Foz Cup teams and fixtures set for huge Sunday clashes

It’s the games that stop the futsal nation – the Futsal Oz Cup!

The traditional end-of-season tournament sees the top five teams from Series Futsal Victoria, plus the premiers of the State Championship League, fight out in a one-day competition.

The format sees third place take on the State Championship winners, followed by fourth place take on fifth.

The winner of the first match will play Hume FC (second in the SFV) in the first semi-final, while the winner of the second match takes on SFV champions Pascoe Vale FC.

GAME 1: Fitzroy FC v FC Carlton
GAME 2: FC Balwyn v CF Brunswick
SEMI-FINAL 1: Hume FC v TBC (winner Game 1)
SEMI-FINAL 2: Pascoe Vale FC v TBC (winner Game 2)
Grand Final: Semi-final winners

This Sunday’s Foz Cup will be played at the home of futsal in Victoria – the Thomastown Futsal Oz Stadium – with a huge crowd expected to flock into the stadium to see the best of the best take to the court.

The Foz Cup will also see the presentation of a number of key awards from the 2016/17 Series Futsal Victoria premiership, including Most Valuable Player, Golden Boot, Golden Glove, Young Player of the Year, Manager of the Year and the State League champions.

Hume FC is the reigning Foz Cup champions.
