This was a fun and flirty read and I really enjoyed it. As the youngest Watson sister, Bec was rebellious, stubborn, quirky, flighty and free-spirited. Never feeling like she quite fit in, she traveled in order to find her place in the world. Now she's back at the family farm because it's time for her to settle down. Why you ask? Oh that's because she's pregnant and alone. Hurt and humiliated, she fled from England and the father of her child because he forgot to mention that he was a Lord!! Then the father, Lord Lincoln Matthews, shows up to beg her forgiveness, among other things. Little did he know the surprise that was in store for him.

The plot was sweet and the characters were a delight. Bec was a bit lost and Lincoln was burdened by too much responsibility. In the interest of full disclosure, Bec frustrated me. I didn't like her methods and I didn't like how hard she tried to keep Lincoln out. He had rights and part of me wanted him to push for them. That may just be me though. Regardless, they had virtually nothing in common, however, when it comes to love, none of that matters.

Twenty-two year old Bec Watson had been off globe trotting, staying in Italy, when she met Lincoln Matthews. They had a brief holiday romance that seemed to be going much further - until she met his mother and learned that he is actually a Lord and owner of a crumbling estate in England. She decides to run back to Wishing Bridge Farm, the place she grew up and now owns with her older sisters and which they now run as a wedding venue. Finding out she’s pregnant is a shock and, despite the advice of her sisters, she’s determined not to tell Lincoln until she’s reached three months. However, Lincoln isn’t giving up on his romance with the free spirited Bec, who has captured his heart. He turns up and accidentally discovers that she’s expecting his child and he’s determined to be more than an absentee father with the Atlantic between them.

The perseverance of the hero of this story is creditable, despite the set backs and an interfering Mum! I actually had mixed feelings about Bec, sometimes loving her and really feeling for her and other times wishing she’d grow up. By the end, however, I was really hoping things would work out well for them and the other romances in the story. There are plenty of twists and turns, I love the farm and nearby community with all the brilliant characters. It is a relatively quick, sweet romance and would probably make a great beach read.

I requested and was given a copy of this book via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion after reading the story. It is part of a series but I believe it still works well as a standalone.

After reading and enjoying Falling for the Best Man, I really thought Piper would be the Watson sister I liked least. Turns out Bec is worse. Her lack of maturity made me feel seriously sorry for that baby she’s carrying. I know she’s only twenty-two, but my word, she’s annoying.

The whole issue around the photos and her running away and keeping the truth from Lincoln when he turned up was bad enough. The way she refuses to even consider giving him a chance because, well, I’m not even sure what her reasoning was. Something to do with her having no one growing up and, boo hoo, something something, better this way.

Nope. I do not have the energy to deal with this level of nonsense.

Lincoln was better, despite not feeling the least bit British (the name alone didn’t work for me – as a surname, sure, but an aristocratic first name… no), but I also think he could do so much better than Bec, so I didn’t want to find out how he somehow convinces her to grow up and stop being such a brat.

As such, I couldn’t muster the interest to keep reading. Sorry, but this one just wasn’t for me.

Bec Watson is the youngest sister and the free spirited girl whom the rest of the family seems to treat as a ghost. Now she finds herself back at Wishing Bridge Farms, pregnant and trying to save the family farm by being a wedding planner. Sure she has her best friend Coop and her sisters for support but the one person she didn't want to see was Lincoln Matthews aka the baby daddy.

After finding out that Lincoln was not who she thought he was (an artist who is really an English Lord) she decides to head back home and get ready for the surprise their vacation fling left her. Now Lincoln has shown up and found out about the baby. He's really likes Bec and decides he can't leave her and his child. There is no way Bec is going to raise this child alone. Now he just needs to convince her he's there for the right reasons.

This is book 2 in the series and it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoy the small town, everyone in your business antics and can't wait for more in the series.

I really enjoyed this one. It's another light, fun read in this series and I adored these characters. The story is very well done with great pace and character development. Definitely left me wanting Pepper and Coop's story!

Bec has always been the flightly, carefree Watson sister. Never one to settle down but now she's back at Wishing Bridge Farm trying to prove she's serious about staying and working as a wedding planner. Yeah she might be slightly pregnant. She may have left the father back in England after finding out the truth about him. That doesn't make her irresponsible does it??? Then the baby's father shows up trying to explain why hadn't been completely honest with her. Will she listen? Do they have a chance?

