I'm a Lisa Suzanne fanatic! She is one author I'll always one click, no matter what. I don't care what she writes, I will read it. Lisa is good at writing great characters, hot guys, and awesome banter. But this book? Gah! I flippin loved, LOVED Sylvie and Carson! I haven't loved her characters this much since Jesse Drake in Separation Anxiety! Sylvie was a sassy mouthed, strong willed woman that wasn't about to be taken down by a man. Even if that man was as sexy and sinful as Carson King! Because Carson King? Carson King is as sexy and sinful as they come. Holy hell, does he know how to be that guy, and I am not even ashamed to admit I loved him that much. Usually guys like that in books come off too cocky for me but he took cocky and made it his bitch. And boy did I eat up every word of his. The chemistry was off the charts, just the interaction between Sylvie and Carson was hot. I could not wait til the sexy parts because let's face it, when two characters are that into each other and so perfect it's amazing when they get between the sheets.

This story flowed perfectly, pulled you in, held you hostage, then BAM. It gives you everything you could want in a story, humor, sass, sexy, off the chart banter. I was so invested and the build up was just enough and not over the top. I loved every single word and didn't want it to end! PERFECTION! Thank you Lisa Suzanne for writing another kick ass book! Keep it up, you're pretty good at it!

I love these books! Lisa just keeps outdoing herself every time. Carson is such a playboy, he lives everyday with a new woman. Settling down has always been something that was so far off in the future it wasn't in his radar. As he gets closer to becoming CEO of King Enterprises he feels like something might be missing but pushes it away. Then he meets Sylvie. She is the daughter of the company his father has sent him to takeover. She has a immediate dislike for him for that. The downside for them both it the natural chemistry and immediate attraction they both feel towards each other. She has set herself on a path for her life and meeting Carson has put a wrench in those plans because he makes her feel a fire she hasn't ever felt. He begins to have feelings of maybe this is it? Has the King curse struck again? I just loved this book. I really have nothing bad to say about this book. I read this book in advance for an honest review. It was nice to hear about Carter and Courtney, and Axel and Emme. You don't have to read their books but they are just as good why not!! No cheating, no cliffhanger and a HEA. Enjoy!

I fell in love with this series with the first two books,, but I would have to say this installment in the series was the best one yet. Carson finally feels like he needs to get rid of his playboy tendencies, unfortunately the woman who he wants to change with is already in a relationship with another man. Carson decides to wait for her. This story had it all, my emotions were all over the place. I wanted so badly for Carson to win Sylvie in the end and the twists and turns, the heartbreak and the defeat made it so I could not put it down. You will not be disappointed when you chose this book. I highly recommend it!!

Detailed sex-scene with OW before he met the h.
After he met her he admired the backside of his married PA.
Insta-lust.
She rejected him (she had a bf).
He slept with OW only a couple hours later after he had dinner with the h.
After that he couldn't stop thinking about her and since a taken woman was NEVER  a reason not to f*ck her -> it means he slept with married / engaged women in the past, he decided to outwait the h, or better said her bf.
She was of course in lust with him, but didn't want to cheat on her bf.
Suddenly the bf wasn't that good - he betrayed her father in business, he wasn't a good lover -> loser?!

Who was better? Of course the OTT manwhore who slept with half of NY women. Yes!!! What could be sexier than a man without morals, who f*cked married women?
Silly me! Of course it was ok, because he was rich, good looking and had a big c*ck!!!
Her bf proposed, she nodded, he put a ring on her finger and the male protagonist was hurt. She came to his room, said she wanted him, almost begged him to f*ck her, but fortunately he didn't. So, no cheating.

She broke up with her fiancé, told her parents she was in love with her father's business rival. And after her father said that that man slept with half of NY, her mother told: so what? No one is innocent.
Come again? You, as a mother, was totally fein, that your daughter came togethet with one of the biggest manwhores in the city?! 😨
Yada, yada, yada. She came to him, they kissed, they had dinner and talked about safety. He said he always wore condoms and had annual check-ups. She said: cool, let's f*ck bare!!! Last annual check-up was... when? Last year, this year? Before he slept with xx women this month, after he slept with last OW? It wasn't mentioned 😷😤😨

HEA? I don't know... would you see the life with a man, who had no morals and slept with married women, as HEA?..

