When you pick up a book from a new author, you never know what you're gonna get. Alexis completely sucked me in like a vortex weaving a spell around my heart. To say I was extremely satisfied is an understatement. There was no unnecessary words just to fill in a period of time over months. That makes it so much more appealing.
Lily has so much negativity in her life and is in need of a retreat where she can be someone else for once. Her best friend keeps pushing her to hook up with someone especially the sexy cowboys that is eyeing her up while she discretely eyes him up. Not letting her chicken out, her friend puts the plan in motion and sends that sexy cowboy her way.
Colt has literally been forced to go on this vacation by his sister who knows he desperately needs a break. Colt isn't Happy to be there but when he gets pushed towards Lily, he just can't understand how this woman has taken all his worries away.
Unfortunately, their rendezvous can't last forever. The two make plans to meet the same time next year, but fate has something else in store. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series, and this author has made it on my must read radar!

So honestly I haven’t had the chance to read the previous books in the Tease series. This book is the love story between Lily, the beautiful sister of Tease’s first heroine, Elizabeth, and a sexy, hardworking cowboy named Colt that she meets during a Caribbean vacation.
Firstly, we’ve got to appreciate the pun of a cowboy named Colt. Then, we’ve got to truly appreciate the man named Colt. As everyone, Colt has flaws, he’s a short tempered, overprotective, stubborn workaholic. But like his physical flaws, his personality flaws just make him even more wonderful to Lily. Especially when he’s also kind, gentle, determined, open minded, and he doesn’t care about what people think about him, he doesn’t care about the gossip or rumours that surround Lily, he doesn’t even care about following celebrities lives in the first place. Not to mention his down to earth, giving nature and the lack of expectations for his acts of kindness. How could Lily, a woman raised to learn that the only two people that will love her for her instead of what they can get from her, are Elizabeth (her sister) and Ted (her best friend and honorary brother).
I was so invested in Lily’s love story, and I feel like that guarantees that those of you that met Lily from the beginning, that followed with her and Elizabeth whilst Adam taught them both what true family is like, will have an infinite love for this journey. Those of you that, like me, haven’t read the other Tease novels yet? Don’t worry, you’ll love the innocence, the purity, the beauty, the symmetry, and the epic journey of two workaholics that fall in love on a tiny island in the Caribbean whilst they were trying to be someone else, and then fall even more in love with each other when they see each other’s true selves.
There were so many scenes I found to be epically stunning in this book. That first meeting, waterfall scene, the barn scene, the office scene, the beach scene near the end, the epilogue… but even more than that the perfect symmetry between the love story between our two protagonists and the love story Lily is performing as leading lady of her current film was pure, literary genius. I loved it.
Just a heads up, there will be hints about previous novels in the series, especially Elizabeth and Adam’s books. No doubt for you long time Tease addicts, this will cause heart fluttering, butterflies in your stomach, sweet nostalgia. For those of you that aren’t, it won’t really give you spoilers so you don’t need to worry there, 7 Dirty Lies is a quirky, sexy, standalone contemporary romance that will have you swooning and melting and heating the hell up.

7 Dirty Lies by Alexis Anne was a great read. Though this is a part of a series, this is a standalone. Just like the movies! Two people meet during a tropical getaway and their chemistry is off the charts. They agree to enjoy the time they have and move forward. The last thing either expected was to meet again and have their white lies exposed!
Things have been stressful as of late for Lily, so she heads to a tropical getaway. Just what she needed. I really liked Lily. She was smart, strong and so feisty. Colt works hard, but forgets to play as well. So off he goes to his tropical getaway. He does not trust easy, so when he meets a woman he connects with him, he jumps right in. Colt was strong, determined and cared deeply for those in his life.
When these two meet just before the end of their vacations, the chemistry is hot and steamy. Both throw caution to the wind and enjoy each other during the time they have left. At the end, they each go their separate ways. But when they end up working in close proximity, they are both shocked to learn they were not completely honest. Could they find their way back to what they had before?
Lily and Colt have such complicated lives. The pressure of their responsibilities weigh on them. So, when they were on their tropical island, they let all those responsibilities go, but now they are in the middle of their real lives. But now they also have to accept the secrets they kept from each other. Can they learn to trust each other or is it too late?
Once in the real world, Lily and Colt struggle to find their way and so many obstacles stand in their way. I enjoyed reading their journey. This was a fun read with steamy scenes and characters you root for.

