Inferno #3

Redemption's Inferno

Rate this book
Emilie Sjoberg is haunted by her past. As the manager of a Las Vegas sex club she's no stranger to bindings, but she can't shake the dreams that hold her down. Unable to put together the details of what happened, she's determined to find out -- no matter the cost.

Darryl "Chains" Carruthers never looked back after he left the elite British intelligence agency, MI6, because of a brutally failed mission. Currently the head of security at a sex club, he's slowly rebuilding his life.

When his beautiful but mysterious boss disappears, Chains must revisit his own troubling past to find her because the past hasn't forgotten about either of them. As their feelings start to twist into something stronger than ever expected, they prepare to face it together. Chains will do anything to offer Emilie the redemption she desperately seeks and she's finally found the only Chains she'll ever need...but the cost of their picture-perfect future may be too high.

Author's Note: This series is somewhat darker than my other books. Although they are all HEA's, there are elements of BDSM, ménage, hate crimes, vigilante justice and LGBTQ relationships throughout the series. If you're concerned about trigger warnings, this may not be the series for you.

This rates 4.5 stars from me.

After the intense steam of the two previous Inferno books this one almost seems tame in comparison, and certainly not what you would expect (at first) from a book about Emilie. I don't think there was any real sex until almost half way through the book. That doesn't mean that this isn't as good a book as the previous two, it was just one that it explored other aspects of relationships. Salvation's Inferno had explored the 'kink' side of things and Temptation's Inferno explored love that society isn't always accepting of. Redemption's Inferno is about facing ones demons, coming to terms with the past and having faith in a relationship.

This, like all of Kat's books, is very well written, keeps you engaged from the off, has all the well loved characters from her previous books, as well as a few new ones, and has an extremely well thought through plot. The main characters are likeable and believable, even though both are haunted by their pasts and can't move on because of that. I felt more connected with Em, I didn't engage quite so much with Darryl, his emotions were less evident but then he is meant to be a reserved and quite person. What I did love about Darryl (particularly as someone from the East Midlands and not too far from Derby and other places mentioned in the book) was how he 'felt' British. How he spoke etc was very realistic and Kat really did her research well on this one.

I did buy into the relationship between Em and Darryl. It was surprisingly vanilla, given their backgrounds, but it worked and was both believable and also wonderfully sweet and sexy at the same time. Whilst the relationship was very much central in the first two books, here the main focus on the story was much more Em and Darryl getting their lives sorted, so that they were in the right place mentally and emotionally to start one. For Darryl this included a whole lot of mystery, suspense and intrigue and for Em a whole lot of emotional pain. This part of the plot had some excellent twists and revelations, really adding depth to the story.

As with all of Kat's books there are sub-plots galore, all of which add extra aspects to the story. The wife on one of the hockey players has a small but important role later in the book, and whilst part of you might think how convenient, the old adage 'It's a small world' springs to mind.

I'm hoping that Kat decides to add to this series at some point in the future and am now definitely addicted to her books.

Title: Redemption's Inferno
Author: Kat Mizera

4 unexpected stars

The first novel I've read from Kat Mizera, it was the previous book from this series, the Inferno series, Temptation's Inferno, and i plotted through that book like nobody's business, instantly captivated by Jamie and Viggo's story. I had to find out what was to happen between these two and the way that Kat Mizera tackled the hard facts of bisexuality was done in such a way that it stays with you. Of course, with the ending that she made, I knew I needed to find out what was going to happen to Emily and why she was acting like she was through out the second instalment of the series.

4 breath taking dreams

I don't think I could have guessed the secret that Emily kept to herself, and it makes more sense as to why she was so troubled. Neither was I easy to find out that Chains was ready to do everything to help, to make her deal with her issues and to prove to her that she is breathtaking. While I was instantly and thoroughly captivated by the previous book,it took a bit longer for me to get into this book. Maybe because it wasn't centered on the physical attraction as the primary reason that Chains and Emily got together, but rather to figure out how to help each other. There was more of a story behind the story and that was enough to keep me coming back for more from this book. For sure I will be reading more from Kat Mizera in the future, because let's face it, she knows how to write a story that tugs at your heart when you least expect it.