I have loved this romance series by Lisa Suzanne! I am so glad to finally get the full story on the elusive, mystery, playboy that is Carson King! This slow burn boardroom to the bedroom keeps you turning the pages wanting to know if the sparks between Carson & Sylvie will change their current life plans. Does Sylvie want to alter her happily ever after or keep to her business dinners/non-dates with Carson King? "I have a crush on someone who isn't my boyfriend."

I wish there was another King to keep this series going as I have loved seeing these characters find their happily ever afters in San Diego! Thank you Lisa Suzanne for giving us the King men!!!

From the way this book begins I never expected Carson King to be a gentleman, but he ended up being one of the biggest I've ever read about. Of course he's dirty in the bedroom but in every other aspect he is actually super respectful and caring. He's dream worthy and his kindness and unwavering affection really just made me swoon. The connection of Carson and Sylvie is strong and unmistakable; its touching, heartwarming and romantic. I liked that there wasn't much drama in this book, there was a problem of course but instead of dwelling on it or creating more drama than necessary there was only the one big problem and it was solved in a great way instead of drawing it out. Where Courtney was my favorite female in the series Carson is easily my favorite male. I could not put this book down (a problem I face with every Lisa Suzanne book). I want a Carson for myself, a man willing to confront his deepest fears and secrets to be with me, umm yes please. I really couldn't believe the kind of man Carson King truly was. Sexy, strong, cocky (is he though deep down?) and willing to do whatever it takes for the people he cares about. One of the best books in the series, probably because it was so unexpected. This book is as always extremely well written and emotional. I know I really love a book if it makes me cry, (yes a happy ending if the book was amazing always makes me cry. So not from sadness or anything but just because I'm a sucker for love.) this book had me tearing up at the end. This is probably the most romantic book Lisa Suzanne has written, it just touched me in the best possible way.

This book was so good. It had a plot, it flowed, the whole book wasn't just about sex, andI didn't want to put it down. So many books are mainly a couple having sex. I don't mind reading about sex, but I want something substantial to the book and this book had it.

Carter King was being groomed to take over as CEO of King Communications and his father sent him to San Diego to talk to Baker Media to try and talk their CEO into selling, but it was a no go. Unfortunately that left a hostile takeover which Carter stated would happen. Carter is back in New York in a meeting when a woman barges in asking for him. Carter is trying to think if she was one of the woman he had sex with since he had someone new about every night. But she wasn't his usual type. The woman was Sylvia Baker, the daughter of the CEO King Communications was going to take over. Carter is instantly attracted to Sylvia and coerces her into having dinner with him. She makes herself perfectly clear that she has a boyfriend and that he will not get in her pants. Unfortunately she is attracted to him, but won't let it show. When she gets back to San Diego she can't quit thinking about him even though she lives with her boyfriend. Carter can't stop thinking about her and makes up an excuse to go to San Diego.

Sylvia has so much conflict going on regarding her boyfriend William, the takeover, and Carson. Ms. Suzanne does a great job of pushing and pulling between Sylvia and Carson. I loved seeing Carson mature and decide that a different woman every night is not what he wants. There are secrets some people are keeping that cause conflicts. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Omg I was so freaking excited to read this story, I really had to take my time and just soak up Sylvie and Carson. Their story is one that is worth taking the time to read, so many ups and downs. Your head spins on every page and makes everything worth it. Carson is this alphaish, man whore who deeo down is caring and very loving and just taking one day at a time. Sylvie this bright and loving woman who just wants to make everyone happy...that is until she meets Caraon King. This story will have you on a whirlwind of emotions from happy to sad to joy in the matter of mintues. You get happy emotions more then the sad. Its a happy and joyful story one thay keeps you on your toes. Not my first time reading anything by this author and wont be my last. Carson and Sylvie might be my top fav couple next to Carson and Courtney, Axel and Emme. Trust me when I say you have got to read this story, Lisa just blows your mind with this story. #MustRead

