Lasting about two hours, this tour may appeal to those looking for less of a time and athletic commitment. Great opportunity for first-time kayakers! From West Indies-style architecture of the late 1700s to Frank Lloyd Wright inspired homes, you’ll travel through time as we paddle from one charming neighborhood to the next, all the while learning the history and significance of Bayou St. John. The focus is mostly community with a hint of wildlife. In the warm season, this tour goes out during the romantic twilight hours.
Available by reservation only, we offer kayaking tours six days a week, year-round. We take a minimum of 2 kayakers. Children of all ages welcome! Please inform us of all children and their ages.
Book in the beginning of your trip so we have some wiggle-room to reschedule should the weather act up.
Size limit: up to 6’7” and 250 lbs.
Keep in mind, this is a small, family-run operation, if we do not respond immediately to your phone call or email, it’s probably because we’re on the water. As soon as we regain our land legs, we’ll get back to you!
You’ll receive a 100% refund for cancellations made with 2 days advance-notice (or if we cancel due to bad weather), 50% within 48 hours, and no refund within 24 hours. You will be charged the full ticket price if you’re a no show, and no call (within two hours of the appointed time).
