A firm favourite on the calendar for more than 50 years, Saturday’s fair offered families a few new attractions this year.
Fair committee president Gisele Williams said the new animal nursery was a hit with children, while the dog show was back for its second year.
“We had dog competitions for best dressed, best trick, musical chairs, find the treat, and egg and spoon races,” she said.
The fair raised more than $20,000 for Eglinton Public School.
“We were so happy with how the day went, the weather was just beautiful and there were lots of people around,” she said.
