Dare the Wind
Irish sea captain Tristan O’Dea still feels the sting of rejection when he sails to Havre with a warning of danger to his commander Justin Vallé’s family and an offer of safe passage for his half-brother and sister and their mother, once Vallé’s late father’s favorite mistress. She’s an old soul and a period reenactor who’s been into corsets for centuries, although she wears them more to Civil War events these days.
Erinn has been involved in the metaphysical community for over twenty-five years. She is a Reiki Master and crystal healer whose work encompasses this and other lifetimes.
Erinn was fortunate enough to meet her soul mate early on. She married her high school sweetheart, raised two children, and began writing at her husband's suggestion. She has been published as Nia Farrell in erotic romance since 2015. Ride the Wind is her debut romance novel.

Jess dared to reach for what she wanted!
Dare the Wind (Touch the Wind, #4) by Erinn Ellender Quinn is a totally engrossing historical romance. It's the fourth in a series that can be enjoyed when read as a stand-alone, but you will definitely want to read the whole series! The skill of this author to provide pertinent back stories and introduction of characters is admirable.
The heroine of this novel is a beautiful, intelligent, multi-talented, confident woman who has had to become strong, during a time when women were afforded no real rights or power. The hero is a giant of an Irish sea captain, who is respected by all.
There is only one thing about this novel that I wish were different - I would have loved it to have not ended. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and engrossing read, and I'm so looking forward to more in this series.

This has been my favorite of the series. To finally see O'Dea with the right woman with clues as to what has happened in the others lives. Filled with love, music, steam and a background romance in the making. If you haven't read this series I highly suggest it!
