How to Give a Know Your Rights Presentation for Immigrants

This webinar is intended to prepare advocates, organizers, and allies to give Know-Your-Rights presentations to clients and community members. The training will cover topics such as the rights that individuals have during an ICE raid, when ICE comes to their home, and during an interaction with immigration or law enforcement in public, including in a car.
Participants will learn how to train clients, community members, and others invoke their rights and remain safe during an encounter with ICE. We will also cover the tactics that ICE agents use during arrests and how individuals can protect themselves.
This training is not open to members of the media or press, to prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and employees of the Department of Homeland Security.

The Immigrant Defense Project (IDP) works to secure fairness and justice for immigrants in the United States.
