Texas Advanced Computing Center Presents:

Getting Started with Raspberry Pi

*Please Note* -- Waitlist Only -- *Please Note*

Friday, November 15, 2019

This one-day workshop (9:00 am-4:00 pm) is designed to help jump-start your digital making journey. You'll learn the basics of a Raspberry Pi computer and explore physical computing: lighting an LED light, activating a button and a buzzer, and using Scratch and Python code to control objects. If you've ever been interested in hands-on computing, this is a great way to build your skills and knowledge.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is donating all of the core hardware, including Raspberry Pi computers, SD cards, parts' packs, and power supplies, which will be yours to keep after attending. Come with an open mind ... leave with a Raspberry Pi starter kit!

This Raspberry Pi workshop is for all educators, including classroom teachers, librarians, technology coaches, after-school and community educators and beyond. No coding experience required.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. We expect very high interest in this workshop so apply to attend today: https://forms.gle/JUnbtU2QEs5WhuSdA
