Chefs Club is a semi-fancy Nolita space that hosts different chef and restaurant residencies, and through the end of March, a Washington DC spot called The Dabney is here. And the food is very good. It’s farm-to-table Southern-ish, which means everything from a “salad” with bacon and hushpuppies, to little fried chicken sliders on sweet potato buns, to some surprisingly great trout. If you’re looking for something a bit different, and a bit fleeting, check this place out. We don’t know what they’re doing at Chefs Club next, but based on this experience, we’d be willing to go back and try other pop-ups.
