What’s Buzz-worthy: This hit-driven product delivers an autograph and a memorabilia card in every pack along with a few parallels and a small sampling of base cards. It’s well-balanced with literally every hit in this box being a different type. Even better, all but three of those hits are card limited to no more than 100 copies, making this feel like a pretty solid rip for the price. The base cards have a spot gloss treatment similar to Five Star in the past but are on thin stock. That, combined with the dark-colored design, makes for a few cards with corners showing issues easily, but all in all this felt like a quality rip. Your best bet may be to buy by the box to ensure a good mix of what’s to be found, but this one is safer than other high-end, hit-based brand with ink in every pack and even some on-card autos with the Tier One inclusions. This mix of a few feels and sets makes this feel like a UFC product with a bit more to it even though the non-hits are ultimately just base cards and colored parallels with no other inserts. Despite that, this one is still a fun, quality rip that should be considered if you haven’t done much MMA in the past — or if you’re a regular.
