The Ugly Inside TV ! End Of Season Review James Ward Prowse Thursday, 1st Jun 2017 08:15 Perhaps James Ward Prowse's best ever season with an England cap as well, however this didn't mean he was immune from being dropped by the manager after a good game.

Well said bigrob68, If he was any good teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City would have been after him. Lazio are said to be after Clasie, Cardiff after Gallagher and several teams after Rodriguez and Long. But no one wants Prowse says it all really.

You can't base his worth on who wants him, nobody came for Lallana until he was 25, and the same was said of him when he was 22 that he was a championship player when he was playing in the championship, many said Lallana wouldn't make the jump to PL as well. JWP isn't comparable to Lallana though as he is not meant to play on the left or play on the right. Compared to Davis whom has declined over the last few seasons while JWP has improved. I believe he will surpass The level SD was at when he came from Celtic in the next few seasons before he reaches that age. So would you say Steven Davis was a championship player when he signed on or his first few years? Also everyone mentions his dead ball play which is superb, but even leaving that out of the equation entirely I believe he can become as good or better than Davis was playing the same kind of role. He is not going to beat defenders on the dribble or make runs through the back line, but good passing, aggression, and follow up behind the run of play he does well.

James BackWards-Pass is the most over-rated young footballer at St Mary's, the fact that he is now an almost automatic pick for Puel speaks volumes about how dire we have become.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Southampton Polls |