Outwait by Lisa Suzanne is the third book set in the world of the Kings. We see the return of Carter and Courtney as well as Axel and Emme but the focus of this story is Carson. We've heard about Carson in previous books (although you absolutely don't NEED to read the first two to understand this one...you may want to anyway because they were both so good). He is the quintessential, any girl (port) in a storm guy. He had absolutely no desire to have any kind of commitment with another woman. He does not want to fall down that rabbit hole his brother and cousin fell in. BUT, he does believe in that love at first sight, and you know when you know philosphy because his parents lived it as did his brother. He just doesn't believe that he is cut out for it. Sylvie crosses his path. She has her life all figured out. She has the perfect man, perfect job, perfect house. Nothing is missing, lacking or wanting in her life. Well except for maybe having Carson King leave her father's business alone and get out of her line of sight. Not everything is at it seems though. Is it possible that Carson wants more? Is there even the slightest chance that he may actually want that happily ever after? Read Outwait to find out. There are enough secrets, surprises, love and steam to go around!

Outwait may be book three in the King series, but each can be read as a standalone. While you do see Carter and Courtney and Axel and Emme make an appearance you do not have to read their books to read about this King. I missed a book in the series (so sad), but since each book is about a different King you can follow along just fine.
Carson we knew was a playboy and groomed to be CEO of King Communications, but what we see on the outside isn't always who that person is and we see this with Carson. He has a side that is softer and caring that makes your heart swoon, but he is still his cocky self that we love to see.
Sylvie has it all including her life planned out and where she is headed or so she thinks. When her families company, Baker Communications is about to be bought by King Communications she starts to see that maybe this is not the life planning she wants. She is completely opposite of Carson's usual daily dose and from the moment she steps foot in that conference room both of them start to question their life decisions.
The King curse may just have landed on Carson, whether he wants to believe this or not. Both Carson an Sylvie are stubborn to a point and their passion for their companies and self make them who they are. I loved how they reveal secrets to the enemy you can say, but they knew that it needed to be released for them both to see they are more alike than they thought. For being a manwhore, Carson sure was able to Outwait Sylvie no matter how strong the temptation pulls them too. Oh, don't you worry once the wait is over the page may explode with how HOT their passion is for each other. You should sit back and eat some cupcakes until this happens. haha.
For those of you who do not enjoy reading cheater books, I can definitely say that there is no cheating when it came to their story. Hence, the title, Outwait. While reading this story, all I kept singing in my head was the song, "Break up with him" by Old Dominion. You will see that Sylvie was never meant to stay in her dead end life with William. There was something about him that you knew was not right no matter how sweet he was, but the best is the employee meeting between William and Carson. That was funny!
Once again Lisa has gave us the passion, the twist of what we thought the characters were like from seeing them in other books (so wrong let me say, he was even better than what we saw) and a story that keeps you reading to the end to see if we can get that HEA we are hoping for. You will soon find out after reading one of her books, that you don't need to read a synopsis to enjoy her books, you just read them and fall in love with them.