OMG!!!! This book was by far one of the best ones I have read in forever! The characters, the story line, the hot steamy moments between Lily and Colt, I could not get enough of this book!
The fact that this book is a part of a series made me so excited to go back and read about some of the other characters that I absolutely fell in love with while reading. The way this book is written it was definitely able to be read as a stand alone and I didn't even feel as though I was missing out on anything by not reading the other books first.
I went through all of the feels while reading this story. The only thing I wish is that it would have been written in dual points of view because I was dying to know what Colt was feeling through all of this.

I did a crazy thing with this series.
The blurb of this book itself convinced me to request for the other six books in the series (although each can be read as a standalone) and now I have more to the Tease universe to satisfy my cravings after Lily's and Colt's story! I may be reading in reversed order, but who cares right?
I fell in love with those two from the start, the sizzling romance, their chemistry and Colt's great personality just made the read even sweeter. It was such a fun and sexy read and such a page turner!

Colt is a workaholic. When his sister forces him to a tropical getaway to give him a much needed break in his routine, the last thing he expected was to form a connection with a woman he just met, especially since it is hard for him to trust others since it has burned him in the past.
Having only 2 days left of their getaways, Lily and Colt decide to make the most of it . . . agreeing to meet back at the resort in only one year to see if they gave have a chance at more.
Real life, however, has other plans for the couple. When Lily’s new movie begins filming on Colt’s ranch, both are in for the shock of their lives. Colt may have left out that he is head of an extremely wealthy and influential family and Lily may have told a few white lies as well . . .telling Colt her name was Annie and that she was an artist, not an actress from a family that has recently been tabloid material in LA. 7 Dirty Lies has been one of my favorite books so far this year. Both Lily and Colt are overwhelmed by life. The both have taken on responsibilities for their families and loved ones that have them stressed out, over-worked and missing out on the things that really matter in life. Their connection is immediate as both see what they can do for one another. Unfortunately, they are unable to really act upon their feelings as reality is only a few days away and neither can truly escape their life for more than a few stolen days.
Lily is an extremely strong and sassy female lead. Her parents are rotten and their actions have forced her to fight for others to see her as an individual and acknowledge her skills as an actress. If not for her best friend Ted, Lily would be left without a friend in the industry she is determined to make her mark in. Colt is thrust into the role of family patriarch at the young age of 18. All he does is work to keep the family ranch and business growing so that the rest of his family is cared for. He is a protector by nature, but has no one truly looking after him or his needs, other than his sister who has a family of her own.
Their chemistry is off the charts amazing and Alexis Anne has written some extremely steamy scenes. However, the story and characters are what I fell in love with. The depth of plot kept me turning page after page and rooting for this couple to make it back to the happiness they had when they thought they only had two days to give one another. Life, of course, gets in the way, and the couple must work to truly get to know one another in the real world. It’s a beautiful journey that you really don’t want to miss.

