You get the cash price when using the card at the pump. You get an 8% discount when you buy the card and the cash price at the pump. In the East County in the San Diego area you get .10 cents off when using cash, or a Chevron credit card. They tie up your money until you use the balance of the card. They seem to be good every where I have tried to use it. If you use Chevron gas (which I do always) (and you should also) this is a great way to go.