There was a lot going on in this one, things you saw hints of in other books. Emilie was a hot mess, one with lots of demons. It was nice that with this book she was able to put those demons to rest and nothing was as bad as she thought. Better was that as she learned all of this stuff Chains was there by her side. Neither of them really saw anything between them until they had this sort of quiet time. I'm glad that both of them went for it and that Chains was open to the odd relationship that Emilie had with Jaime and Viggo, something that became more important than ever. Chains had his owns ghost to deal with. I'm glad things got figured out, but it sucked learned what he did and how he was betrayed. But with both of their pasts settled, it was full steam ahead for them to live their lives happy.

Redemption’s Inferno by Kat Mizera is the conclusion of The Inferno Series and it can be read as a standalone. In this book we will read Emilie and Chains’ story. These characters have something in common: the dark hidden in their soul because of their past. They don’t share the same past but the remorse.

During our life we made some mistakes that can mess up our future. Shadows ready to rip our souls with their dirty claws. Remorse can hurt us badly if we fail to fight our inner demons. But there is also another side of the coin. When a mistake was fault of the person we trust the most. The betrayal consumes our feelings and makes us distrust everyone around us.

Emilie who is involved in the BDSM world regrets something she did in the past. That mistake is eaten her slowly and she is afraid of losing her mind. In order to carry on with her life she has to do something to solve that mistake regardless of the consequences. She has to do it for herself and her daughter. She can’t allow the darkness to devour her soul. She needs to heal.

“I have to find redemption, Chains. I have to”.

Fortunately, she won’t be alone. Chains with help her to solve anything and take her home. Although she has a dominant personality, she needs to be taken care of. And the one for that job is Chains.

“She needs someone to heal her soul, and that’s exactly the type of the man you are”.

England is the place where the story between these two wounded souls is developed. And here is an extra point to Kat Mizera. Darryl, aka Chains, is a hot and arrogant version of James fucking Bond. He also has a past which made him dessert the armed forces. He left his mom and home for the purpose of save her life. This fact made him to turn into a lonely man who is not interested in marriage and forever love. He is afraid of losing everything.

Helping Emilie will be quite exciting as both will try to fight the heavy attraction. They shall not give in to desire ad lust because they work together. She is her boss and things could get more complicated for both of them.

“I don’t want to dominate you, Em. I want to be your equal”.

A series of unexpected events will make them refuge in themselves. They will give into their desires. Emilie will find redemption and Darryl, as protective as he is, will fight his demons and he will want more of life. They make a perfect couple. A sweet fact will change their relationship. They are stronger together.

I enjoy reading this book. For those who read Temptation's Inferno you will read more about Jamie and Viggo’ life. All these characters have stolen my hearth and I honestly can say that Kat Mizera did a great job developing their stories. There is much more to read in the future projects of this great author.

This book is out of the ordinary. Topics like redemption, betrayals, hope and love are filling this series. Trust in my word. If you are searching something new and refreshing I invite you to pick this book. (Between us, I loved British boy so I fall hard for Chains).

I was truly anticipating Emilie and Chain’s story, as we have gotten sneak peeks of these characters from the previous books in this series, and Kat Mizera did not disappoint!

Emilie is a lost soul. Recently divorced from her childhood friend, Emilie is being tormented by guilt from an event in her past. Deciding she finally must face the truth and consequences of her actions she flees from her home in Vegas to seek answers. The only thing currently helping to keep her from herself completely to her guilt is seeking out the pain and humiliation of unhealthy BDSM acts that cause her to focus on something else for a brief time.

