*FREE EVENT*

Edward Snowden, Julian Assange and Hilary Clinton all have one thing in common – no they’re not our guest speakers – BUT they are infamously connected with alleged breaches of data protection.

And so, although data protection is not one of the most exciting subjects, as charities it is essential that we have robust policies and procedures in place to ensure that the personal information we hold about our beneficiaries, supporters and partners is kept secure.

This event will help you to understand the requirements of the soon to be law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how you can prepare as a charity to comply with that law.

Our guest speaker for the event is Paul Barks. Paul is the head of the NCC Group Privacy Team, which specialises in assisting organisations in Data Protection matters including the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) along with overseas regulations.

There will also be a chance for Q&A with Paul and a panel of experts in all things GDPR and charity.