I highly recommend this one.

This was a pretty good read. Nothing too heavy, but not exactly light and fluffy.

Bec was a bit too immature and flighty for my liking. She thought no one loved her and felt sorry for herself. Lincoln was great. He was loyal and loving. I loved that he found a way to save his family and get Bec.

This was a light and fun romantic read. As the youngest Watson sister, Bec was independent, straight forward and free-spirited. She did what she wanted, when she wanted. Bec did feel like she never fit in with her older sisters and was the odd woman out with them so she traveled in order to find her place in the world. Now she's back at the family farm because she is pregnant and the father isn’t in the picture…or is he? She came back home because the father Lincoln misled her about who he really was, about a lot of his life- forgot to mention he is Lord Lincoln Matthews. He ended up letting her walk away. So she came home to raise her baby and try to forget the man that stole her heart.
However, Lincoln came to see her at her family’s farm, trying to get back with her. Wanting her forgiveness and some other concessions from her. He doesn’t know she is pregnant so will he be ready for a baby or will he cut and run again?
This was a good romance but at times the characters were a bit frustrating and they didn’t seem as connected. I guess it would have helped if I could have gotten a bit more chemistry than what was shown in the story. Otherwise, this was a good 2nd chance romance read.

**My thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing LLC, for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

I have not read the first book in the series and did not feel like i needed two and that this can be read as a stand alone book.

Although i liked this book you can tell an American wrote the book as when Lincoln is talking from his point of view he phones home on his cell, where and English man would call it his mobile phone. Little things like this just stood out in the English thinking/speaking that were not quite correct.

The story was fairly fun and other than the above well written, both had baggage and were pretty stubborn, but Lincoln was always the one who did the most fighting to save their relationship.

Further down the line i may well end up reading book three as the tension between Coop and Pepper was leaping off the pages in their brief interactions.

Lincoln and Bec found the stuff of romance novels in each others arms. Yet, when the euphoria starts to fade and the real world intrudes, hearts are bound to be broken. Will these two star crossed lovers be able to keep the dream alive? A noteworthy effort, that casts a spell not easily broken.

The Wedding Planner's Baby is the second in the Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm series. It stands alone and does not end on a cliffhanger. I have not yet read the first book in this series, but that did not impact my enjoyment of this book at all. This one is a light, feel-good kind of book that I would recommend to anyone who wants an easy, fun read that ends with a happily ever after.

Bec and Lincoln were really interesting characters who, at first blush, didn't seem that well-matched, but who I found myself rooting for. Lincoln was just a really, really good guy, and from start to finish, I just wanted him to figure out how to be happy. The gifts that he gave her at both points in this book were two of my favorite moments and showed that he really listened when Bec talked. I loved that. Bec was a little immature for my liking (what sane adult tells their boyfriend's MOTHER that they've got naked pictures of him the first time she meets her???) and there were times that she drove me crazy, but I liked her enough to hope that they worked their issues out. She definitely grew up as the story went on, embracing her roles as business owner and soon-to-be mother.

All in all, I enjoyed this story and will definitely go back and read the first book in this series at some point. I am also very much looking forward to Coop and Pepper's story.

I requested and was generously granted and ARC of this book via NetGalley. I was under no obligation to write this review, I did so because I enjoyed the book.

The Wedding Planner's Baby was a great lighthearted read that leaves you with all the good feels you expect out of a sweet romance.

This story wasn't entirely predictable as Lincoln's dilemma kept you wondering throughout the story.

I enjoyed the fact that Bec was a mature young woman and handled herself very well considering the circumstances she was facing.

All in all this was a great read and I will likely pick up the rest of the books in this series.

The Wedding Planner's Baby is book 2 in the Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm series. You do not have to read the previous book to understand what is going on. The author does pull characters in from the other story and I find that I am curious about what their story entailed. This book ends in a HEA.

Bec Watson never thought she'd return home to Wishing Bridge Farm, the place she inherited along with her sisters after their Aunt died. But learning that the man whose baby she's now carrying lied about who he really is, the only choice to make was to return home. Working as a wedding planner keeps her busy, but when Lincoln Mathews comes back into her life and asks her to plan a wedding, just so she'll give him a chance to explain everything, she's torn between saying yes and telling him to get lost.