Darryl “Chains” Carruthers is also running from his past. A former operative for MI6, Chains has cut himself off from friends and family in the hopes that they cannot be used against him should a past mission come back to haunt him. When friends ask him to find Emilie and bring her home, however, Chains agrees and soon finds himself more invested in the lovely Emilie than he ever thought was possible.

Kat Mizera wrote a beautiful story about two people afraid to build a future because of events in their past. While they had been co-workers in Vegas, neither truly saw the other as more than someone they worked with. Once placed in different circumstances, however, their chemistry explodes. Emilie makes Chains yearn for a future he never imagined, and Chains is the rock that can ground Emilie in ways that no one else has ever been able to do.

Of course, love is never easy, and the past never truly stays in the past. Redemption’s Inferno is a fast-based plot that has multiple unexpected twists and turns. It was great to catch up with Dante /Becca and Viggo/Jamie from books one and two. I love how their lives are intertwined and each book in the series feels like a natural progression in the story arc. As with all books in the series, Kat Mizera also tackles societal norms and expectations in beautiful ways. Jamie and Viggo fans will love the twist in this book that forever twines these couples together.

This is the third book in the Inferno series. I have really enjoyed all the books and have loved all the people. This one is a bit on the darker side to me anyway, and deeper. There are some triggers in her so be warned and go in with an open mind. It was written well and the pace picks up after a bit. I found it slow in the beginning. This book has everyone on in it. I like that we get to see how Viggo and Jamie are doing as well as the couple from the first book. Though, Jaime, Viggo, Emilie and Darryl “Chains” have a very unconventional relationship. This was one of the most, as I said unconventional books I have read but loved every minute of it. From the first page to the last word.

I liked Emilie in the previous book but I really liked her in this one. She is stronger than she thinks. I loved watching her grow. Even though she does some stupid things. There is sex here but not as prominent as the last two. She is going through a great deal. She has something major that she has kept to herself and she wants to face it head on, all by herself. So she leaves and doesn’t give anyone a reason why.

Chains works for Emilie and the club, and he is enlisted by a common friend to find out what is going on and to help her any way he can. When he shows up and forces his way in she is just that forced. He asks for a week to see if he can get to the bottom of it. Chains also has an agenda in clearing his name as well so he can move on free and clear. Chains was an MI6 agent at one time.

The passion and feelings between these two are amazing, I loved reading it and watching well reading them together. How they were what each other needed. This book was the perfect ending for everyone. The best HEA. I was shocked at the twist, but it was great. I did not see it coming at all. When you read it you will see what I am seeing.

Now I look forward to what this author is bringing us next.

Oh boy. I was so happy for the chance to read this book that I couldn't started it quickly...
Kat Mizera has a intense, hot writing full of mystery and suspense. She has a way with words that will leave you breathless.
Redemption's Inferno is the third book from the Inferno series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend you to read them all.
This books tells the stories of Emilie and Darryl.
Emilie is a reserved girl due to the fact that she had suffered so badly in the past. She's the manager of a club in Las Vegas but something is missing. She had lost her soul in the journey because the ghosts from that past that still haunts her. She opted to get away but after 5 years she needs to get back. She needs to face the past in order to move on.
Darryl is an ex M16 agent that now is the head of security in Emily's club. He's a reserved man but very loyal to his friends. But here's the secret, he was sent to protect and help her by a common friend.
When Emily travels back to her hometown he needs to be with her and help her out. But is this just a friendship or something more?
Can she overcome her the ghosts from her past or give in into the darkness?
I'm still shaking because the level of intensity is super high. The suspense, the crime, the darkness are in big prominence in this book as well as loyalty, love and friendship.
The dark scenes were intense and overwhelming but the hot scenes were super hot.
I was anxious and nervous reading a few chapters but also hopeful and happy reading others. And let me just say what a dark reading this was...
Kat Mizera I've read this series and I want more. I want more books from you because you manages to put yourself under my skin... Dayum woman...

