Cub Camp is a new initiative for first-time students at UNT Dallas. It invites the campus and community to celebrate together and foster a connection between our university and the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. University departments, student organizations, and Dallas community organizations/partners/businesses will be able to host tables outside, or inside if it rains. There will be a live band, games, an obstacle course, and additional activities, such as face painting and giveaways will also be available for students to participate in during the event. Please use this link to register your company/organization for Cub Camp's Block Party. Feel free to bring giveaways for students, games, your business cards, upcoming events or opportunities for students to be involved with, and any other items that you'd like to bring. Please avoid all of the following: •Using/distributing any offensive or controversial material(s). •Raffles that students must pay to enter or must purchase a ticket. (Free raffles/giveaways are fine.)

Jobseekers DO NOT need to pre-register. This event is free to everyone. All candidates should bring plenty of resumes to distribute to employers.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make an "all out" effort to meet with every employer that has the potential to hire you. In order to make that happen you will need to be prepared. Preparation is the key to making a successful presentation at any job or career fair.

To make the most of the event, we also recommend the following:
Day of the Event (PERFORM!)
After the Event (PERSIST!)
After the event, you should make it a point to follow up with a letter expressing your interest in the company and in what they have to offer. You may want to include an updated résumé, a link to an electronic portfolio, or provide better answers to specific questions asked during the event. Thank you/follow up letters should be received by the employer within 2-5 days after an event.
