for Ottawa. Let me say dynamic just works for them. Jamie brings something to this threesome that Viggo can’t do and it’s Jamie’s thing. Jamie never plans to have feelings for Viggo. Oh, and did I mention that Jamie is straight?

Viggo is a very out and proud bisexual man. Let me tell you he is all man. I loved him. He is a strong dominant, alpha male that would do anything for his wife and Jamie. He has no problem admitting to Jamie he feels something for him. He is equally attracted to both men and women.

Now we have Jamie in Ottawa and Viggo in Las Vegas with his wife, but they keep in contact. They are friends so they think they are done. Jamie decides he his going to date and meets Misty. She is a good friend. Then there is Josh. I loved him too. He was an amazing friend. This is where the drama and angst and turmoil come into play. It is just getting started. That broke my heart. My heart hurt for Misty. Don’t even get me started on how Jamie was feeling.

This was such a great book and I would love to read more about these men. I loved them to pieces. I loved their friends and teammates. They were just like family. I even read Dante and Becca again to see how they were doing. Again a great 4.5 star read, so worth it.

Temptation’s Inferno is my first book by Kat Mizera and I was super excited because it’s been awhile since I’ve read an M/M book (at least a month…that’s awhile in my book). Plus there’s hockey and big, burly hockey players who know how to work their sticks. I do have to admit that for the first 30% or so, the story kind of dragged for me. It did eventually pick up and peak my interest but at first, I was wondering if I was going to be able to finish. But Viggo and Jamie eventually drew me in and captivated me. The realness and the rawness with which Mizera wrote about the feelings the men had, the experiences they had, it was gripping. And at times heart-wrenching.

Jamie’s a bit of a heartthrob, a golden boy, and a trouble magnet. He’s sexy and sweet and thrown off his game when feelings and attractions start to develop for his soon-to-be-ex-roommate. Viggo is loyal, confident and has known about his bisexuality for a while. When a threesome leads to something more, their chemistry explodes. The connection between these two was tangible. At times I felt as if I could literally see it pulsing between them. These characters are exquisitely written, they are complex with intricate backstories, strengths, and weaknesses. And the secondary characters were just as great. They were a family built of bonds, not blood.

There is a lot of drama in this book and it’s decently high on the angst scale. Mizera doesn’t hold back when it comes to the discrimination and hate that LGBQT people face. I applaud her for taking the chance and feel that she handled it as delicately as such a subject can be in this context. If you read this book, please take the time to read her author’s note. I think this is going to be a book that’ll stick with me for a bit. It’s definitely one that’s made me think.

Temptation's Inferno is an incredible story about love, friendship and hate/evil. From the first page, this story is intense and fast paced. Temptation's Inferno sucks you in and keeps you engrossed in the lives of the characters until the last page. The reader goes on a journey with the characters, both happy and sad. The story has heartache, pain, hate, love, happiness, fear, and so many more emotions. The author wrote a beautiful story that is realistic and very relevant. Jamie and Viggo learn the meaning of true friendship and trust. There are some dark parts/themes in this story, but I appreciate how the author handled it. In my opinion, the theme of this story is about when love triumphs over evil/hate, and that everyone should be allowed love whoever they love. Temptation's Inferno has many white-hot sex scenes between Jamie and Viggo. Their chemistry is very intense from the beginning. Jamie is not slightly confused about his sexuality about the threesome he has with Viggo and Emilie. Viggo has been bisexual since he was seventeen. Can these characters find love? Will they find a happily ever after? What will happen if and when Jamie moves to be with his new team? This is my first book by Kat Mizera, but it will not be my last.

Overall Story - 5 Stars!
Chemistry - 5 Stars!
Cliffhanger - No
Menage - Yes (MFM, as well as MM)
Recommend to Others - Hell Yes!
I volunteered to read and review this arc book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Temptation Inferno is book 2 of the Inferno Series which is a series that is a spin off from the Las Vegas Sidewinders series. This book is very well written and has a great story too it. It will help you realize what people go through that are Gay or Bi-sexual. Jamie Teller was a player on the Las Vegas Sidewinders and was asked to take a trade due to a sex scandal that happened with another person from the team. Viggo Sjoberg, who is openly bi-sexual, recently found out he has a child with his long-time friend Emily and has decided to marry to his longtime friend Emily who is the mother of his child. Viggo recently made the Las Vegas sidewinders team and has been Jamie’s roommate. Viggo has feeling for Jamie but he assumes he is straight. When Jamie must move thousands of miles away he has a life-changing event that he needs Viggo’s help and support with and Viggo is ready to do whatever he needs to do to help Jamie out. This book had some violence and some sexual content. There was both scenes with threesomes and scenes that are men on men. There is also a hate crime scene that will make you cry. I went through every emotional possible with this book. What this book deals with is very real and what some people must deal with in their life. It is a must read and I highly recommend it!

Temptation’s Inferno was a great 5 star read.

Jamie is dealing with being traded to another team after a threesome caught on tape. He doesn’t want to leave but this is the deal he made with his friends. Things get even more complicated when Jamie finds his roommate and his wife having sex. He offers to assist with something and let's just say things take off from here.