Redemption's Inferno by Kat Mizera is the third book and conclusion to the Inferno Series.
Redemption's Inferno can be read as a stand alone, but I strongly recommend to read the books in order. There are crossover.
Salvation´s Inferno, book one, is Dante and Becca´s book.
Temptation´s Inferno, book two, is Jamie and Viggo´s book.
And Redemptions Inferno is Emilie and Chains´ book.

Meet Emilie Sjoberg, the ex-wife of Viggo and mother of his daughter.
She manages a club in Las Vegas. She doesn´t do well and wants to find out what happened to her i the past. She leaves Las Vegas and goes on a journey into her past.
Darryl-Chains- Carruthers is a ex MI6 agent and now head of security of the club Emilie manages.
When Emilie disappears he must revisit his past. A past that could be deadly.
Emilie fell into darkness, but Chains pulled her back into the light.
Meet old friends and family and new acquaintances and enemies.

Redemption's Inferno is my favorite book in this series. I loved Salvation´s Inferno and Temptation´s Inferno too - Temptation´s Inferno had me in tears the whole time. But Redemption's Inferno I really, really, love, love, love.
This book has everything in it. Great feelings, pain, desperation, salvations, sacrifice and love, always love.
I loved the characters and I loved the words. I could feel the characters emotions in the words.
This book is beautifully thought out, beautifully told and beautifully written.
I Highly recommend Redemption's Inferno and give 5 Stars. Thank you Kat Mizera !

Redemption's Inferno by Kat Mizera is a sexy tale of intrigue and mystery layered with an unconventional family love story. This is the third story in Kat's Inferno series and as always can be read as a standalone but better enjoyed in series order. Emilie Sjoberg is haunted by her past and even with the love of family and friends can't break free from ghosts of the past. Deciding that it's time to confront said ghosts Emilie travels to London to give in. Darryl “Chains” Carruthers is on a mission to find Emilie, after leaving her family in Las Vegas, and returning home to England after 5 years away is bringing back it's own set of ghosts for Chains. Concerned with the safety of his family he'll do anything to keep them safe even if it means putting his life on hold to make that happen.

I won't give away too much of the plot because I want everyone to enjoy this story for what it is. I did question Emilie's actions through the first half of the book but rode the waves and I really did enjoy the story Kat told us with this two characters. Chains is a character I would like to see a spinoff book written about his time with MI6. Kat does mystery really well and interconnecting earlier plots from her Sidewinder series was fantastic ~ Drake is my favorite from Kat's Sidewinders series. An great read with just the right amount of heat for the story being told. 4.5 Stars for Redemption's Inferno by Kat Mizera

This is the third book in the Inferno Series, yet can be read as a standalone. This was my very first Kat Mizera book and I wasn't disappointed!!!

Emilie is a lost soul. She's recently divorced, with a young daughter, but Emilie is being haunted by a guilt she can't recall. She decides she must face the truth of what happened all those years ago, and also accept the consequences. She flees from her home and goes to London to seek answers she needs. She is discovering that while she's a Dominatrix, the pain and humiliation she can receive as a slave, can help her elevate some of the guilt.

Darryl “Chains” Carruthers is a former operative for MI6. He's completely cut himself off from past friends and family in hopes of keeping them safe. When he is asked to find Emilie and being her home, he agrees.

Kat Mizera wrote a very beautiful love story. Two people so afraid to fall in love, yet couldn't hold back from each other. I loved watching their buildup. Chains and Emilie have known each other awhile. Working together in Vegas yet never saw each other as anything more.  However, that changes and HOLY HELL their chemistry COMBUSTS!!!

Redemption’s Inferno is an emotional rollercoaster. It has a multiple of unexpected ups and downs, twists and turns. I found it captivating, and beautifully written. I really can't wait to read more from Kat!

