All of Disney’s themed resort hotels take guests to faraway lands, moments in time and inside beloved stories. They’re truly extensions of the wondrous theme parks.

Once you and your kids discover some of the specialty offerings like camping at Fort Wilderness or the pirate or princess-themed rooms, it’s like finding a buried treasure. These accommodations put you in the middle of the story where you can act out your inner princess, buccaneer and so much more! Mateys can set sail at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and slumber in a pirate ship bed, or get the fairytale treatment at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside storybook rooms where royalty rules.

There’s also Disney’s Art of Animation Resort where storybook landscapes and icons from classics like “Finding Nemo,” “Cars,” “The Little Mermaid” and “The Lion King” come to life. And get ready for an out-of-this-world experience when the new Star Wars-inspired resort opens — escalating the immersion like never before. So let’s take a look at how Disney can put you inside the magic of its resort hotels.

  • Awesome! Need to do more of this! What’s the point of staying in EXPENSIVE Disney hotel if it’s not themed? I also wish ALL Disney resorts had activity centers. Our daughter loves them but they took it out of Wilderness Lodge. WHY?!!!! Gives much needed break from mom and dad, and parents can enjoy a relaxing dinner. Please put one in every Disney hotel.

  • Use to be all resorts room were themed to its resort not just the up-charged rooms. Shame that the refurbished resort rooms took out the charm and now have the generic look of any other “modern” off-site hotel room. I miss that.

  • I’m looking forward to staying in all of them#