Even though this is my first novel by this author, I really liked it. Her writing had me captivated and burning through the pages so fast I was sad when this story was over, so I one-clicked Stalemate and Clickbait so I wouldn't get too lonely. The natural chemistry between Sylvie Baker and Carson King was through the roof and I loved the slow burn of the whole situation.
Carson has been groomed to be the CEO of King Communications all of his life, but now he feels as though it's not something he really wants (thoughts of his brother, Carter, and his cousin, Axel, being married invoke a sense of jealousy in him) and he knows he should be happy to be taking the helm of a billion-dollar company, but he feels something is off in his life. His father sends him to San Diego to convince the CEO of Baker Media to sell the company, but when Mr. Rob Baker refuses, Carson has to confront him with the truth and numbers (which Carson does not like because he isn't a confrontational man), but Mr. Brown is solid in his refusal to sell.
While in attendance at a company boardroom meeting that he doesn't want to be at because he is hungover from hanging out with friends the night prior, Sylvie barges into the boardroom to confront him on the hostile takeover of her father's company, Baker Media. Sylvie has an instant hate for Carson before she even meets him for the way he treated her father and threatened to convince the board members to turn over on her father. But she also has an instant attraction to him that messes with her head and her outlook on her seemingly perfect life. Her perfect boyfriend, perfect job, and perfect everything are at jeopardy if she acts on her attraction to a known playboy and, logically, that is just foolish... or is it if the thought of being with Carson brings her pleasure?
Will Carson be able to outwait her resilience or will this chance to be with a woman worth more than one night pass him by?

I have absolutely adored this series, and from the little we've gleaned of Carson King from Clickbait (Carter/Courtney's story) and Stalemate (Axel/Emme's story), you could just TELL that the womanizer was going to fall HARD when his time comes. And boy, did Carson fall hard!

Carson doesn't like commitment to anything other than his job. He doesn't like messy emotions or confrontation. And most of all, Carson doesn't want the CEO position that he's expected to assume when his father retires. But that all changes when he meets Sylie Baker, an executive at another technology company King is hoping to acquire and the daughter of that company's CEO. Suddenly, everything Carson expected his life to be doesn't feel right, like he's woken from a slumber.

"Everything that was black and white is suddenly all these vibrant shades of color."

Lisa Suzanne took everything we've seen of Carson in the first two installments of this series and turned it upside down -- exactly how Sylvie turns his world on its end when she storms into his boardroom, raging mad. Who knew Carson could be such a gentleman? Who knew that Carson could shuck his flavors-of-the-week because he got stuck on one woman and was willing to wait for her to be single and freely be his?

Meanwhile, Sylvie's struggle is clear-cut, and the reader goes through the mental anguish with her as she begins to develop feelings for a business associate when she's about to become engaged to her family's corporate attorney.

"He's a magnet and I'm a piece of metal. I'm drawn to him and I have no idea how to fight against it."

Lisa Suzanne did a FABULOUS job of making this relationship a slow, slow burn. And once Sylvie and Carson finally -- FINALLY! -- got together, I had invested so much in wanting them to be together as a couple, it was (just as Carson felt) worth the wait!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

I love these series by Lisa Suzanne!!! She writes about these alpha males that love to take on a challenge. And it seems that those challenges don't come from the boardroom. Nope, they come from feisty and fiery woman who are ready to take charge. That is until they are spellbound by these men. Outwait brings on the challenge between Carson and Sylvie. I was glued to the book through and through. Carson is not your ordinary man that is ready to become CEO of Kings Communication. He cringes at the thought, but does what he was groomed to do. He is working on a hostile takeover in the West Coast side until unexpectedly a bombshell interrupts a board meeting.

Sylvie is passionate about her family and their business. For years they have been successful until the last year. She does not want to admit they need help and want to keep the business within the family legacy. When she hears that Kings Communications is going to take over the business, she flies to the East Coast to have the fight of her life. Only thing is that she thought it was going to be about her company, and not with her heart. She has a boyfriend, a career, a house, and a loving family. So why is she having this amazing chemistry with Carson King. After all the advances Carson has made, he is determined to out wait the hurdles that keeps Sylvie at arms length. Can he do this? Or will he go back to the easy life and his one night stand ways?

Outwait has its laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed the bantering with the King's men and their extended family. When Sylvie and Carson are together the sparks fly and the anticipation is about to burst. Outwait is definitely sexy and will take you away to another world. I loved the escape this b00k gave me and you will too!!!

Amazing story about how some things are worth waiting for.
http://thesecretworldofbooklovers.blo...
Carson was a really intense character, first impression is he is an douche, he takes what he wants and no is not an acceptable answer in his book.
He has two distinct different sides one is this sex addict who takes every woman he wants and he almost never goes for seconds; he has all of the woman in New York available because of his mogul status and he loves it. Then there's this boy within him, who has been fighting for his parents approval since he can remember and now he is in line for a position he is not sure he wants.