Redemption Inferno is book three of the Inferno Series which is a series that is a spin off from the Las Vegas Sidewinders series. This book can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading the other two in the series so that you have the backstory for all the characters that show up in the book. This book is very well written and has a great story too it. There is some violence and some sexual content. You will see some scenes that deal with BDSM but I felt the scenes are well written and are needed in the book. Emilie Sjoberg is the manager of a Las Vegas sex club but she has something that happened in her past that haunts her daily. Emilie keeps having nightmares because she is unable to remember every detail of what happened. She is sick of trying to remember so she decides to do what she needs to so she can figure it out no matter what the cost. Darryl “Chains” Carruthers is currently the head of security at the sex club that Emilie works at. Chain’s had once been part of the elite British intelligence agency, MIG until he was part of a failed mission that made him change his life. When Emilie ups and disappears Chians must deal with past issues to find her. As they spend more time together and their bond grows stronger they are prepared to face whatever life throws at them together. What will these two go through to get their happily ever after? You must read to find out! I highly recommend this book!

I read Redemption's Inferno not having read the other two books in the series.
Ms. Mizero gives enough background information in this book so that the reader gets to know all the players in the book and doesn't feel lost.
I really enjoyed reading the journey of Emilie and Chains.
Their lives at this point is about coming to terms and dealing with their past.
Which is colliding and having a devastating impact in their present.
Emilie and Chains go back and visit their pasts. One trying to find redemption through physical pain and hoping that will ease her conscience somewhat until the law can punish her one the other changing his appearance and staying away from everyone he loves and cherishes because betrayal is still shadowing him.
Their journey intertwines and at first they are only physically attracted to each other. Deeper feelings start to develop between Em and Chains. But the past catches up with them and threats everyone they love.
Redemption's Inferno is not only about finding redemption and answers but it's also about finding love with the right person and being truly happy.
This book is filled with loyalty, love, friendship and how the friends of these two rally around them.
If you've read the other two books than this one is a must read and if you haven't and your looking for a love story that's packed with twists and turns then this is the book for you.

I have to admit that I did not read the first two books, so I can say that this can be read as a standalone, but at times I felt like I didn’t understand the characters as well as I could have.

So, Emilie has traveled to London to try to right the wrongs in her past. Now that she is a mother she is haunted by something that happened 8 years ago and she is determined to find out the truth. Her friends send Chains to track her down and find out why she left so suddenly. He convinces her to give him a week to try to help get to the bottom of her past before she makes any drastic decisions.

The good was Emilie and Chains and the full supporting cast. I really enjoyed their stories. Although at times it felt like the pacing was off. There was so much build up to Emilie and Chains getting together and then when the past catches up with them, I was a bit confused as to who was the mastermind. I mean we are actually told who the ‘bad’ guy is, but I couldn’t quite follow the story line at times.

There was so much going on! It really seemed like there were times that an author would have stopped, but this just kept going with so many twists and turns! Overall a solid 4 stars…

So this is the third and final book in the Inferno Series from Author Kat Mizera and what a fantastic ending to this truly amazing series.

Emilee is broken and has apast that she must come to terms with and decides to leave her daughter, ex-husband and his new husband in Vegas and head to London to resolve the matter. Darryl "Chains Carruthers heads out to lend a hand. He to is dealing with a past that haunts him 24/7. Emilee and Chains story is truly one of trust, chances, understanding and unconditional love. They are hot as individuals but on fire when they are together their chemistry will set you on fire!!

This author has broken all the boundaries of what relationships are about...she steps out of the box and has created an entire cast of characters that you will truly love. Are they broken...YES, are they human...YES is there redemption...YES and this author tells stories of lives intertwined together with love respect and so much care. You truly feel like you are a part of their lives.

Fabulous conclusion to a fantastic series...I look forward to what is next from this author!!

I have not read the first of the titles in the series, so maybe going into this one blind resulted in my reacting to it not as positively as I thought I was going to.

I had a difficult time getting into the start of the story, as I felt there was a lot that I was missing that I possibly should have known, so this made the first part of the book from being engaging.

