Despite both the AFL and VFL Hawks' line ups experiencing success on the field, the past round was not without its injury concerns.

It was a bitter blow for young Hawk Jonathan O'Rourke, as he re-injured his hamstring during the third quarter of Box Hill's clash with Geelong.

"It looks like it's quite a significant hamstring injury," said Elite Performance Manager Andrew Russell.

"He's probably going to spend eight to ten weeks on the sidelines to try and get that hamstring right."

See the above video report for a detailed run down of Hawthorn's injury concerns, including updates on Jaeger O'Meara and Grant Birchall.