Lincoln Mathews is a man torn between family and the woman who stole his heart. When he discovers Bec is pregnant, he's determined to do everything in his power to win her back. Except nothing is as simple as he thought it would be, and if the only way he can get Bec to talk to him is to ask her to plan a wedding, then that's what he'll do. But when it seems Lincoln might not be able to help his family break free of their troubles, what will he choose -- his future with Bec or doing what his mother wants him to do?

The first book of this series was a wonderful read, which introduced readers to Bec and her free-spirited personality, so I was really looking forward to reading her story, and I've got to say that I loved it. The way this story started grabbed my attention immediately, as I wanted to know whether Bec believed in the Wishing Bridge. Did it really grant the wishes people made? Yet, what I enjoyed most about chapter one is the moment where Bec is forced to face Lincoln because of one very annoying sister that has an opinion on everything whether its warranted or not.

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories and the history these two have that made Bec run from Lincoln without so much as a goodbye. Why couldn't the hero have been honest about who he really is? Throughout Lincoln has some tough decisions to make, and I could understand why he had such a tough time choosing between his family and Bec. He's always been the responsible one, the one -- it seems -- to solve the family problems, and if he can't, he'll have to live with the guilt that he failed and that isn't an option. However, nor is what his mother wants him to do, and I'm glad that he finally stood up to her the way he did. Who cares how they get the family out of trouble as long as they do?

While Bec, she didn't have it easy growing up and believing she never really fit in where she and her sisters ended up after their parents died and it's understandable why she isn't fond of Wishing Bridge Farm. However, in saying that, I liked how one of her sisters proved her wrong and found a way to show her that love is worth fighting for. Also, Bec too, has a few decisions to make. Should she give Lincoln a chance? What will happen when he has to choose between her and his family? Will he make the right decision, or will Bec make the decision for him? Especially when she realizes that he'll always be torn between his love for her and his responsibility to his family.

Overall, Ms. Ashby has penned a sweet, captivating read in this second book of her Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm series, which has me looking forward to Pepper's book, as there's something she's hiding from her sisters. The way this story ended took me totally by surprise with the couple that got married. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up perfectly, because of everything Bec and Lincoln talk about. She really is good for the Mathews family. I would recommend The Wedding Planner's Baby by Amanda Ashby, if you enjoy the surprise pregnancy trope or if you enjoy books by authors Victoria James, Jennifer Shirk or Sonya Weiss.

The Wedding Planner's Baby by Amanda Ashby is Book 2 of the Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm Series. Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

This was a quick romance that was sweet, heartfelt and very enjoyable. Although quick, it was by no means incomplete. I found the characters to be engaging and the world nicely defined, not to mention who doesn’t enjoy a good baby surprise romance?!?! Ms. Ashby did a good job with this story and it is a nice addition to her series.

This is such a cute little story. In the beginning, Bec was making me crazy and a little frustrated. She was very much her 22 year old self. But I am glad I kept reading because she matured as the story went on and I understood her more, even liking her. Now Lincoln, I liked him from the beginning. He was responsible, trying to make everything in his life work, and sexy. I did enjoy Bec and Lincoln together. She brought out his fun side and he made her feel special. The ending to their story was very sweet and I loved their families. Now I want Pepper's story.

Bec and Lincoln are complicated. I really enjoyed their story. The unexpected pregnancy. The independent female. The honorable and decent male, who happened to not be so honorable when Bec left him. But I could understand his point of view. The pressure to be someone all the time. When do you get to be yourself. Bec was given two gifts in this book, 1st the baby and second Lincoln's true self.

Well written story, a little confused by the brooding of Pepper and Coop. But the story kept me engaged and invested in the characters. You are rooting for the couple.

I always enjoy surprise baby plots. This book adds in the added complication that the father, Lincoln, is an English lord with a debt-ridden estate. The mother, Bec, met him on vacation in Italy and didn’t know that Lincoln came from that sort of aristocratic background. His mother was the one to enlighten her and intimidate her to fleeing to her home in Connecticut where she works to make her family form into a wedding location.

When Lincoln shows up and finds out about the baby, he wants to step up but he doesn’t have a clue as to how they can have the sort of relationship he’d like. I ended up feeling sorry for the guy - he’s burdened with this responsibility that seems to give him no joy at all. The only thing in his life that has given him joy is his time with Bec. So I was pulling for him.

