Mark came to KCRA in 1991, but his interest in weather started long before that. Growing up in New Hampshire, Mark always had a curiosity about the weather.

After studying Meteorology at the University of Utah, he started his television career in Portland, Maine. He also worked in Rochester, N.Y. before coming to Sacramento.

Mark has covered all of the major weather events since his arrival. From floods in the winter to tornadoes in the spring and the heatwaves of summer, Mark has been here for all of it.

Mark was one of the first Meteorologists in the country to earn the status of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society. He has been named 'Best TV Weather Person' by Sacramento Magazine every year since 2000.

When not at the office, Mark enjoys golfing, cycling and exploring the wine country.