7 Dirty Lies is the latest installment in Alexis Anne’s Tease series. I have not read the others in the series and you won’t need to either. 7 Dirty Lies follows Lilly, an actress, who is on a much needed vacation to get her mind off of major things going on in her life- things she can’t let go of temporarily to relax and unwind. That is, until Colt enters the picture. Que the meddling of the best friend and Lilly finds herself finally starting to unwind; too bad it’s almost the end of her vacation. With only two days to spend on a gorgeous private island resort with a very intriguing mystery man, and a promise that they will meet again one year later, it’s sadly back to the real world for Lilly and the grueling problems that await her. When filming of her newest movie starts, she comes face to face with the person she least expected to- Colt. Shocked to see her again so soon, Colt must learn to deal with the lies that Lilly told him; but will he be able to forgive her?
I really enjoyed this book and how Ms. Anne weaves the tale of girl meets boy to make the romance to it seem as if we are experiencing Lilly’s life the way she is. Add to that the real world problems she faces and it’s hard not to like her, even knowing that she lied about everything to the one man she actually fell in love with. The need to protect each other from their darkest secrets because they are guarded from letting anyone in is something I think that everyone can relate to. I grew to love these characters and root for them to be together through all the hardships they faced from beginning to end because Ms. Anne certainly did not make it easy for these two. This book does contain mature content, but the scenes weren’t too over the top- making us feel that unique feeling of falling in love and how being with that special one can feel like we’re home. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Anne’s books in the series.

Alexis Anne gets better with ever story she writes. Each book is filled with passion and understanding between her main characters. I love how her characters just get each other. They always have an insane connection and ability to grasp the emotions just below the surface. There's also the lack of angst that brings me back to her books. The characters are able to work through their issues like adults with communication and, in some instances, sex. No matter what, they put every emotion into their interactions, which is evident in the form their passion takes. Sometimes words aren't needed to bring you back together.
At first, Lily and Colt couldn't be more different, but it's clear that they have similar needs and stress in their lives. I loved watching them let it all go and lose themselves in each other only both times. It was fun witnessing their surprise at coming face to face so unexpectedly, and I was pleased that they had an opportunity to discover their relationship without the secrets. I absolutely adored Colt and Lily's love story. It was everything I'd hoped it would be.
Lily had grown since we saw her in Elizabeth's story, Tease. Don't worry, there's no need to read it unless you just want to. Back then she was a bit unforgiving and still trying to hold her family together. In this book, we see a different side to her. She's been forced to face the harsh reality of her famous parents' activities and how the world sees her in light of their nature. I loved watching her evolve and find her own place in Hollywood as well as find the love of her life.
Colt was entirely too sexy. I'm a sucker for cowboys, and he completely fed into my fantasies. Plus there was the whole brooding, tortured soul vibe and his caring, responsible nature. I only wish we'd gotten some scenes with him on a horse. Whew! That would have been hot! At least we got his cowboy hat. ;)

Lily & Colt meet at a time in both their lives when they really just want to try to learn to relax again and while they're exactly what each other needs, they're both hesitant to truly be it. Their connection is instant and beautiful, but they only see it as temporary and a true fantasy because in 48 hours, they'll have to face the reality of never seeing each other agin.
This book had A LOT of sex scenes and while enjoyable, I found myself skipping a few of them after a while - nothing against the writing, but after the first few it became evident that the sex was explosive and I wanted to focus more on the rest of their lives. Both characters seemed to live their lives for everyone else, but found that they weren't very happy with that (who would be). I liked that they took the time to explore themselves and their relationship.
I didn't like that most of the drama seemed to be thwarted, instead of explored. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I'll be as vague here as possible (hopefully). The chick at the hospital, the mom (crazy woman), the parents, the company, the ex, the lies . . . so much opportunity for true drama, but it was all handled logically - TOO logically. I don't know anyone who could be under so much stress in their lives on a constant basis and still respond to the situations as they did in such a rational manner. Not that I didn't want them to be happy, I just expected so much more strife with all of the outside influence. It made the book too nice and neat.
Hands down my favorite scene, the wedding dress - SWOON!!! I also completely adored Ted and Charley.

