Meet the 2017 MFA in Visual Art cohort from the University of Washington.
We spent the last 2 years working our butts off in our studios, pushing ourselves and each other forward. This all culminated in our thesis exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery. The thesis show came down on Tuesday, June 27th, and we're still excited to keep working and experimenting and pushing our work to new places. In that vein, we have decided to come together for one more month in (ANTI)Thesis. In a small space we found in Fremont, we will be putting together several shows and events in July and August. This will help us to branch out from the university's insular community, but at the same time, offer our unique perspectives as an eclectic group of young artists that have come from around the world to Seattle. It's also a thank-you to this beautiful city that has become our home.
We are so excited to bring this work to you, but we need your help! Please help the UW MFA class of 2017 fund our last collaborative project together!
All money raised will go directly toward funding this project: rent, equipment, advertising, and events.
