The Flying Scotsman is set to pass Watford Junction station later this evening.
The iconic train left Keighley, East Yorkshire, today at 8.10am, travel through England on its way to East Grinstead, Sussex, where it will arrive at approximately 2am.
It is scheduled to steam past platform nine at the Watford station at around 6.15pm.
he train, built in Doncaster, first came into service on the London and North Eastern railway in 1923.
It ran the first daily service from London to Edinburgh, completing the run in eight hours.
The train was recently given a £4.2 million refurbishment and is running a tour programme this year.
