On June 9, 1994, Saint Arnold Brewing Co. delivered the first kegs of its Amber Ale from a nondescript industrial park in northwest Houston to the Gingerman bar in Rice Village, helping birth a Bayou City beer revolution.
Over the past 23 years the one-time lone craft brewer in Houston has been joined by several other craft brewers who were inspired by the path that co-founder Brock Wagner and his team of beer scientists blazed in the mid-'90s.

Without Saint Arnold there might be no 8th Wonder, Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co., Karbach Brewing Co., or Southern Star Brewing.