The resolution, however, seems quite easy, quick, and unbelievable.

The Wedding Planners Baby (Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farms #2) by Amanda Ashby
Love
Because she knows she needs help, after finding out she's pregnant Bec runs for the hills or back to Wishing Bridge Farm ~home as it may be, where she vowed to never return to. She never expects the father, Lincoln (an English Lord~ which he hid from her) to show up on her door step. She thought she had more time to tell him, but such as life in a small town word travels even to an outside visitor. So what's gonna happen now? You'll have to read wedding Planner's Baby to find out how it plans out. Another amazing emotional Wishing Bridge Farm story!! I can't wait to read what'll be in store for Piper next!! bec watson never thought she'd find herself back on her aunt's farm. since turning eighteen she'd made it a point to be anywhere but there. but when she is heartbroken while backpacking in italy all she wants to do is come home. and wishing bridge farm is the closest thing she's got to call home. the wedding planner's baby is the second book in the series, and though i have read falling for the best man it's not necessary to read it first in order to understand the plot of this book.

lincoln matthews, aka the earl of ashford, might not have been completely honest about his background when he first met up with bec. but for once he was happy to be free of responsibility. his ancestral home, snowden manor is on the verge of being lost to the family, and the last thing he wants is to be the one who lost it all for everyone. but he also wants to be the free-wheeling artist he is with bec. but first he has to make amends, because she is so upset that he withheld the truth.

and this is maybe what i found frustrating about bec, she's the kind of "free-spirited" that uses her itchy feet as an excuse to avoid the truth. her itchy feet are less about wanderlust and more about running from the hard stuff. at every turn she tries her hardest to avoid the hard stuff with lincoln. even trying to get out of telling him that she's pregnant with his baby. and then refusing to talk about how her having this baby is going to work, especially given that he seems to want to be a part of the baby's life.

lincoln has the patience of a saint. even when bec tries to cut him out of her life he reduses to go away. and it doesn't come off as stalkerish or unreasonable. he simply knows that he's found what he's looking for with bec and he's not going to let her itchy, runaway feet get in the way of a good thing. but he has his work cut out for him, because bec has gotten so good at running that she has no idea what it means to face the hard stuff. even though it can be really, really worth it to let someone love you. she's too familiar with loss to see it, but her family and friends can, and they help lincoln out by not letting bec run. and when he finally gives her a reason to stay, it is totally worth it.

beyond the bec and lincoln drama, we also got a hint of something brewing between pepper and cooper. those two are hiding some secrets, and i can't wait to see what those are as the series concludes.

This is the second book in the "Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm" and it is the story of the younger of the sisters Bec Watson who has come home from her travelling trip and informs her sisters that she is pregnant after having a fling while travelling in Italy, and decides she wants to stay and be involved with the wedding planning business.

Lincoln Matthews is a British Lord and has travelled to Wishing Bridge Farm to talk to Bec, as his mother had informed him that Bec had naked pictures of him and if these were let out to the media it would have devastating consequences on the family home.

When Bec tells him that she deleted the pictures and that he should go home, he decides to head back to the airport, but the driver who is also a friend of the Watson's, mistakenly lets Lincoln know that Bec had an accident but the baby is okay. Lincoln gets him to turn around and go back, and wants to know from Bec what is happening and that he wants to be involved.

This is the journey of a couple from different sides of the world who fall in love and makes there situation work.

This was as good as the first book in the "Sisters of Wishing Bridge Farm" by Amanda Ashby and can't wait to find out what happens with there sister Pepper, will she get together with Coop.

OK, this is obviously one of those Hallmark movie type plots that everyone enjoys if done well and this was done pretty good.

One of the first things I liked as far as being original is that Lincoln Mathews being the surprise British "Lord" is not filthy rich but just staying one step ahead of the bankers to keep their family manor. He is pretty down to earth and likable.

Bec on the other hand is a bit erratic but still charming in her own way and her and Lincoln made a great couple but they worked really hard on not being the couple you knew they were going to be (I mean the HEA was almost a given, just the "how" was the mystery)

The thrill of the chase, his mother that you thought you hated, and the sisters all added to a very nice story for an afternoon or two of light reading.

If I have any objections it might be that the "solution" at the ending was not clear and what I did see I was not sure if it was even workable but those are details I assume most people don't even think about but I am a bit OCD like that with plots.