His life changes when Sylvie walks into his office and now there's no turning back, he wants her.
But Sylvie is not up for the taking and for the first time in his life there's something he can't have and it seems he has never wanted anything more.

She gave the impression she was put together and had her life figured out, but she soon realises that what she thought she wanted might not be what she needs after all.

What I love the most about this book was that both characters seemed to awaken each other when they met and their attraction keeps intensifying until there's nothing they can do to fight it. They argue and go at each other throats most of the time and surprisingly that makes them the happiest they have ever been.

True love can sometimes take you by surprise and I identified with her a lot, I was once also in that situation when meeting someone knocks you off your feet and you feel like you have forgotten what living looked and felt like until that moment.

A must read!

I really enjoyed Outwait. It was my first book by Lisa Suzanne. I loved the slow-burn feel of the start of this story. Carson is a playboy. He is on the outside a self-assured, successful businessman, but underneath unhappy with his job, but doing everything to keep his family happy and avoid confrontation.

“I’m trying so hard to do the right thing by you. I need to kiss you. I need to feel you.” His eyes darken. “I need to fuck you like I need air to breathe, but I won’t touch you until I know you’re only mine.”

Sylvie is learning that her strong father is battling illness while trying to run his company. She attempts to stop Carson King's company from taking over her family's business.

"He’s tearing apart my family business without a damn care in the world. He’ll move on to the next company after he hurricanes his way through mine. He’ll leave destruction in his wake, and he’ll just keep padding his bank account with more money while putting people I love and care about out of their jobs."

As someone who watched the effects of Parkinson's cause her own dad's body to fail him, this part of the story really tore at my heart!

“How am I supposed to watch my dad—my hero—as his body starts to fail him?” She’s whispering the words, and I know she’s speaking her biggest fears aloud for the first time."

Carson and Sylvie's journey was definitely not a smooth one and their choices were never easy. I loved the story and was so glad that Carson decided to outwait any obstacles that were put in their way.

"People come and go from our lives all the time. Why is it that some make a bigger impact than others?"

Confession time: I haven't read a Lisa Suzanne title in well over a year (not even the other standalone novels that tie all the characters here together). But this cover and then the blurb totally piqued my interest. Outwait, despite the title, goes for it right out of the gate! I liked that it was kinda crude but not too crude to make me cringe.

It was Carson, a wealthy and good looking guy being a guy. And Sylvie trying to hold onto some semblance of normal when everything around her was changing. There was no denying the attraction between the two. While Carson saw it as a challenge, Sylvie saw it as a disaster waiting to happen- plus she has a boyfriend. I have to say that I liked Carson's relentless pursuit of what he wanted. And how he really opened himself up to Sylvie. He showed her a side of himself that very few (his family) ever got see.

There was more than one obstacle standing in the way of their happiness. Family. Work. Distance. Pressure. Obligation. I really liked how Carson followed in his King family tradition of when you know, you know. And he went all out to get what he really wanted and that was Sylvie. All that being said, I found the connection to be a bit lacking. However, Outwait was still quite enjoyable- funny, sexy and quirky with a cast of characters that brought home the true meaning of family.

I am not sure where I landed with this story. At first, I didn't like Carson. He seemed like a selfish brat but as the story progresses we see how he changes for the love of a woman. Only problem is that I did not like the woman.

I did not like Sylvie at all. And the reason why is because she also seemed like a selfish brat, but unlike Carson, she didn't change. She continued to hold a giant grudge against her boyfriend while stringing him along with no real effort or desire to be with him. Then when she finally decides to be with Carson she throws him away with no real reason (except she is mad he lied once about something that, to my opinion, shouldn't have been as big of a thing as it was). She runs to Carson and practically begs him to take her with no care to her boyfriend or his feelings. Cheating in books (when it's the hero and heroine are doing it to be together) is not necessarily a non starter for me but for me it just felt rude and disrespectful.