This review, however, is based on the idea that even after I got into the book, I felt that there were too many characters, too much going on (the ex, his new relationship, a child, the spies and ex-spies, her friend who was also a dungeon master) for me to feel that there was a cohesive story for the main characters. This made the story difficult to relate to as I never really felt like I was being drawn into a relationship with them.

And, there was an issue I had with the story ARC that is a spoiler so I am not able to get into it, but I felt that in light of this, she would not have acted as she did.

The book wasn't all bad, there were parts I did like, it just read more as a bunch of novellas about different characters to me.

I hesitantly recommend this book to people who have read the previous books in the series.

Having never read any of Kat Mizera's books I can honestly say I wasn't too sure what to expect when I signed up to read this one. I was fully aware that this was the third of a series and having not read any of the previous books I am sure I missed some elements of previous character knowledge but this can certainly be read as standalone.

I really enjoyed how Kat led us on a journey of Emilie and Daryl 'Chain's' love story and how they had some very dark challenges to tackle. The relationship between them develops in such a way that you can't help but feel the emotions of them both as Kat sensitively and beautifully tells their story and the struggles they face are revealed.

I fell quite in love with these two and will be looking back in the previous books of the series to see what I have missed. Kat Mizera is such a beautiful wordsmith and although this book (and series) is dark in its nature, there is something so bright and intense that you can't help but be drawn in.

I certainly will be looking out for the next in this series!

Oh Kat. You've stolen my heart again. This series is so completely unique and isn't something that's written in any books you read. This is one of a kind story writing that I've come to love from Kat. When I read her books, I am completely captivated and glued to my kindle screen. It would take a herculean effort to remove it from my hands.

I dont normally have lines that stick out so much that I stop and swoon. This is one of them:

“Em?" “Hmm? She looked up. “I'll never let you fall," he whispered, his fingers trailing along her cheek, brushing away the solitary tear that had spilled over. “No matter what happens, I'll always be there to catch you."
This was a pivotal point in the book and I absolutely gave my heart to Chains at that moment.

This story will take you through everything you can imagine. There is action, suspense, intense feelings of love and betrayal, and a sense of family.
In short, this book has everything to offer. I am definitely a huge fan of Kat and will proudly stalk her. You should too!!

The third and final book in the Inferno Series, Emilie and Chains finally get together, and we finally learn what is haunting her. To be honest, I was blown away by this little tidbit. I for sure thought that she had been raped, but NOPE!!

Darryl “Chains”, is a mystery, to put it mildly! He is the strong, silent, non-committing type. Emilie’s family and friends send him off to England to try and bring her home after she runs away. But working so close with Emilie has Chains feeling a little too close for his own comfort.

While this book is stated to be a standalone, I highly suggest that the first two books be read so that you know who all the players are. Despite a little bit of dark kink, this book is amazing. It shows that with the help of friends, you can overcome your fears, past and anything else life throws at you.

Kat Mizera is an author that I found on accident, literally bumped into her. I have binge read all of her previous books and am not so patiently waiting for new work. She has an amazing way of putting words down to make fabulous stories.

Redemption's Inferno is the third book in the Inferno series. Emilie Sjoberg is the sister of of Karl (Sidewinders series) and the ex-wife of Viggo (Temptation's Inferno). I was so excited when I found out that Emilie would be getting her own book and I could not have asked for a better partner for her than Chains. Emilie struggles with an event from her past and believes that the only way to get past it is to "pay for her crimes" (real or imagined). She leaves everything that she loves behind to travel to Europe to come to terms with the past. Darryl "Chains" Carruthers, the head of security at Club Inferno (the club that Emilie manages) sets off to find her and bring her home.

Emilie and Chains' journey is not an easy one as they both have have past demons to lay to rest but if they can both overcome the past they will have a great future ahead of them. Emilie and Chains are both wonderful characters and it is always great to see characters from Kat's other series show up.