Lily’s best friend Ted sneaks her away to a tropical island, not to swoop her off her feet as he has no interest in her like that, but to help her. Colt is in much the same predicament, his sister dragged him to a private resort on the same island and this is where the two met for the first time.
Neither expect to meet the love of their lives but fate had other ideas and with only 2 days until both have to return to their real lives, they have a lot to pack into their time together.
When that time is up, they agree to return to the island the following year to see if the attraction is just as strong… or if they were merely caught up in the moment… and ambience of the island.
But when real life and tropical interludes crash both Lily and Colt are thrown together again. Lily’s new movie is being filmed on Colt’s ranch and she doesn’t know until she sees him there.
Neither of them had told the other the whole truth, it was an island fling to start with after all. Now, it’s up to Lily to win back Colt’s trust as he has been badly burned by a previous relationship. These two strong, tantalizing characters held me spellbound with their story, I was rooting for them from day one. The chemistry was volcanic and tumultuous, with plenty of hot, hot fun times, but it was the story that powered the whole thing to the beautiful ending.
Neither expect to meet the love of their lives but fate had other ideas and with only 2 days until both have to return to their real lives, they have a lot to pack into their time together.
When that time is up, they agree to return to the island the following year to see if the attraction is just as strong… or if they were merely caught up in the moment… and ambience of the island.
But when real life and tropical interludes crash both Lily and Colt are thrown together again. Lily’s new movie is being filmed on Colt’s ranch and she doesn’t know until she sees him there.

4 Hollywood stars! This is a perfect read for those who are hopeless romantic!
I love discovering new authors. Who don’t? The best part of hunting and searching for new authors are to find the good ones and wonder why haven’t read her/his books before. This time I found Alexis Anne. I was glad to receive an ARC in exchange of an honest review. Her writing didn’t disappoint me. 7 Dirty Lies is the first book I read of the Tease Series and it can be read as a stand-alone.
The chemistry between Lily and Colt was sparkling. The attraction was instantaneous and it terrified them. They met in a resort; both were relaxing from their stressed life. Destiny, aka Ted, put them together. He wanted the best for Lily and he tough she needed someone who made her have fun. To lose herself and enjoy life and Colt seemed the best option.
Lily hid her identity because she never tough the attraction she felt for Colt could be something more than having fun. Fate will seal their future. Lies will tarnish something beautiful but love and promises made things better. What would happen when Colt discovers her true identity? A star from Hollywood and a Cowboy could have a future together? Will they survive as a couple? Sometimes circumstances do not matter, what matters is what the heart wants.

This book had all the feels from the start...I loved that "Annie" and "Cowboy Colt" were eyeing each other for what seemed like hours, in comes her best friend Ted to try to and set them up. That was the beginning of their story. They spent the next 2 days together enjoying each other, but neither wanted to leave. They made a vow to meet back at the resort in a year. Well, life doesn't go according to plan.
Lily is working on a new movie and who's ranch does she end up on. Of course the lies that were told while on vacation have to come to light. How do both deal with this new development. Now, while lying sucks, I do get why a famous actress who is dealing with tabloid issues would use a fake name, I also get why it obviously would upset Colt. But you can not deny the chemistry between these two. It lights up your page. Their sex is obviously amazing. And while it isn't TOO detailed, you know they make the other incredibly happy. Just enjoying things together.
The writing flows nicely and there are no questions left to answer. Some drama happens, but I love how it is addressed. I love Grayson and Ted and all of the side characters actually. They add a nice dimension to this book. This is an overall sweet love story with not a ton of up and downs, you will always be rooting for these two!

Lily Lawrence a famous actress escapes to a tropical private resort for the rich and famous, to escape her crazy parents and the drama following her. She meets Colt Landry and has two nights of hot passion. She creates a fake alias name and tells a few white lies, she thought it would be 2 nights of fun with no strings attached but she realizes that she has feelings for him. They agree to meet back at the resort in a year after they clean up the drama in their lives to see if the spark is still there. Little did Lily know she would meet up with him sooner for her next movie shot at his ranch! Will they be able to open up to each other and reconnect in the real world once they learn about each other?
This is my first read by Alexis and I will be looking up her other work.

Other couples from earlier books did make appearances, but not in a confusing way. It just made me want to read their stories too!