Jamie quickly realizes that he is having feelings for Viggo and he is really struggling with it. He’s not gay but there is something about Viggo that really gets to him. Viggo is also starting to feel more for Jamie, so much that it’s taking over his thoughts and his wife is noticing it as well.

Will Jamie open up his heart and see what's standing in front of him? Will Viggo get what he most desires?

There is so much more to this great read. There are several secondary characters that added a great element to the story. Viggo’s wife Emilie was super supportive and I really liked her. There is a horrific scene that really broke my heart and really captures the reality of what can occur due to stupidity of others. Both Jamie and Viggo are strong alpha males with huge hearts and I loved reading their story. We do get a HEA and I would love to see more from these two, I feel like they are just getting started. Thank you Kat Mizera for a great read.

I did like Viggo and Jamie. I just didn't like how long it took for Jamie to come to terms with his sexuality. I understood it, it just felt like it took up a huge portion of the book that could have been spent on them being happy as a couple. I feel like we didn't get enough of that. There is one part towards the end when everything starts to come together that I feel was left hanging with Emilia, Viggo and Jamie making plans for a future family. I guess we will have to read the next book to get that wrapped up.

I may read the next one just to find out more about Jamie and Viggo since Emilia is such a big part of their lives.

With this being only the second book in this series, I’m blown away. As in book 1, this book deals with real world issues right in your face like no other way I have ever seen. My emotions were on the worst rollercoaster ride ever while reading about Jamie, Viggo and Emilie. What started out as a night of fun for the three of them soon turned into something much more.

The very straight heterosexual Jamie never thought that he could have feelings for another man. He was only in it for the fun and helping Emilie with her kink because her husband couldn’t.

After living with each other for a year and never looking at him as nothing more than a teammate, Viggo has opened his eyes to Jamie after the one night. Now he must face his feelings because Jamie is being traded to another team in another country.

Throw in Emilie’s beaten and broken soul, and you have the perfect mix of heart break and happy. While the three search to find what they are looking for, love, a lot of up and down is also discovered. In the end, love wins out over everything. After all Love is Love.

Loved every word!

This is the second book in the inferno series, it can be read as a standalone. But if you haven't read the first book I highly recommend it!

This book, where do I start. It is the first M/M book I've ever read and I wasn't sure what to expect. I picked it up because I love this author and was so glad I did. It was an amazing, emotional story! Viggo and Jaime who would have thought. Viggo was married and Jaime was straight, well life has a way of pulling the rug from under your feet. After a threesome that included Viggo, Jaime, and Emilie, Jaime realized he was more attracted to Viggo then he ever expected. After they all come to the same realisation, a divorce later Viggo and Jaime decide to try a relationship. This book made me sob! I mean the things Jaime goes through are just unbelievable, you have to read this book, he shows how strong he is inside and out. Not letting the world brake him. With the help of all their friends and family Viggo and Jaime finally get their HEA. The book is a journey you have to take a chance on. It was a rollercoaster of emotions but worth every dime. I think it's my favorite Kat Mizera book so far. Loved it!

This is the second book in the Inferno series. It can be read alone but why would you want to 😜

This book focuses on Jamie and Viggo. Viggo and his wife share an apartment with Jamie who plays on the same NHL team as Viggo.
Viggo and Emilie are into BDSM but he is not comfortable with inflicting pain which Emilie wants him to do. Jamie accidentally walks in on them and offers to hit her while they make love. All 3 enjoy it so much it becomes a regular occurrence. What none of them expected was for Jamie, a straight guy, to enjoy being with Viggo so much.
Emilie knows they are a better fit than her and Viggo and encourages them to explore their feelings for each other.
Viggo never pictured himself in a relationship with a guy, despite being openly bisexual and Jamie had never even thought about any guy until Viggo.
Jamie's own confusion and the reaction of outsiders causes endless struggles.

This was an amazing story of love and hatred that exists especially towards the LBGT community. Why should love be labelled as gay or straight?? Sometimes 2 people are just meant to be

Temptation's Inferno is the second book in the Inferno series which tells us the stories characters we met in the Las Vegas Sidewinders series. Jamie has been traded to another hockey team after a sex scandal involving a threesome. Viggo, a married openly bisexual man, is comfortable with who he is and what he desires. Jamie and Viggo are roommates who after having a threesome find that themselves developing feelings for each other. Jamie who is not gay struggles with what those feelings mean for him in a world and particularly a sport that does not seem to be very accepting of M/M relationships. Will Jamie and Viggo be able to overcome the outside world to get their HEA?

I loved Jamie and Viggo as well as the supporting cast. Jamie has to go through something that no human being should be subjected to. This book deals with tough issues in a way that really connects you to the characters. This book shows that love is love regardless of gender identity.

This is so not my normal genre of reading. I have always like Jamie & Viggo and was glad to have their story told. I really did enjoy the book even with the hot m/m/f scenes. I also appreciate the acknowledgement & light this story shines on the LGBTQ community and battles & stereotypes they face on a daily basis.