This is a good ending for the series, Kat has built a good story while giving us updates on the other cast members of our series in a non-forced way. This is a good read as a standalone book however if you read the entire series it gives you a much deeper appreciation for the story and how it has been woven together. Chains and Emilie have a dark past and are facing a huge betrayal, if they can get past the ghosts perhaps they have a chance at real love.

I enjoyed the series tremendously, though this is not my favorite book of the series. I didn't care for Emilie's "Only I can deal with this huge fabricated problem that I won't tell anyone about" mentality, I thought it made for a poor storyline to start out the book. That said, once that issue was dealt with, I really enjoyed these two characters and it was a very enjoyable love story.

This is book 3 in the series but can be read as a standalone in this series since Kat Mizera gives plenty back information you need to follow. Though you might want to read some if not all the Sidewinders and the first 2 in this series if you want to get the full feeling of all the characters. You will swoon over the men as well as the sassy women too.

Redemption's Inferno was amazing. Emilie and Chains are smoking hot. Each has their demons they need to face and in doing so find what they thought they weren't looking for. These two seem to balance each other. Love the unique family dynamic too. There's a little bit of action in this one. Overall I really enjoyed this one.

I loved reading Emilie and Chains beautiful love story. The journey that Emilie and Chains go down make this a very compelling and memorable story full of angst, drama, frustration, tears, twists and turns and passion. This is my first book in this series, but after reading Redemption's Inferno I am definitely going to read the first two books. This author knows how to captivate the audience, toy with their emotions and leave them wanting more. Believe me that is a good thing. The writing was great, the scenes are descriptive and the characters have amazing depth. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

A sexy read full of suspense, romance & sex. Emilie is a young mother who also happens to be involved in the BDSM world. For the past eight years she's felt guilty for something that happened in her past & she can't stop feeling responsible.
She leaves behind her loved ones in search of information that will lead her in the right direction of all the guilt she feels.
Darryl"Chains" is also involved in the BDSM world. He also happens to be an ex military spy. Emilie is his boss/friend & he is asked to go find her,by her family & friends. Little does he know that going after her would bring a series of events that neither one ever saw coming. I voluntarily read an ARC for an honest review.

The unconventional relationship between Jamie, Viggo, Emilie and now Chains makes this story and series The best I have read in a long time. There is so much love between all four of them that it's hard not to enjoy every minute of this book and hope for more.
Chains is just what Emilie needs when she thinks nothing can help with the darkness she has been living with for years. Emilie needs Chains and he was willing to go after her for his friends but didn't intend to become more then just her friend. They both need something the other has to offer.

I have been waiting to see who Emilie ends up with, and I was most definitely not disappointed. Kat Mizera definitely chose well when she was deciding what type of man Emilie would end up with. There are not many men who can handle a woman like her. I was really shocked by how Emilie's story unwound. Her past will intrigue you and keep you guessing. I must admit there were several parts of the book that I was not expecting. I love a book that keeps me on my toes and guessing. I could not think of a better way for this love story to unfold!

This book kept me on my toes. My heart cried for the two broken souls of Chains and Emilie, and rejoiced when they started to heal. The emotional pull for this story was intense and gratifying, like a good cry when you need it. I loved watching these two grow not only as individuals but as a two parts of a whole.
I'm usually pretty good at predicting endings, but with this book, I was a bit blindsided; which is fantastic!
I definitely recommend this book, and if you haven't read the other two standalones in this series, you should pick them up as well!

Redemption's Inferno is a story about a domme and BDSM club manager, Emilie, and Chains who is head of security for the club. Her crazy past and unstable emotional state is what throws them together, even so, a relationship builds from it. I found the beginning to be a bit slow however the story picked up about halfway. There is a ton of action in the last half that had me turning the pages at warp speed. I liked the characters and I enjoyed the story a ton once it picked up.

Redemption's Inferno was another hit for me. This story filled in so many questions I had from the previous books in regards to Emilie. I even fell a little in love with Chains through this book and his backstory was just as bad as Emilie's. It had my attention and kept it till the end. Plus I still got to read about Jamie and Viggo.