Bottom Line: I enjoyed it, I read it in 2 sittings and could not figure out how they were going to get to that happy ending I was sure was coming. 4 Stars and recommended for those days you just need something light and entertaining to read.

Lincoln is to die for! He's loyal and sexy, does what he needs to for his family and that includes the family he wants. He's the glue that holds this story together and keeps the pages running. He's a Man in all senses of the word.
The town characters are lively and help add charm to the story, the event planning and mishaps keep you entertained.
Piper is a bit of an odd duck and I'm thinking their is a story between her and coop that I don't know yet (didn't read book one). She's harsh and bossy like any oldest sister, looking forward to her falling head over heels for someone.
Didn't see much of Emmy in this book and I've not read hers, soon opinion there.

Then we come to Bec. Bec is flighty and immature. I get she's 22, I get she's an orphan, I get she's the baby , but seriously you just want to yell " grow up". If it were not for Lincoln, Coop and Piper, that baby would be beyond screwed up.

And lastly, Lincoln's mom. In my opinion, she's forgiven multiple times way to easy. She's a conniving old lady who is very mean.

The carefree moments between Lincoln and Bec are fun to read. They work great together as a couple when they are not discussing their status as a couple. I did enjoy their story and would recommend it to others. Though it is part of a series, you do not have to read the first book to understand the rest.

Great read. Bec meets Lincoln while overseas in Italy. They have some serious chemistry that leads to Bec returning home and finding out she is pregnant. Lincoln's family is plagued with bad history. Bec finds out Lincoln is an English Lord. His family will do anything to avoid a scandal. His estate is in turmoil and needs money. Mommy dearest wants Lincoln to marry for $$$. Lincoln wants Bec. Bec is twisted up inside by her upbringing tries her best to do what she thinks is right if that means raising her child on her own...... book provided by netgalley for an honest review.

3.5-4 stars.

What a lovely read, just like the previous book.

In this one, we get to hear about Bec, another Watson sister. We saw a little bit of her in the previous book, where she dropped a surprise. Well, the surprise unfolds here and a new character is introduced: Lincoln.

I loved these two, they were such opposite, but the same at their core. Bec was free-spirited, yet she secretly yearned for stability; and Linc was filled with responsibilities, but not-so-secretly dreamed of freedom of it all.

They were both stubborn as hell, and that made for some pretty frustrating times, lol. I also enjoyed learning about their backgrounds, and what made them the way they were. There was some pretty heavy baggage there.

Much like the previous book, this was a sweet read, with some conflicts, some back and forth, and all around an enjoyable read.

I’m really interested in the next one, showing the last Watson sister. She sounds interesting.

A very sweet warm romance that just leaves you all warm inside giving you a very sweet read you can relate to. The twists and turns keep you hanging on as the author throws in a few surprises along the way. It was well put together with details that really adds to the excitement of the read.

Bec finds herself in a mess being lied to and now expecting a baby by that lying man she doesn’t have much choice but to return home. She is a wedding planner by trade and plans to make a living this way supporting her baby. Lincoln who is the lying baby’s father has other ideas. He is in a mess his self duty calls but love might be stronger. First find the women who stole his heart and having his baby, than make her understand why he wasn’t all the way truthful. After that well he just isn’t sure, one step at a time and he will work the rest out later.

The author spins a tale that grabs your attention from the first page. The twists and turns keep you guessing and invested throughout. The plot was outstanding I even loved the characters as my heart went out to each of them. I really loved the tale behind the Wishing Bridge. It was very exciting to learn more about it and what part it plays in the story. Both of these characters will have some tough decisions to make with Lincoln having the toughest ones. He will have to decide between the women he loves and the family who needs him. He has always been the one they run to, always working out the problems. Maybe it is time for him to have what he wants and let the family deal with things on their own. The question is can he and who or what will he chose? I really enjoyed this even though I had not read the first book in the series. I didn’t feel lost, the author explained everything very clearly. The supporting characters added a lot to the story from her sister who is a little pushy to the epilogue. I am looking forward to the next book and seeing what the next sister brings to the story. She has a secret that should be very interesting.

A delightful read! I enjoyed the differences between Lincoln and Bec. Their trials and tribulations as they find a way to make a relationship work. Whether it be a trans-atlantic one or they are together always. I look forward to reading more books by Amanda Ashby.