Nothing like love in paradise!!! Yup tropical island sexy man warm days cool breezes.
Lily is stressed and goes away to a paradise island to escapes life for a bit. Colt a complete workaholic but is forced to take some time out. He ends up in the same place as Lily.
Problem is both of them are a little afraid of their immediate attraction and feelings. They think it is temporary but who knows...I do but ou have to read this book full of sexy hot scenes to find out what happens. If you have not read the Tease Series then you should start that soon because it is a good series with lots of great characters. If you are looking for sexy romance this is your book, series and author!

I may be late to this party but I had a helluva good time. I saw the blurb and needed to read it. I had no idea 7 Dirty Lies was the seventh of a series. I do now have six new additions to my TBR.
7 Dirty Lies is sexy, sweet and fun. It is filled with a great friend, an amazing man, and woman looking for more...only she didn't know it.
I absolutely enjoyed riding along and being swept up by the story. It wasn't until a black case that tears snuck up on me.
A beautiful storybook romance with a modern background. What more could every hopeless romantic want...

This book is a I recommend this book kind of book. Alexis Anne writing flows from the beginning to the end, her words pulls at your heart strings and keeps you there to the very end!
Lilly Lawrence is on vacation to get away from the family that is something else and she meets an handsome stranger named Colt and from there things get hot but at the end of their vacation, they decide to meet in one year at the same place.
Back to real life Lilly get a part in a movie and low and behold who does she run into the handsome stranger.
Now if I go on I will ruin the story!

Wow this story is beautiful. Lily and Colt have a couple nights of amazing times together and when their trip cuts short they go their separate ways. When they meet up again the chemistry is still their between the two of them but the trust is not. Lily and Colt have to find their ways past the lies in order to have their happy ending. Because their happy ending would be epic. This story just sucks you right on in from the first word. It can be read as a standalone but if you have read the other books you will know some characters who pop into this book as well.

This book is part of a series, but I read it as a standalone and I was not confused or lost with this book. but it did make me want to go back and start from the beginning since this book was so good.
Lily and Colt are from 2 different worlds, but are both so stressed with family and work issues that neither can seem to find a way to relax until they meet each other. When they part, they believe they won't see each other again. Too bad Lily is thrown into Colt's world and with not all of the truths told, Colt is upset. The chemistry and relationship between the two struggles but they both realize what they had with each other is so much better together than apart.

Connected stories
Ive loved reading all of Alexis’s books in this amazing series.
If you love story’s that are connected by each book you read, you will love this series. There are 6 books to this series and yes i suppose you could read them as stand alones but when you read them from start to finish, its a complete story of Elizabeth and all her family and friends.
I loved that Lily finally got away from her toxic mother and father and found the love of her life in Colt.
Beautiful endings to all 6 books, well done Alexis, would highly recommend these books for the romantic book lover

Lily is stressed, overloaded needs a break. Colt loves his job it's his life focus. Both meet at a resort there send to and have hot time! Then real life comes into play and they meet again but Lily lied about her name and Colt has a wealthy family and now there working together. The tension is raw between them but Colt can't trust Lily so Lily decides to show Colt he can. Great angst, sexy romance! I really really enjoyed this book!
This was my first book by this Author and after having read 7 Dirty Lies I can say without a doubt I will be going back through her other books and getting up to speed!
Balancing the steamy with the sweet to perfect this book had more depth to it than I realized!
I loved the way these two met and then how they re-connected...by coincidence!
There was some angst and some tension which seemed to be the perfect amount for this tale of love!
This book, for me, was such a great introduction to this author!

Lily and Colt met while both on vacation but under different circumstances. They were both from different worlds but that didn't stop Lily. Things progressed then there was a bump in the road which was then all forgiven. Colt loved her fiercely and these two were ridiculously on fire.

I loved it!!!
Lily and Colt are so romantic with their words of poetry, and they're incredibly hot every time they get tangled up in the sheets!
What was supposed to be a fling on a vacation they were both shoved into, became so much more when their paths crossed again. They grew as friends and fell in love as they worked through all the deceit.
It's a beautiful love story!