My favorite part of the story is the development of Carson. While he may be annoying at the beginning of the story I end up liking him at the end of the story and that is what I like to happen. I like getting to know and liking characters over a book because it shows development. There isn't a whole lot to the romance department just a scene or two and I may have liked it more if there were more angsty scenes.

This is my favorite book of Lisa's so far. The characters had depth, hidden emotional struggles, and integrity. Carson appears to be shallow at first, but I found that he just seemed to be lost in a way. It was the same feeling I got with Sylvie. She was living her comfortable life by a schedule that she created to ensure their weren't many surprises. It wasn't until these two come face to face that their carefully crafted worlds are blown apart.

Carson and Sylvie are the perfect combination of fiery passion and soul-deep connection. From the moment they met, their response to each other was unlike anything either had experienced before. Like all the men in the King family, Carson finally found the one. Unfortunately for him (maybe it was poetic justice), he would have to work harder than any other to finally achieve his happily ever after. I loved their journey and how their relationship developed. I was pleasantly surprised by the realism and rawness of these characters and how beautifully their story was told. I'm also thankful for the lack of infidelity. As it was made clear by both Carson and Sylvie, how could they start something based on deception?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book.

Timing....it can be perfect, it can be horrible....it can be meant to change everything... it could be right.

Sylvie walks into Carson’s office angry about the to buy her families company. To make matters worse these two connect and he doesn’t do connections. He likes to fool around without commitment, one night, no feelings, no HEA. She doesn’t need this complication, she’s living with her boyfriend who also works for her company. She has her life planned out.

These two collide. First about business then his forthcoming pursuit of her and her quiet denial of any attraction towards him.

And then the revelations keep pouring out, til neither of their lives were untouched by changes.

But when you know, you know right?

Carson is the opposite of his bother at least until he basically imprints on Sylvie. Oh how the mighty fall. Then after meeting him in Clickbait, seeing him briefly in stalemate you get to know the man behind it all.

I love the ending.... but I wish I could see both of their reactions to those milestones. This will be a close group.

Carter & Courtney +2, Axel & Emme +2, Carson and Sylvie.....I’m not telling. Read it you’ll like it. No cheating either. Just all heart and horniness.

Lisa Suzanne has made me one happy reader. In the past, I've given her grief for cheating that occurs in her books. She has given me a H.O.T. male character in Carson King who is certain that Sylvie Baker is worth the wait!

It's a refreshing angle that isn't often broached, at least in the books that I have read & I can honestly say this book & this storyline was #worththewait !!

Thank you, Lisa Suzanne, for showing me that delayed gratification can be oh so good - the tension builds, the fire smolders & then finally we are given an inferno.

The push & pull, the banter & the verbal and physical tug-a-war are all foreplay.

Carson is tenacious and steadfast in what he wants. His integrity and morals are very refreshing. That's not to say that he doesn't struggle with what he wants or how to go about getting it, but in the end, good prevails.

"I know what I want, too. But it's not mine to have. Not yet."

Lisa Suzanne has written another wonderful book. I met Carson in the other two books in the series, and what we knew about him is that he was a player. He would bring home a different woman each night. Actually, it was go to a different woman's home each night. That way, he could leave whenever he wanted to. He is also going to become CEO of his family's company soon. You have heard of the words, true love at first sight, that there is a fine line between love and hate, both of which we see in this book as Carson meets Sylvie, the daughter of the CEO of her family's company that Carson's company is taking through a hostel takeover. Sparks are definitely flying, which really contributes to the story. There ars lots of changes coming for both if them. I really like Carson in this book. There is so much more to him, than we realized. I also really like the no cheating, and getting caught up with the lives of some of the people from the previous books. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it.

If you're into books where the main characters spend the first 80% of the book NOT together, where the female is with another man and the male main character is a reforming manwhore, then this is a book you should read.

