AGBU is hosting a full day event on the Creative and Cultural Industries in Armenia. At the heart of this event is the aim to unite key stakeholders and players in the CCI’s in Armenia - from artists, to creative start-ups, to international organizations working to better existing infrastructure - in order to collectively design a vision. Where do we see Armenia ten years down the road in the CCI’s? AGBU is asking its event partners and participants to think together in order to define the ideal eco-system for helping young innovators step-up and transform ideas into realities, and consequently determine a strategy to get there. The day begins with a panel discussion on the current climate of the CCI’s in Armenia, a conversation co-lead by UNDP’s Kolba labs, and with the participation of the British Council, EU4business, and creative players in the arts, education, and design. The day continues with sector-specific THINKshops as well as several exciting showcase presentations on Creative Gastronomy (Ingredient), Creative Oenology (KEUSH), and finally ending with an exclusive preview of the UP Design Pavilion - an exhibit uniting Armenian designers and artisans to re-think the future of design in Armenia.
