Did Auburn make the Top 5 list of Bo Jackson's great-nephew?

Hoover receiver Shedrick Jackson on Wednesday afternoon moved one recruiting step closer to signing with a college football team. And yes, the great-nephew of Auburn football legend and NFL great Bo Jackson is still considering War Eagle.

Jackson announced his Top 5 list, a mixture of SEC schools with a sprinkle of ACC and American Athletic Conference representation.

Here's his list (In no particular order, as far as we know):

  • Memphis.
  • Auburn.
  • Missouri.
  • Mississippi State.
  • Georgia Tech.

Jackson is preparing for his senior season this fall at Hoover, the defending Class 7A state champions.

Jackson, listed at 6 feet, 200 pounds, caught a 44-yard pass during Hoover's spring game win last week against Park Crossing. He's expected to have a bigger role in Hoover's 2017 offense, which will feature a new starting quarterback.

Last season, Jackson caught 43 passes for 661 yards and three scores.