I wish there was a little bit more balance in the book between the time they spend developing a feelings for each other and when the finally get together. I get that Sylvie was torn between the life she thought she wanted and had invested in for two years and the complete risk that Carson presented, but she strung along her boyfriend and wasn't honest with him and the book tries to make him out to be the bad guy.

Then 80% of the way through the book, she has an epiphany and decides she wants to be with Carson and we get a short little blurb on how their lives just work out, no details or anything. We're just supposed to assume that they are happy and in love based on a short snippet of a book. I feel like I invested my time into reading about the two of them together and I know more about her relationship with another man than I do about Carson!

Carson is the typical manwhore who works at his father's company and is about to buy another company, Baker, to incorporate into the King conglomerate. Despite the arrogant and powerful facade, he does not like to face people and unpleasant situations leave him distressed. He compensates for this stress by taking all the women he can and wants.

Sylvie is an impetuous and determined girl who believes that life could not be better until having to face Carson to defend the company of her father.

The chemistry between them is instantaneous, but Sylivie is not even unwilling to step out of her comfort zone to have to deal with a guy like Carson.

Narrated in the first person alternately by Carson and Sylvie, I gradually followed their approach that begins with secrets and ends with confessions and decisions that change their lives radically.

Outwait by Lisa Suzanne is the third book in this series. Outwait can easily be read as a stand alone. There are only a few cross-over from previous books.
I loved book one - Clickbait (my favorite read) and book two Stalemate.

Outwait is Carson and Sylvie´s book.
Carson King, womanizer and next CEO of King Communications is a happy single. Until a fiery woman storms his meeting and reads him the riot act.
Sylvie Baker is stubborn, impulsive and he wants her. He firmly believes he only has to outwait her to make her his own.
They argue, they bicker and negotiate. And I greatly enjoyed all this. I read this book in one sitting, I couldn´t put it down. I love the characters, the old friends and new acquaintances.
I give 4,5 Stars , thank you Lisa Suzanne.

I loved this one. Carson is a rich playboy. He's next in line to run King Communications. He is in charge of taking over Baker Media. The CEO of Baker Media is Sylvia's dad. That is how Carson meets Sylvia. Sylvia is a strong willed woman. She's a great character. Carson has his eyes set on her but she has a boyfriend. There is great chemistry between them that makes Sylvia question her current relationship. I loved how Carson doesn't take no for and answer and keeps trying to get Sylvia to go to dinner with him. As the takeover of Baker Media goes forward, Sylvia finds more things out. In the business world Carson is ruthless but when it comes to Sylvia he is patient and sweet. This a sweet nice read.

These are my Happily Ever After Novel Thoughts...

I'm crushing on Carson King so hard right now!! Single, successful, smoking hot, and yeah, he's a womanizing party boy. But he's still a pretty great guy underneath everything, it just takes an unconventional woman to wake him up to what he's missing out on life.

Sylvie Baker is strong and independent. She also drove me crazy with her wishy-washy attitude. Even though I can understand most of it, she did make me mad when she broke Carson's heart.

I love this story and Carson's such a sweet guy at heart.

Grab this story and fall in love as I did! You may find yourself a happily ever after or two.

I enjoyed Outwait, even though it took some time for me to get really into it. I loved Carson and Sylvie. It was clear that Sylvie initially hated Carson, but it was also clear that she was attracted to him. She denied and fought her feelings with all she had. Carson liked a challenge, and he knew in time Sylvie would be his. He just needed to outwait her, until she accepted the truth. I loved the back and forth banter between Carson and Sylvie. It made the story very entertaining. I'd definitely recommend this book.

This book has everything! It has hate that turns into lust. It has lust that is forbidden. The forbidden turns into delicious angst. It has an alpha male that is hit by the love bug who doesn't understand what is going on and a heroine is a strong, kick-ass woman. We revisit some beloved characters from the past. There is so much chemistry that it drips off the pages. This was my favorite book in the series. You couldn't NOT fall in love with Carson and Sylvie. I love strong characters in a book and these two totally fit that bill.
